I agree with you with his acting in this drama. I don't know his acting with his other drama. But His serious scene what can I say? Abit Lack depth and sincerity? Maybe not geting his character yet, and will get better as his character will more explore.
The standout performances for me is ryeoun and shin eun soo so far

yeah it felt too real. I was once in that state, so I feel it.

I find the story in A time Called you for Min Ju is enough IMO. It can't be overshadowed the leads story since they are the center of the plot. In fact, the 2 final episode is more impactful for me than the original for Min Ju's character. The acting here is important to potray the inner struggle of Min Ju and the writers is doing a good job IMO.

Ryeoun is killing it here man. No wonder the man keep getting male lead roles. The guy is amazing, he is one of the reason I watch this drama. But with his height and his youthfull aura, I worried he will often get high schooler roles than roles with his actual age

Well, in original they have enough time to explore. and in original, they also more focus on the love story than Chen Yu Ru's story. so it make sense
Also, Jeon Yeo Been more effective explore Minju's struggle more than original acctress and make the struggle more raw.

I think This is the most sincere acting I've seen from Chi Jang Wook.

I know what you are coming from. But There is alot of Younger acctress who is younger than Wi Ha Joon in South Korea who actually can act. They are just lack exposure, unfortunately the one who get spotlight is an acctress who can't act. There are alot of good young acctress who stuck in supporting roles.

I was first saw him in something In the Rain, That's when I know him. And I heard after that he would started in Que Sera Sera remake II was so hype up back then, but unfortunately, It didn't materialized.

And Now, I can't believe that one day I would be seeing him in Ahn Pan Seok drama again and this time as the male lead. It makes me super happy.

Ahn Pan Seok is more often lead a story where the woman is older. And I don't really mind, since Ahn Pan Seok will make a really worthy mature romance drama. WOuld rather Wi Ha Joon starring in romance Ahn Pan Seok drama than lead in any other romance. Now I really can't wait to find out who is the screenwriters. I hope it will be different. I don't want another Kim Eun writers.

Nam Si Heon is intellegently smart in study, but is more to do with his high IQ that help him. Nam Si Heon is just as naive as li zi wei, they both are still a teenagers in high school who prone to have wishful thinking.

After all, it make sense after he is mature enough, he success to make His girlfriend goes to the past thanks to his intelegent.

no hate to Greg Hsu, I love his potrayal of Lizi Wei, but Li ziwei Is flawed character too, just like Nam Si Heon.

In terms of appeareance, i think prefer hyoseop though. Greg hsu doesn't has much diference from high school to 40's. Hyoseop in high school really look like high schooler, i was actually feel the age gap different between him and jun hee, because in some angle yeo been reallyblook like his age meanwhile hyoseop look like really high schoold student. and i cant believe he look much older in his 40s. He is so comeleon.

i think that's the whole point? all this mess might be start due to time travelling. but it start from si heon selfishness and unaware with minju's feeling

his performances in drama is underwhelming in in his recent work. please, bring back that passion again with this movie, song joong ki!

I agree with you. The one think I bother alot he is not even concern about what happened to original body and just when ahead with his mission. I know the original soul has died, but please can you put a little more corncern about the original soul? How can you just when ahead to the plane.?

In fact i'm really hating Shi Heon both in OG and remake in the last 2 -3 episode, so might be that's why the writers choose to make him feels all the suffering. . Glad the show address it.

It's one of ahn hyoseop best performances? . So much sincerity pour into his character here Especially when getting towards the end. I thank him for a great effort he make, from losing weight to look younger to gaining weight to look older and all the emotional scene. It's just a netflix series, and more over a romance genre, which means will have little recognition and appreciation. But he give his all. Some people here doesn't understand what great acting means to conclude his acting is weak or just plain hater towards remake. He is showing more character frailty trait and more depth char than the character has offer. Now I'm looking forwards his performances in Omniscient reader as kim dokja. He will eat the vulnerable state of that character.

I just want to be thankful to him giving his all in My fav PD project.

Yeon Jun is already technically dead before si heon take over the body. More over the time reset make Yeon Jun still has a chance he might live.

The execution is different, but they keep the char of the original Yeon Jun the same.

Ahn hyo seop is so good here. He give more heart to the character and I cried when the story turn on him. I actually didn't expected he still has this youthful charm of yoo chan in still 17. He gives so much heart to this character and I thank him for giving his best in kim jin won drama. Don't get about a miscast because he is doing a good job with adding more frailty and fragility to his character compare to greg hsu.

I buy this version more abour their college days than the original version. make more sense why the girl love the guy so much and and they showing the struggling of Nam Si Heon in a accident until he meet the girl. It punch in the heart. But I like the high school days in original more.

Definitely enjoy this more than some netflix original which the acting bored me because they don't emote with nuance. Just mumbling wihout showing real character feeling.. The only weakness for me which is bother me is I can't buy nam si heon in his 40 years because he still look too young. And I buy potraying of greg hsu in his 40 years more. So I can't feel it when they finally met. I just keep thinking how young he is for 40 years old guy

And some problem with the original, the cconstantly back and forth the present and the past make me less invested with the character.

Yeah add to what a let down Kang Hoon performances is. I was thought he is the most well cast among the three, but it turn out he is a miscast. The OG version ia better at acting than him.
