what I love is how complex each character is, at some point you don't even know who you're rooting for because they've all got some type of evil...their situation gets progressively worse and the thriller only gets better with each ep, reason why binging is the only way
Choi Mujin's character is very interesting, I have to commend Park HeeSoon (the actor) for such an amazing job.…
similar thoughts! despite all the wrong things he's done, it was hard not to empathize with his perspective a little. it hit me when he said "I never betrayed anyone, why do they always betray me?" it shows his character is not a one-dimensional evil, but has a complex humanity to him. I love that he was written with multiple layers
surprisingly I feel okay about this ending? it's exactly opposite of what I'd expect. I expected a sort of happier ending, where she ends up not killing CMJ and instead puts him behind bars for life. but this ending felt more raw, emotion-driven, filled with the same level of vengeance she had at the start. she already dug herself too deep into the hole, it just kept getting worse and worse. she was cornered so it makes sense they decided on a final showdown between her and CMJ.
anyways, I rarely rarely ever talk about love scenes but this one was genuinely THE best out there. like it was actually necessary, you've got 2 broken souls trying to patch up their wounds together. in that moment of vulnerability, they understood each other's emotions deeply. best chemistry I've seen in a while. also can we talk about the way JPD kissed the wound on her left arm? damn that was so sweet, my heart ached. don't mind me, just trying to cope with his death...
Ha Jung Woo and Jun Ji Hyun's chemistry was overflowing in this one I had to watch them in the Berlin File! Knowing…
Agreed their chemistry is overflowing! If you like Ha Jungwoo, I suggest watching his movie "Terror Live," he does an amazing job in the thriller genre there!
Sooo after thinking about it for 2 whole days, I just realized some symbolism in that last episode when CSB shot himself... it immediately panned to IJS, who turned around as if he had heard the gunshot, even though he wasn't even at the scene. We noticed that IJS slowly started to develop over the series, from being a hard-headed man stuck to this system of seniority, to finally snapping to his senses and disobeying (for once) in that last episode. I think IJS represents a tiny crack in this system. But that tiny crack wasn't enough. That quick snapshot of IJS's expression represents the efforts for change that toppled down at that moment.
It's great character development from his side but in the bigger picture, it really wasn't enough. The post-credits scene proves that, where CSB's friend said that familiar line of "I should at least do something" and then... proceeds to fire his gun at those soldiers. Nothing has changed after CSB's death. But maybe that ending scene where An Junho was running symbolizes some break of change. Just my interpretation trying to piece together that last heartbreaking scene plus the endings...cause I can't stop thinking about this drama.
constantly at the edge of my seat for this one...a lot of thrill and plot twists. and of course, excellent performance from ha jungwoo. even though it all takes place in one room, it's more intense than some action movies tbh
this drama pisses me off SO much and i’m only on ep 2. i want to punch my screen and slap all the characters. it’s so screwed up but i can’t stop watching. it’s so twisted yet intriguing and i get more and more curious as time passes. it’s good. it’s interesting. i think i have a love-hate relationship with this drama
