Baek hyun sung from family by choice. He is outact both leads in family by choice and shine in miraculous brother aand gyeongseong creature 2with totally opposite character.. Hope he become the main lead in good drama one day.

Love her in legend of anle. The complicated feeling between her and supposed enemy Han Ye and Anning is quite complicated yet touching. She is so nuance in this drama. One of the best ensemble cast in chinese drama I have seen so far. since every important character give the nuance to their character more than it should have. That court scene in episode 25 is still my favourite.

I don't know why anyone love my glory. but you are my glory bored me to tears from the first 3 episode.. With 32 episode is just to strecth and long. Sorry pass i think i will drop it since the char are not that interesting for me.. I think blue whisper is quite engaging based on your review.

Me Too. It bored me to tears. But maybe I'm not afan an adventure novel in general. They explain so much about the rules more and less about the character it's self. That make my brain hurts. The character appear and dissapead quote often, which make me confuse Which character I Should invest other than the leads. I love it when I already see on screen like harry potter, I start to read the novel after watching the movie because I already can see the whole picture. I'm just not good at imagining think.

What I mean is, almost every greenflag character in korean or chinese drama being written just for woman fantasy and wishfull thinking for looking a man like them, that is almost unrealistics. like mary sue type of character. Like a ceo in big company who can cook and serve the ladies, like to clean, and forgive almost every of her mistake and be the woman slave. Like their only purpose of their arc is for being mate with the leading female lead despite I have no idea where is that passion comes from, after meeting just 3 - 4 meeting with the lady, they just get along well, and that's it. .
It's not like they don't exist. They are just rare and there is alot character like that in drama it's almost become stereotype. It's not i don't support good guy leading man with good arc, the writters just very lazy writing them, they are become boring. I do have fav. Good guy character.like park dong hoon in my mister and han ye in legend of anle.

Well I watch drama for art value, and sometimes entertainment. I won't marry him, so I don't think I will look for the greenest flag for male lead, because at times, the green flag male lead look like fake green flag. Nothing in him is geniune from the writers. Because I believe Human has emotion, there is always negative and positive. no one in the world don't have flaws.

I think as long as he is interesting, I will love them.

He has chemistry with woman. Actor will always has off and on with their co star. He has good chemistry with his leading lady in flavour it's yours, unique lady, begin again, and legend of anle.

When is he going to return? He hasn't picked any project since omniscient reader.

yes some either chinese or korean historical drama confuse me, too many convoluted plot and scheming and at times lost focus what matters. My historical acknowledge is not good, so some historical drama assume we know what's going on historically, so they talk about something I don't understand. make it hard connect to the character. This drama flows very well and stay cohesive from the start. with actors giving their good performances make it very enjoyable drama for me.

Baek Hyeon Seong. Can;t wait to watch him in a more grey / black character. He is very good in Miraculous Brother as a kind guy.

Watching it for Gong Jun after he impressed me for his performances in begin again. Suprisingly, i thought it will be his best drama and best performances. I really don't enjoy it at all . Up until episode 4, And he is underutilized so far, he show more depth in 4 episode begin again than 4 episode in this. I hope it get's better. Because I really love legend of anle. I really can't believe it has the same director as legend of anle which I really enjoy more.

alot of this awards choose their nomination because of the show is getting popular / buzz. Popularity playing A big part in it before they choose a winner between this popular actor/acctress get choosen. So it's understable there is a disagreement. We have eyes, and we also know who is put a great performances and who is just because of popularity first then acting second. I'm not saying the winner is a not right choosen one. If they choose for pure acting skill, you will find many unpopular one get choosen for best acting nomination. often supporting character outshining the leads. but it's not.

There is very few chinese drama I watched. But this is one of the best ensemble cast chinese drama with overall great acting for almost important character I've seen. I'm invested in their journey despite usual cliche element they use. Definitely worth to rewatch for appreciating the acting alone. Reba and Gong Jun giving their all here, restrain but nuance emotion. the character feels so complex and rich thanks to their depict the character. never get bored watching it.

Watching some non mainstream drama, it will be good. Many mainstream drama in every country not always a good one. Many of them has aim to attract many audience as possible, So they scared to experience. They appeal to the audience because of familiar plot to the big audience so it can bring Big buzz . Watching some KBS Special drama for example, it can bring some fresh, because at times they bring unusual plot or diferent plot line.

Also, Pay attention to the nuance acting of the actor and what they are trying to convey and the directing (from the set to little detail director trying to convey) when watching with good director and reliable actor, it will make watching experience much different and more fullfilling.
So many drama/film has similar plot but the inpretation is different because they act with different actor, different set and different point of view .

Reading comment below, make me wonder Are we watching the same drama? THere is no better playing male lead Ling Rui except Gong Jun. ANy less talent actor would make this character less interesting and boring. Especially on the third act when you have require show more complex but restrain emotion. . He is so expressive I know his character's feeling just by seeing his eyes and facial expression.

I first notice her in Celebrity, and she hold her own I was notice of her talent in that drama. some month later, She successed as female lead in perfect marriage revenge and proud of her after watching her excelent acting she give in celebrity. I wish she will act in another Kim Chul Kyu drama. She is so good. can do a multifaceted character.

I really love it despite it has it's flaws.... but understand the character decision. It has so many tropes, and the writing has flaws. But i forgive because the directing is really good, can capture every emotion the actor convey and combine with good score, it make some the unbelivable circumstance believable. I'm suck into their world. But the corporate stuff in a romance drama usually won't handle with such detail and complicate despite it's focus too much in the middle of drama for the sake of dramatic conflict, so it's the only thing I'm yawn about.

This drama is mainly focus on the female lead journey despite it has so many subplot. but Gong Jun is hold his own here, I was moved by his sincere emotion. He is nuance in this drama. Capture almost every character emotion. Never waste every emotion he convey to his character especially when the drama went to the third act which his character required him showing emotion of masking those yearning emotion for someone. capture every little detail. Does he always be this good? What other roles he is acting this well?

I'm not a fan acting of the leads also.... but I hardly can blame them in this, the character hardly make sense

that's okay, we have agree to disagree. you can praise him in one ordinary day, it's different project, his acting performances here is another story. his acting here is not my cup of tea then .

His acting is you will notice the more you watch him intenstly and plus compare to other actor supporting actor who perform better than him .it's is okay if you just supporting roles who only got 5 - 7 min in evrry episode. But it's painful if they are male lead. He is lucky he is a hallyu star. Seems public always forgive their performances.
