The chairman, I think, told GS she was his most important priority.
At the time I gave pause, because he has kids, but I guess that’s his choice.
Sadly for DS, he is valued equally with GS’s bil’s.

Again letting his ex-wife in the home especially unaccompanied is their fault (the Eagle brothers & GS).
She discovered MiSuns engagement ring when she was left alone in CS ‘s bedroom…
Sad & lazy plot devices… one or two is okay but not everything should be that easy!

I don’t understand how someone that isn’t listed in the corporate papers or on any of the loans or other legal documents can do this.

However if all that is needed is a rubber signature stamp dipped in a red ink pad, then I suggest that GS and the eagles invest in a lock for their doors and keep it locked all the time. As well as a safe door something like a stamp that can change her destiny.

If CS’s wife had NOT had unfettered access to the eagles & GS’s home most of this situation wouldn’t have happened.
Additionally, if the passive eagles brothers & CS didn’t entertain the exwife’s diatribe this wouldn’t have happened.

I enjoyed this show up to now, but it’s de-evolved into every other weekender at this point.
Disappointing for me for now.

After ready your 2nd paragraph and thinking about the story I’ll concede, you are correct about this story. Maybe what I said comes from often being disappointed with quite a few Kdramas. I guess I’m in the minority that would watch happy characters living a Happy life. I guess sadly that may make not make a commercially compelling show… 😔
As I reflect this was definitely a complete story, with no stone left unturned or spirit no without a backstory. We got to see over 100 years of this story completely from beginning to end.
(maybe I’m the minority that like the story of the leads as well as the main focus.)

We didn’t see the wedding, but the end scene was the two leads and a young child eating breakfast. Still with YG’s mother in the same house.
I think there was a 3 yrs (or 5 yrs) later on the screen as the scene opened…

I’d love to read your thoughts on CS’s soon to be exwife being allowed in the Eagle home, to wonder freely and allowed to be a part of an important & highly personal conversation.
CS didn’t even ask her to leave when she ask if that was the LX chairman.

Also how can you sell a business that someone else owns? Again the CS’s future exwife…

I think HS has misdirected anger. He doesn’t want to admit he likes OB because he made such a big deal about it.
Then his insecurities are heightened because of the vet (well the cute dog first). Instead of supporting OB in her interest of the white fluffy dog, he get jealous of the dog. He does not bend.
I’m not sure what JangSu, GS’s husband would say. But it seems if you know you’re in heaven and you want your spouse to not be alone and be happy, you got to let them move on when they’re ready.
But HS is not ready for her to move on because he thinks he’ll be left alone. Maybe he has abandonment issues.

One key problem is CS’s future exwife being involved and in their house. And NOBODY makes her leave! She stirred the anxiety pot with the brothers that GS & DS were dating because she snuck back in the house and over heard a conversation she wasn’t supposed to be a part of…

Wait, they (the leads) kissed twice, so they can have the romance tag, if they only kissed once then that would be an issue. 🫣🤣

I agree, but many KDramas have rushed endings… like showing people happy after many episodes of stress & sadness is not good.

I’m not sure if they don’t have the full story written so they can pace each episode, but it’s like a surprise to the director.. “what 10 minutes left? Okay show everyone happy!” 🤔

As I think about it more there are two possibilities…

1. GS is not as far along in the falling in love as is DS.
To me he’s 14.5 years further along. That’s how much more time his had to get over the loss and grief of losing his first wife.
I know GS’s mother only focuses on married 10 days, but that doesn’t equal 10 days of importance in her life, humans just don’t stop loving & missing someone the day the leave this world. It took her a long time to find someone she wanted to marry. It took her maybe 20 more years to find her husband than DS to find his wife.
(sorry if that’s too convoluted 😔)

2. I think GS wanted to ease her brother in law into her being in a relationship. Not I met someonI like, I love them & we’re going to get married.
I think she wanted to date, then a couple months later say they fell in love, And then say they want to get married. So everyone could ease in to her new relationship.

Her saying her brothers in law & DS are equally important is questionable.
As her boyfriend that statement would not feel good.
She cares about them but didn’t fall in love with them.
And if her brothers in law hear that they can say to GS, if we’re equally important then don’t start a new relationship yet. 🤯

Also I dislike that adults need approval to get married or the woman needs permission. That’s a bit of inequality right? GS is over 40 that’s definitely old enough to make that decision herself. If she can’t then she’s not ready.. 🤔

So Yeon, CS’s wife, raises my bp and is annoying,
BUT everyone else letting her do whatever the F she wants -
is over there top frustrating to me!!!

DS can just give her a check to go away or make her disappear.

If GS wasn’t upset with CS’s almost exwife that she popped a blood vessel I her head… she would had the bandwidth to not explode at DS. Same with HS, he’s upset with GS and the vet so he walks away again from The hairdresser. 🫤

Though DS should not be micromanaging GS’s life..
If he doesn’t know that she’ll never be a stay at home wife, he’d better accept that begore marriage. 💒

Also how can CS’s exwife sell the brewery she does not own? Especially if it’s in GS’s name.

To be honest the chairman should provide a lawyer to CS to get his divorce approved and get the ex out of their lives ASAP!

I would have thought she’s be stronger in front of them and cry alone or with her mom.
Maybe the character is just worn out from everything that’s happened to her & the brewery?

And while I think she strongly likes and maybe loves DS, she’s not in the right place in her head to be in this relationship, but she likes him and doesn’t want to hurt him or lose him.

I think DS’s style is to push what he wants and what he thinks is best.
GS would have chosen to not tell her brothers in law yet.

I did find it sad that to GS, her selfish brothers-in-law are of equal importance as her relationship with DS. 🤔
