wish i had seen this in the cinemas. even without the special effects, i was tensely gripping my seat and cried buckets. the movie met its high expectations along w the very strong cast
song kang has ONLY been doing main roles for 3 years. he is still finding his niche, but through sweet home and navillera, i can tell that he excels greatly when doing serious roles---thriller and non-romance genres. he is someone with a lot of passion, just thinking back when he practiced hard at ballet just for his role in navillera. he can and will only keep improving from here.
omg the little designated survivor reunion between ji jinhee and son seokkoo!! so excited for this i'm so glad they're continuing ahn junho's storyline
so looking forward to this! i would've been okay with either way honestly, s1's ending or a s2 continuation. i think there's still a lot more backstory to tell
his performance in hard hit was AMAZING, so glad he was casted for happiness. definitely recommend watching him in mr. sunshine and chicago typewriter too, he's super diverse
actually, both are rated 10/10 on my list! so it's hard to tell, it just depends on your pacing if you like subplots and deeper storyline (series) or a quick, one-time watch (movie)
three meanings I found behind the title "more than blue"
1. "a story sadder than sad" - the original meaning.
2. "who said a sad story can't have a happy ending?" - the words of Pohan describing K & Cream's relationship after they both died. there's still a happy ending beyond their sadness. the story can be reinterpreted as: finally, Cream's heart is at ease and will meet K in the next life.
3. "the ocean separates us from the afterlife." - the ocean at the beach represents the "blue." Cream explained to K that when they both die, a ferryman carries them to the other side.
