I love the cast, but think the story is pretty average. And, even though I like Shen Yue, I really don't like…
I agree with your thoughts on Gu Yi! I felt the same thoughts while watching. She feels a bit forceful. Meanwhile, he doesn't seem to mind, but is also unintentionally leading her on, even being aware of his psychiatrist's suggestions.
Definitely an unusual dynamic where both characters have their own flaws and are capable of letting the other down. At the same time, I think it is quite realistic and am anticipating growth from both characters, so I am still watching and enjoying it.
On ep 10 now and I honestly feel like Xing Xin and Mr. Lu is such a missed opportunity π Their chemistry could have been fire
I really like this drama. Just marches to the beat of its own drum, and the dramatic/romantic scenes aren't overdone or super cheesy (main reason I can't watch modern cdramas). It's so refreshing. Especially considering the youthful vibe of the main leads, the characters are more mature than many others.
The color grading is a bit too somber, and for some reason even the normal scenes make me feel like I can expect horror to happen at any moment lol. But thanks to the actors, it's bearable.
I love the leads here, they are perfect for their roles!! I love how neither are super sexy/have a mature vibe,…
How the eff is he so fast at walking down the stairs π³ I've never seen a random skill like that casually demonstrated in a drama in my life (and irl)
I love the leads here, they are perfect for their roles!! I love how neither are super sexy/have a mature vibe, just youthful. When she was watching him exercise it felt pure instead of awkward lolll I can't believe they pulled that off effortlessly.
This is also the first drama I've watched w/ such a huge height difference and it's so funny how they dealt with it ππ From the scenes that have her head in it but his cut entirely off, to the ones where we can see his head but you can only see 2cm of the top of hers, to him sleeping on a couch way too small for him.
I'm only on the 2nd ep lol but I just love the opening, ending, vibes and music!
Especially how subdued/understated/not overly embellished it seems to be. Idk if there are any others with the same vibe, but the style reminds me of A League of Nobleman (please rec me more if they are out there!).
The plot reminds me of older style dramas back when there were only a few in this genre. Going in without many expectations, hopefully it has a happy ending (if not I'll make my own π)
BEWARE, upcoming theorycrafting:Maybe I'm running wild, stop me any time. I haven't even seen a single ep, nor…
I honestly feel the same!! I was like surely the ML transmigrated too? Maybe he's the author and felt attacked by her comment, some god decided it would be fun to pit them against each other, so now they are suffering together lol.
And if he's the author then it's in his favor to make the story go HIS way so he can get out. But instead, she broke it and now he can't control what happens ππ
And neither of them can trust each other's motives so it's this fun dynamic where it keeps them questioning.
Idk if this is really going to be the case, I'd be sad if he was just an NPC!!
i loved this SO much i'm not even kidding. if you like business proposal, kim seon ho, and what's wrong with secretary kim, you will probably like this!!
Iam at that point of the series where ljx doesn't suprise me any more...As for the sister...she's in a phase and…
Right! I was so nervous how they would handle the leads' relationship because it was so promising early on (and I've been let down many times before this drama), but they nailed it very well all through the episodes. That's like a 100% score, almost impossible realistically, but they did it.
I also love how delicately they've handled the "makjang" plot. Most dramas play it up, make us cry or frustrated, and milk our tears. I've never seen a drama accomplish doing the opposite - keeping it light and hopeful - with such an insane plot (murders, multiple attempts on Yining's life, "ur not the father!!!", crazy concubine).
Unpopular opinion: Ci Sha (LJX) is a great actor. I want to see him in roles where everyone can appreciate him.…
I agree! Also he has such unique facial features, or I guess rarely seen in modern cdramas.
He reminds me of Tony Leung (I've only watched him in Lust, Caution but omg) haha. Just so much potential to cast him in a variety of different roles. Sad that despite his immense amount of screentime as second male lead, he's not promoting with the other cast members (I mean fair, but still).
I am finishing off ep 17- 40 Are you the one? With Zhang Wan Yi. He looks exactly the same here as in the other…
I would probably finish one drama first before starting the other. It's why I havent started AYTO yet despite wanting to π₯² I echo everyone else's sentiment, it's a really sweet, light drama
The reviews here look good, but Avenue X said that the drama is a waste of time, so is it worth watching??
Totally subjective, but I looked at your watchlist and I think we watch similar series - I'm really enjoying it. It's super cozy and rewatchable, both actively and in the background.
The entire first episode was just okay, but once it got to the end I couldn't stop anticipating more.

People seemed to say it was really good and were happy with it/it indicated a happy ending/wasn't forced so here we go!!

He had a reason for it - and it's not for his own benefit, but hers. It would dispel when she is back home safe and sound.

also its about halfway in and they barely started touching it, but i dont think it will consume the plot! fingers crossed
