This is the reason I at times feel bothered by the fans of the original remake / adaptation. Their previous drama/novel/webtoon seems no flaw that any remake which is different will always get critics. it kills the momentum. I hate them sometimes for killing the euforia who want to see the adaptation. they criticsm often invalid because it's more ego than valid critism.

you critics something in open forum means you are bound to get agreement and disagreement with your view. If you want everyone agree with you, just search a forum where everything filled with criticsm if your aim is dislike the show. It's okay to disagree with the critics, because at the end of the day, opinion is just bias, nothing 100 % objective.

the drama is too violent for a suppose slice of life drama. does it become a thriller? The director really doing a good job for making this drama SEEMS has the same tone So I'm not feeling whiplash watching it. the first 10 min of episode 6 is so dark.

Her mannerism is not childlike. Many people in countrysde act like her.... more like a person who is never smell or far way too long to smell BIG city lifestyle. when they are in BIG CIty, they are talkactive overly excited for something new or they only seen on tv.... I don't know about South Korea, but here in Indonesia it's like that. More over she is already far away from people for 15 years . That's just one similiraties between Young Woo and Moo Hwak is her mannerism, but different purpose. She ever act this innocent character on surface in Woo Young WOo, off course there will be some similarities to PEB acting approach in here . but still, I can see the different.

more over, many good actor keep the same mannerism with the way they potray the character, as long as the character has some similarities with their previous project. only a few great actor can transform completely different mannerism with the same character trait in their previous project.

Yeh abit dissapoint he is 2nd lead. So far after moohwak journey, i invest his journey the most. I didn't expected they would give this kind of meaty stuff in his roles. I haven't ready them to switch focus from him to 1st male lead

I don't find her an autistic person. More like a person from a countryside which is still pure and innocent. I think it's what make people think park eun bin feels like playing woo young woo.. Moo hwak is way more connect to her surrounding and a good listener.

And please is there any actor or acctress that potray different mannerism 180 without trace of their previous potrayal? Only few of them can. There will be always a character trait which is their true trait and mannerism in real life.

He is not limit FFS, Or else he won;t be able pulling off AGOOD ACTING in Sageuk. Sageuk is not easy to pull off.

I mean I really think it's more to do with him tired being back to back drama without rest... He is in a slump.

him in nevertheless his acting is really not that effective... not that convincing he is actually the seductive bad guy, but he is quite enjoyable in navirella where he doesn't need to be seductive and look cool guy type and tsundere . He might be not the best actor but i think he will be effevtive on here. I haven't seen his comedic skills though.

It must due to overwork. He need to rest for while imo. Acting while not as phisically demanding as idol or sport, being an actor is emotionally demanding, yess at times phisically demanding.
Too. It's exhausting to reciting line while have to emote and become another character without a break. It can affect your mental health. It happenned with his friend hyoseop too. He should rest for a while. He is good actor imo. Prove his good acting in tomorrow and king of affection.

Ha-Young in Doona is so so pretty. Her prettiness is really really shine in Doona, and she is such a good acctress.... To give a life and nuance a character as calm as Jin Joo is a good feat. Love her. is there a drama where she gets spotlight ?

Nah maybe it's just you and it's your problem andd sood fans who is against his casting from the start. He is nowhere a very calm guy, a cool guy yes. A calm guy is what Kang Hoon is potraying Ing Gyu. A calm guy guy wouldn't be all playfull when chasing the girl he likes. Or are we watching the same show? even so it doesn't take away the emotional wavelength is accurate and it's what's matter. He doesn't bring the same playfulness in lizi wei is not that matter. More over, as great as greg hsu is, he often acting the same type of character. It's already 3 project he give the same acting performances. Unlike hyoseop who already doing multiple different potrayal.

I'm not Greg Hsu haters, but all this SOOD Fans and hyoseop haters trying to bombardir trying to convince people how bad Hyo Seop is meanwhile he give more variety roles than their fav make me giggle.

I'm really happy he get big offer. But sad at the same time because that movie is aim for 5 season movie. How many years I have to wait him in a drama again? yeah it's my ego to hope he get drama offer every year.

I don't get it. he is already quite hyper in ATCY. and he show his naivety quite alot through his facial expression and body language. even so, he is still embody the character that his character is pretty smart person but still has free spirit and naivety.
He already potray naive and dumb character like Chamin in Abys.. he is less hyper than Yoo CHan but more hyper than NAm Si Heon. But his character will appear too dumb and too naive. Nam Si heon is naive but not that naive.

moreover, the tone is melodrama. I think it's director decision which make him tone it down it alot.

Nam si heon and seo woojin is nuance character and he potray that emotion pretty well. Some of this forum is too nitpicky. What nuance emotion he has to show? Are nuance emotion is different compare to what I see?

He is overact in still 17... as good as he is there. Naam si heon is smarter than li zi wei so it will be abit out of place if he act like still 17.

Hyoseop in first half might abit underwhelming in 1st half of atcy. But not the 2nd half. How he has to copy greg hsu? His performances start ep 6 is magnificient. Few actor who will give me that passionate acting like he does in his age especially in netflix series. He doesn't need to overact to convey sincere emotion. And he is the least actor you have to worry in this casting.

yeah I admit, sometimes we watch with 1.5 speed and hardly pay attention, especially slice of life genre, we tend to loose our focus since they often potray a glimpse of every day life which at times we don't need to pay attention that much.

If this drama don't have suzy, i doubt it will get this much attention. It's not because this drama is bad. The point is drama is not for mainstream audience. I mean this drama require audience to pay attention to the whole scene without explanation much. And it require nuance actor to make the scene work.

Didn't expected suzy choose this kind of drama after anna.

How can some of you finished the drama already? Wahhh

I just think he didn't understand his char yet. I'm confuse at times what exactly the emotion His char wanted to potray. But he slowly getting there as his character getting more explore.
