While this was probably the most true to life example of what happens to the victims of cyber bullying, it was heartbreaking to see MiSo’s mother facing reality.
Tomorrow will be worse.
Those the end their lives may no longer have the pain that prompted them to end their lives, but for those left behind the pain is just beginning.

She (Seol Hui) is a very naïve character with strong morals but poor world experience. It’s like her character has never watched a Kdrama.

All of her actions have resulted in further setbacks (or harsher punishments). Not knowing how to move forward is a valid position.

She needs to be honest with MiSo and have an adult conversation that this is going to take longer than she could have known.

And while it would be good to have a father in her life, there’s no guarantee that they could have achieved any more at this point. (Being male doesn’t automatically assure success, well in Kdramas they are skewed that way.🫣)

My only thought is she’s never had to do anything for herself.
Though she didn’t know how to figure out the change for the customer at the cafe.

At that moment sadly I agree. It’s just that violence isn’t supposed to be there answer. I guess she was hysterical at that point.
This is going to take many many episodes to resolve… definitely not fast enough for MiSo to improve quickly.

I think her reaction is “normal” considering the unbelievable way her life has been ruined. And soon her family will have no income… then what?
But mom needs to find that a psychologist fast.

And the rich perpetrator is mad because she’s grounded.

So while most writer’s care about their story the Producers & executives want to increase revenue. And of course the executives win that argument.

And the mil keeps saying she needs to be involved for the children, yes they are his children and her grandchildren, but they are both solidly adults.

It’s not like the mil had to worry about a stepparent mistreating the children.

And I don’t think GS was as ready to be in a relationship as DS.
He’s had 15 years to get ready, she’s had 15 minutes.

Okay not 15 minutes, but not 15 months either.
She was definitely not in the space of thinking of marriage yet - she wasn’t thinking about dating.
So the chairman is full speed ahead while GS is at a likely above idle speed.
But neither needs an older adult supervising their relationship. 🫣🤯😡

I, like yesterday will be very disappointed with DS if he doesn’t respectfully, assertively and unequivocally tell his mil this is the woman he loves and he will marry.

I just finished watching the subbed version. At thethe dinner when DS had to step away for a call the mil told GS, she can date him but she can not marry him. As she is not of the same caliber as her daughter.
Then the mil said not to say anything to DS, that she will soon.

My question is why does GS owe the mil (aka the turd) that courtesy? GS’s priority should be between her and DS. So I hope she tells him, but with that darn respect your elders philosophy it seems a vindictive old woman who’s angry that her dead daughter’s husband is moving forward with his life after 15 years.

Otherwise to me it’s not an escape from reality, but in some ways a reminder.

I saw this title featured on the Amazon Fire tv interface and it seemed interesting.
