Exactly this. Not going to lie though, at the beginning of this show, I actually thought it would be cute if they got together. But as the story progress, I am realizing HRZ is not mature enough to handle HQ. He won't be able to emotionally support her and her decisions. She will always have to be the one to stand up emotionally for both of them. We are already half way through the show and HRZ is still stuck. As a viewer nothing has changed in his story to make me root for him.

The writers didn't really flesh out his story enough for him to compete against the other two MLs. Like take for example the Husband, we all hate him, but he has a story that we want to see how it goes for him, decisions he will make, and outcomes. HRZ doesn't have that in the show.

I finally caught up, (ep 17 & 18) and I gotta say AGAIN, I am loving this show. The storytelling is really amazing. And the attention to details (whether through expressions, actions, props setting) is done really well.

Now, I know a lot of yall are not going to like this, so please don't come at me. BUT HQ and HRZ DOES NOT belong together. There's really no dynamic there. It's just puppy one-sided love on HRZ part. His supposed "love" for her doesn't even make sense. Let's think about this logically, what does he like about her other than she saved him? I think what he's feeling is gratefulness because she's the first person to believe in him, respect and treats him like a human. HRZ took this and tured it into a one-sided love (which isn't bad on it's own) but that doesn't mean they belong together.

HQ sees him as a friend and little brother. She's comfortable around him in that sense, but not as a romantic partner. I'm sorry yall, but there's NO chemistry there. Nothing.

Maybe if his "love" for her was fleshed out more, and not rooted in one sided child love, I might have supported it. But right now, as it stands, IT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE. His actions (acting before thinking) are getting annoying and a tad controlling.

Lol we all are waiting for the reveal. It hasn't happened yet, and we are now on ep 14. I think this synopsis is the book one. Maybe they will update it soon.

Anyways, ignore the synopsis and please keep watching. The show is really good!

Love and Destiny does have an age gap. But it's not that bad once you get used to it. It makes sense for the god of war to look that older. It's more believable than how mancy C-
Dramas have these toung actors play thousands year old god of war and they don't look the part.

You should watch her in Back from the Brink. She's the FL in that one. She's really amazing in that show. That's how I grew to love her as an actress!!

I'm so glad I found this show. The story is amazing, it is well paced, and the exposition is really well done. All the actors are amazing and do a really good job of making us love them or hate them.

Speaking of hate, I really LOATHE the husband. In the beginning, I didn't think he was that bad. Because after all, he was a victim of his wife's numerous plotting. I gave him the benefit of the doubt when he left HQ on their wedding night to go save MY and brought her to his home, when he left HQ to visit her parents alone so he could go save MY again, even when he made MY his maid and they are always making stupid eyes at each other it didn't bother me cause I didn't care for them two. BUT to embarrass HQ (HIS WIFE) in front of everyone like that at the incense banquet, that was just awful. Instead of just divorceing her like she wants, he just keeps her and treats her like a servant( cutting money off). PISSING ME OFF. He wants MY but yet refusing to divorce HQ. He wants to have his cake and eat it too. 🙄

Lol anyway, I'm excited for episode 13 and 14. Can't wait to watch them!!

Oh then you missed out on The Legend of Zhuohua MDL page. It was so positive over there and everyone was so supportive and courteous. Lol unlike the My Journey To You MDL page. Lol it was a war zone over there 😩

Anyways, I really like ZYX. She might not be the top actress, but she holds her own and bring charisma. Lol she makes me laugh. I have watched all her funny romance dramas on VIKI. She shines in that. When I started watching C-dramas, I was surprised a lot of people don't like her.

I haven't started watching this show yet, is it good?

I finished watching this yesterday. I was feeling so nostalgic afterward that I spent the whole day listenning to the OST on youtube. My favorite song is "Like Flowers Like Moon." That's the song that was played when Zhuohua was getting ready for her wedding. I loved that we didn't get a rushed ending. it was fully developed and fleshed out. Nothing was left implied. We get to see it all and know the outcome. I love the running joke of the great LD being a kept man out of wedlock.

Zhou Yi Ran (First Prince/Chen) is such a great actor because even though I know it was a plan between him and LD, I couldn't help but be angry at him for his actions. lol He really ACTED and embodied the "weak" and "rash" emperor. and it was very convincing because of how well his character was set up since the beginning of the show. In the beginning we know that he was deemed rash and judgemental, and gullible, that's why the emperor was waiting for him to "grow up" before handing him the throne. So in these last episodes (even though he was putting on a show with LD) as viewers, we couldn't help wondering if it was really true, that he reverted back to his old self (lol I remeber a bunch of us were on here complaining. lol he pissed me off so bad). GREAT ACTING.

Is anyone here watching wrong carriage right groom? If so, how is it? Is it any good?

Also, does anyone know the name of the actor who plays Zhimo on Legend of zhuohua?

Omg I thought I was the only one. I keep fast forwarding SJH scenes with the princess. It makes no sense to me so I just skip, cause I know how it will end.

About first prince, I still feel like he's in a plan with LD to draw out princess Roujia (highly hoping) but I'm kind of loosing faith when he had asked SJH if it's good to pursue someone that's already taken...😩

I get where you are coming from. But I don't think the drama is portraying unrealistic female power. If you remember, this kingdom pnce had a female emperor. And then females were allowed to take the imperial exam. Princess Roujia character is realistic because she portrays herself as the "good " guy while gaining power and support behind closed door. The people see her as a goddess. And there is already precedent for a female emperor, so it's not far fetched for her to want the throne.

I hope you give it another go and watch the episodes you missed!

Yes it is!!! The romance in this is VERY DIFFERENT from many other C-dramas. The open communication and trust between the ML and FL is very beautiful to watch. And the overall story is really interesting. Every actor here is acting and doing a great job (even the minor characters) it all adds up
