I think the ML read the ex-GF well though. It seemed as if she was annoyed that he was suddenly okay as if she was expecting that he would still be picking up the pieces so when he told her that she looked unhappy, her revenge was to purposefully cause a misunderstanding between him and FL.

You really can't blame the dog though. Dogs love to do whatever they want to. You could also say that the dog symbolises her too in some form, that she, due to her past became a stray in this world, but then started healing when she found herself embraced by another person going through the same thing (ML), and little by little she healed, only then for her fear to awaken and for her faith then to be tested. It's really not something you can judge unless you've been at rock bottom. Once you do, you start having little faith in the world and it's hard to keep hopeful when especially when things are going so well.

I don't think it was unreasonable for the ML to not believe the FL. To be fair, while they both understood each other's traumas and triggers (ML's anger issues due to hating injustice, FL's due to her traumatic past as a victim of DV victim with a particularly abusive ex along with the social judgment of being made a mistress of an upper class, wealthy family), it's actually different witnessing the root of those traumas. So for him to see evidence of just how much she was hurt physically by her ex and seeing those photos and him meeting the ex, that's really only when he could really believe in full just how much those experiences has made her gain extreme anxiety and PTSD.

It's also the same for her as even though she believes that she could "tame" him because he's "a big, angry dog", I don't think she too really understands just how much injustice frustrates him because he has such a fixed moral compass. I mean I'm not sure if the police officer also might have influenced her to break up with him so that he could continue to be reinstated, but if that's the case, they really just both misunderstood each other so I don't think their reactions were wildly unjustified.

Glad they didn't kill the dog. For a second I thought they did! That would've been so horrible.

Yeah it's definitely this, especially if the spouses are, by society's standards, a top couple so it's always difficult, and even unthinkable, to separate/divorce.

I meant to say that what the wife did to the FL was a bit unjust seeing as she never really cheated, but was made a mistress of, so her criticisms towards her was unjustified. I understand that spouses get mad but to me it just irks me when women blame the other woman more so than the spouse. It's like, you know he's a cheat but you still stay with him kind of thing that's annoying.

Wow can't believe it's already ending!! Min Kyung and Hwi Oh are such a hoot together!! Their compatible craziness is off the charts! Also whilst Hwi Oh may not be conventionally or typically attractive, his deep voice and the way he shows care for people around him makes you really fall in love with him ahaha!

Oh really? So you feel like the characterisation wasn't fully developed? Normally in cheating dramas, there's a clear reason why spouses cheat, for eg. ego, feeling less than their mega rich spouses etc. Did you enjoy it at least? I saw that the second season was already out on Netflix so I thought it might be something to watch.

FL's ex is an asshole. I don't think she even really cheated. He made her into his mistress without her knowing. And his wife was too much. I mean, blame your husband, maybe.
