The show is based on the Novel. Many thought it was based on the web toon and are upset because it’s not what they expected (and happy leads felt nice after their struggles)….

And as many stated she introduced herself as ex-fiancé. The FL should be able to rise above this issue especially since ML didn’t do anything improper to FL.

The tv show is based on the web novel not the webtoon so that’s why ep 12 was such a surprise.
Of course it’s your choice, but the writers got a LOT of people talking!
Though I think they’re following the less popular novel version, while most are familiar with the popular web toon version.
Perhaps fortunately, I was not familiar with either. I’ve seen many of PMY’s shows and she is always great.
Maybe, just maybe the writers will keep this detour short and brings the two Leads closer y the end of the next episode!?!
(Perhaps the producers, directors and writers read MDL? The last episode was not well received by many!)
