It started good and light and I thought it’s gonna be that kinda webdrama, n I was so wrong! At first half we got that light cute funny romance with him being a government guy n her as a poor girl turned to a boat owner, n they finally falling for each other after some things happened and decided to get married... but then everything went down from that...
They didn’t have their wedding, they got separated, he was married to SFL by force, he ran away to look for her, they reunited again, she found out he is a married man, they kinda split up, he explained the fake marriage thing, she forgave him n played along to catch the bad guys, so many people around them died, they finally got the bad guys, she took the stab meant for him, she kinda died but instead went into a coma for 10years, he saved her by sacrificing his lifeforce or something like that, she woke up and then finally they can have their happy ending, living together as commoners... so that’s the short summary of what happened to them...
Overal i still like their chemistry, their scenes together r what I enjoyed... the villains parts honestly I skipped lots, coz somehow in this drama there r just too many villains for my taste... n at the end of the day so many good people around them ended up dead! I still think it’s an ok drama... I’m just saying don’t expect light fluffy romance, coz the later half is full of angsts n it lasted till the last episode...
Finally finished watching this drama... Best modern Chinese Drama IMO... Everything is just perfect till the end... It really followed the novel!
What I luv: - The chemistry between the leads r off the chart & how breathtaking they look everytime... The skinships r just so detailed, the small small things count, I luv how they portray how real couple acts when they r in luv, like how they just can’t get their hands off each other, those eye contacts, etc... I can definitely rewatch this over and over... - It’s a perfect adaptation of the novel... especially the epilogue parts! We got so many eps after they r being together... it’s kinda a slow burn romance, but turbo speed when they r finally together, worth the wait! - No 2nd leads! Yes there were 1ex for each of them, but they appeared briefly just for a closure, n no annoying moment coz the mainleads were never in luv with them anyway... - No breakup! I luv how healthy relationship this couple have... the angst came a bit only before they get together, but afterwards it’s happy relationship till the end... it’s a light fluffy romance... - No cliche moments (like accidental fall n kiss stuff)... what happens to them feels like a normal people relationship... - The cinematography, the directing, the music, the editing, the wardrobe are all amazing! - Good casts... There r people in there that u’have definitely seen in lots of dramas that play small parts here... Like Janice Wu, I always luv her n eventhough she only appeared a bit, but it was memorable...
I luv almost everything about this drama, but if I have to choose something that I only like n not luv: - The gaming session in the early part of the drama when they talk only talk about the game... maybe coz I’m not a gamer, so... but it was ok when they r gaming together while doing daily stuff n that final game was cool... so overall it’s a not a problem from me... - The aerospace aspect is kinda too technical sometimes, I couldn’t relate... however ML’ profession as an aerospace engineer is something I’ve never seen before, so it was refreshing to watch...
Anyway, this drama overall is superb! Storywise is so real, something I think any normal people can relate... the work struggling, the relationship dilemma, financial aspect, pursuing the dream, etc... I highly recommend this drama for their top notch romance and if u like the achieving the dream kinda drama... plus look at both of them, visually they r just perfect! I’m hoping for another future project of them together... So get ready to rewatch this drama... I know I am for I don’t know how many times already...

Hehe u never know, it depends on the story & script too... n 2 big stars like them, i’m sure it’ll be a good production... plus i like them both so I hope they’ll have a successful drama as well... the hot part I gotta agree though, especially since it’ll be a historical drama, usually the lovey dovey part won’t be as much as a modern drama... but visually, they r both very pleasing to the eyes, so I guess we’ll see their chemistry...

Anyway, IMO Reba always has good chemistry with her costars, luv her in TLB with Leo Wu and I’m looking fwd to her dramas with Allen Ren & Simon Gong... Also YY drama LoveO2O was my 1st ever Chinese drama n the reason I fell for Chinese dramaland... also looking fwd to his drama with Zhao Lusi... so yeah, i’ll keep supporting their individual works too, but still hoping that they’ll get another drama together in the future... coz beside their chemistry, visually they r just breathtaking n i’d definitely luv to see them being in the same drama frame again... :)
I love this series so much! The chemistry between the leads r off the chart, even if it’s a slowburn kind... n visually they r just drop dead gorgeous couple... The story is realistic with some struggles n dilemmas (n eventhough the whole aerospace part is kinda difficult to understand, but it’s something new, so it’s ok)... n it really follows the novel! Plus some add ons scenes to maximize the 32eps, but all good IMO...

I’m sorry but honestly I forgot, I think officially in eps 10ish... they liked each other pretty early, but since he found out who she actually was, the revenge plot kinda meddled in n making their relationship is between real n not, if u know what I mean... for some eps his need for revenge is a bit bigger than his luv for her, so he uses her, but he still loves her nonetheless, kinda...
However, I’m putting this one on hold after eps30, it got more unbearable for me to watch...
I actually liked this drama even with its flaws. I thought the chemistry between the ML and FL were best when…
I just finished this n I agree with everything u said... especially the point that they should’ve made much less misunderstandings... I know that’s something a drama must have, but in this series they kinda went too much with the misunderstanding parts that at some points it became so annoying to watch... we as audience didn’t get time to take in the happy times n another misunderstanding is already happening, again n again...
I like both leads, their chems is good, so they kept me watching this till the end, coz honestly I skipped like lots when they were not in the scenes... IMO their sweet times r just not enough...
But what I really like about this drama is the setup (CG, the set, wardrobe), they look like a costly production, not like most web dramas...
