Anyway, lol I don't know why, but I'm still hoping for the best for him.

Just finished ep 31 and 32 and I gotta say the story is moving quite nicely. One thing I'm pointing out again that this show does well is how even the minor characters plays a major part to the overall story. I love how they brought back Zhuohua father and how even his minor appearances (as comic relief) adds to the overall plot. We are approaching the climax and everyone is playing their part quite well.

I gotta say though, one thing I like about this show is how LD and Zhuohua communicate and interact. Especially in ep 32. Even though Zhuohua sudden change and decision to support the elimination of the noble system is PISSING ME OFF ( cause as smart as she is, how can she not see it's all a trap set for her??) I love how LD is still supporting her. (Even though he knows she's wrong), he's letting her handle it in her own way, not contraditing her in public, or treating her as if she's a child with no sense. He's not being overbearing with the "I know what's best for you" trope/cliche most C-dramas are fond of doing. Thank God for this!!

I really love their relationship and I think it's one of the best in c-drama land. The stage is set. I can't wait to see how everything plays out!!

Omg tell me about it. First prince is too damn gullible. Like I just don't get it. How have you been to war, seen how treacherous people can be, being mentored by your smart uncle, AND STILL be so gullible??? I guess this is why the emperor didn't name him as crown prince and was waiting for him to "grow up.

I agree with your take. I was surprised when LD was healed so fast, cause it made no sense. I thought his illness would play a major part in the plot (it's basically the plot). So to end it such prematurely makes no sense

For some reason, I still feel like his "cure" is a flase alarm. I don't know why, but a have a feeling it will come back. Cause it's very much part of the plot. I hope the writers don't ruin a good show

Omg episode 29-30 was so good. I was really scared they were going to continue the "noble" idiocy trend when LD left zhuohua cause it's for her own "good" ( many C dramas fall into this trope and ruin what is usually a good show) but I'm really glad they didn't go thag route. And LD and Zhuohua talked it out and are together again.🥰🥰

Zhi Jian acted really recklessly and now his brother is paying for it. I wonder what will happen. I can't wait to see how this all plays out now that they know who the big bad mastermind is. I was scared the story was progressing slow, but now it's moving fast, and I'm really EXCITED for the next episodes.

On a side note, I think the only criticism I have is the makeup on their face. They whiten them to the point that we can't see any emotion on their face (especially when they are sad and crying) as a viewer, I'm not even able to get emotional with them because I
can't really feel (or see) the emotions on their face. SIGH.

I'm actually watching it now. It's so good!! I hope it stays that way till the end

Omg I'm finally watching a dream of splendor now. I can't believe I have been sleeping on this show. Bi can't believe I have been sleeping on how GORGEOUS Chen Xiao is??? Omg those seductive eyes of his, and his smile, his demeanor... SIGH!. I watched him in the ingenious one but didn't realize how sexy he is. Lol okay I'm done thirsting over this man.

Anyway, the story is really good so far. it's so heartwaming. I am enjoying the interactions between the main leads. I love the Sun San Niang character. she's so funny. I'm on episode 14. I can't wait to see how all this plays out

I'm rewatching from the beginning again, and I gotta say (again) this show is made really well. Every character (even minor ones that are on screen for less time) adds to the overall story. They all bring their A game and makes us love or hate them. I can't wait for ep. 27 and 28

One thing that I love, love about this show is how unpretentious the love story between LD and Zhuohua is. What I mean by this is, in most C-dramas, (not all) the romantic couple acts as if hugging, touching, or kissing is not normal. Even when they are together as a couple, they act all shocked when they "mistakenly" touch each other. Lol this always annoys me and feels pretentious
for no reason.

In legend of zhuohua however, LD and Zhuohua interact like normal people who are attracted to each other. Like normal people who are in love and are dating. That carriage scene (when she fell on his lap) was so beautifully done. How zhuohua didn't try to "act" all shy and "modest" She just held unto her man and they kept talking. It was very natural. Their love and interactions is very natural.

I hope more C-dramas follow this, and start realizing it's normal for couples that are dating, to touch. And stop with the over the top, fake "modesty".

Anyway. I CAN'T WAIT FOR TOMORROW!!!

I have been trying to finish The Autumn Ballard for about a year now. But I can't seem to get past them separating. Once the FL left to wander the world, and the ML right hand man got assassinated, I checked out. I know there's not a lot of episodes left after that, but I can't get past this point.

I've restarted this show a couple of times (I love, love the beginning and mid) but I can't seem to get past them separating for no reason.

I'm still a little sad that Feng Shao didn't use his real voice on this drama. I enjoyed it in Story of Ming lan. I think his real voice is so sexy and fun. Lol esp his laugh.

Anyway, I can't wait for us to be in the era where chinese actors don't have to dub their voices anymore

My top Xianxia ever is Eternal Love (nobody can replace Ye hua and Bai Qian in my heart.) Lol I've seen that show so many times that I know many of it's dialogue by heart.

Okay, honest question: I've tried so many times (for about a year now) to watch lost love in times but I can't seem to get past the first 7 or so episodes. Thier love just doesn't feel right to me and I don't seem to be getting the chemistry. I'm disappointed cause I really love William Chan, (esp in Novalan:Pearl Eclipse with Yang Mi) but for some reason, I can't get into this show.

Does it get better? Should I stick it out?

Lol yea. For me, not even Jeremy could save that show. I got tired of hearing Chong'er every 5 secs. And him not doing anything at all. The bad people got away with to many bad things. The writing was horrendous so i stopped watching at like episode 30, and skipped to the last episode.
