You know when you have an itch that needs scratching, but you can't quite reach it despite your best effort? Like, your close but can't seem to reach the spot? Thats how I felt about this drama and its upsetting.

In my opinion, seeing as how this is more about the relationships between our leads, I don't think it would've done much for the story to show most of battle scenes. I think what they did just narrating those events was fine

Re watching this and still as heart breaking as the first time. Jing being so kind to a fault, xiang Liu's cruelty, cang xuan being so calculating and fenglongs being a third nipple irks me even more this time. I wish Jing would stand up or speak up. Still awesome though

This is series is such a downer, I expected it to be more lively than melancholic. Its good, but I found the tags were misleading.

Lin Yi is so tall, he looks much better than he did a few years ago but he might benefit from filling out a bit more. They want the men to be strong, but don't want them to look strong. It's insane! The obsession they have with 40kg women is also crazy, imagine a taller woman like dilraba being expected to weigh the same as Shen Yue who's significantly shorter.

The beauty standards they have over there are so messed up, I wonder if these actors don't get health issues because of their body weight. A typical grown man should typically be able to carry that much weight.
