Ahn hyo seop is so good here. He give more heart to the character and I cried when the story turn on him. I actually didn't expected he still has this youthful charm of yoo chan in still 17. He gives so much heart to this character and I thank him for giving his best in kim jin won drama. Don't get about a miscast because he is doing a good job with adding more frailty and fragility to his character compare to greg hsu.
I buy this version more abour their college days than the original version. make more sense why the girl love the guy so much and and they showing the struggling of Nam Si Heon in a accident until he meet the girl. It punch in the heart. But I like the high school days in original more.
Definitely enjoy this more than some netflix original which the acting bored me because they don't emote with nuance. Just mumbling wihout showing real character feeling.. The only weakness for me which is bother me is I can't buy nam si heon in his 40 years because he still look too young. And I buy potraying of greg hsu in his 40 years more. So I can't feel it when they finally met. I just keep thinking how young he is for 40 years old guy LOL And some problem with the original, the cconstantly back and forth the present and the past make me less invested with the character.

Well.. many drama actor is very underated like ahn bo hyun. He is better than some chung muro actor. So generalize someone less good just because he act in more drama than movie is a reach.

There might be thriller element in third act if they faithful on original. And there is also suicide. I don't think it require 18+. But I don't know. I wish there will be more intimate scene in this remake just wishfull thinking
Whah as a noir and melodrama lovers, fuckin love it. It's not as graphic as I expected, i have seen worse thankfully. But it's dark and unapolegic. I was expecting about a psycho drama with no heart, but it turn out to be one of the best korean drama this year after miraculous brother for me

Not all original watcher call it masterpiece. I'm in the minority who is not that invested in OG. Maybe my personal taste doesn't meet when watching the OG. So given the material, I will definitely not have high expectation story wise. I don't see the masterpiece fans the original implied. I Just want to enjoy the performances this remake and the way the director told his story.

It's not like there is no over dramatic moment in SOOD. From adding psycho , suicide, dll. There is nothing wrong with adding more melancholic and melodrama.
In my country Indonesia, the ticket is stil available. It's understable since in September there is pack alot of of fanmeeting and concert come to our country. We just can't buy all of them since the ticket is expensive lol.
So far seoul, bangkok and taipei is the one which already sold out. Want to go to his fanmeet but so far away from my home despite in 1 country .huhuhu
