I did that too, skipping lots of scenes without any of the mainleads... i’m hoping tonight (eps27) n forward, there will be more of their scenes n less of the villains... we can be hopeful right?
Exactly! I like those first few eps before he got arrested by his agency n then by the villains... I prefer that kinda plot, mainleads fighting together while encountering the villains... it’s just a wasted chems coz I think in those lil scenes they r together, they look cute... I’m still hoping after the last (eps26) they’ll be investigating together... n i still think the villains got too much screen time... we’ll see what happens in the next few eps...
N yes, I also don’t really get that agency... plus i watch it RAW, so lots of things I’m just guessing... hehe... but IMO it’s kinda annoying to know from the start that the leader is the villain... he just has that badguy looks...

Agree... I believe that too, GeSun got their happy ending... However I was just hoping to at least get the last scene of them in 1 frame being together, side by side, holding hands, looking at each other smiling happily... that’d be enough...

It started of kinda interesting n there were some actions, but IMO it went downhill after ML was arrested... they have spent around 10eps already of him being in captive n getting tortured... I know it’s a thriller genre, but it’s just so depressing watching it.. 22eps in n the bad guys r winning all the way... I wanna see him in action n not like this... I’m starting to loose interest, but I might keep watching it for the ML, I like his other dramas.. I hope he’ll get released soon n we can really see him in action... if not, I might drop it... I had high expectation, but... *sigh

It is after all Chinese Historical Drama... this kinda ending is much much better than lots of others! Those tragic endings r just too much sometimes... I know they could’ve done a better ending, but looking at the bright side, at least it’s a happy ending right? So for now lets just hope for those deleted scenes... I’ll be better if they just give us that...

I like Leyan, she has a good character development n her relationship with Haodu n also CG is cute, so she is an ok from me for an added character... but that prince n his friend? Pass! Yes, I’ve seen it, liking it n also not happy with the ending... but for that I’ve heard there was supposed to be a 2nd season, however it has copyrights problem so they can’t continue the story n leaving us just hanging...

IMO they got their happy ending... yes they r not in the last frame together, but from the way that eagle flying it looks like they r both in grassland n located closeby.. they r about to meet each other... n that’s how I’m gonna interpret the last scene, coz why would they be in the same place n not being together after all the promises they made to each other.. I believe in this , n also for my peace of mind...

Yeah I’ve heard about that too, I read it in IG about the netizens in China got pissed for the cut of lots of scenes... I’m grateful that at least they give us a happy ending, but that unsatisfied feeling just lingers... I wonder if they’ll give us some extra scenes because of the fans’ complaint, do they do that, give in to fans’ demands?
I’m still hopeful since this drama is popular locally n also internationally... let’s hope!

What I like: - AS&CG r alive n well living happily ini grassland... they deserve it! - it’s also a happy ending for almost every good character (except for Mujin&Mimi) - Everybody got together n save AS from the execution, luv that part! - AS n She’er somehow found their peace, liking their moments... - Evil Yicheng finally died
What I’m not satisfied with: - I know it’s a happy ending for the mainleads, but they don’t even put them in the same frame in the end... why oh why? I just need a peek of their happy live together... - I know it’s not a romance genre, but could they at least have had more scenes together? It’s enough that the mainleads got separated for a few eps when AS’ mom died n also when CG went to look for the drugs for Mujin in Mobei, but starting from eps44 middle till eps48 they were apart again coz AS was in prison... - Last eps felt a bit rushed n some r not explained... Like why in the end AS is wearing his war clothes in the grassland? Or they just wanna show how AS looks his best, coz I do luv him in that warsuit...
Overall I still think it’s one of the best dramas I’ve ever watched!
Sorry for the rants... I heard they cut 1eps? So I’m still hoping for some miracles that we’ll get some extra scenes, since the drama is very popular... It can happen right? Fingers crossed!

William Chan is always good in action... I like him, n the chems with FL is good... but kinda annoyed that after meeting only for a short period n not even in many scenes together, they got separated again... too early to be separated n all we get is flashbacks... just reminding myself it’s only 14eps...
