Episode 29 was good. Some characters got the ending they wanted, others not so much. Those that didn't get what they wanted just accepted fate. I'm glad HQ finally got the peaceful life she's been fighting for.

I gotta say, the actor (Wang Xing Yue) who plays ZXW is quite IMPRESSIVE. For the amount of screen time that he has (NOT MUCH) he really leaves a lasting impression on every scene he's in. He has a commanding presence that makes you just sit up and take notice. I think another actor would have been lost in the sauce with how little screen time ZXW role got. But Wang Xing Yue OWNED the role and pulled it off perfectly and made us love his role. I look forward to seeing his growth in C-Ent.

Finally, our ZXW have let go of his love for HQ. He's finally realized his obsession is what pushed her away and to love someone is to set them free. I'm so proud of him for not taking that parting gift. That's when I knew for sure he has moved on.

I can't wait to see how everything plays out in the last episode tomorrow!

Based on his actions, I don't think that parting gift will have any effects on him anymore. It's good that he knows she loved him back, but I'm glad he left the gift there and didn't take it. That means he's finally over her

That's what I think too. He gets too much screen time, it's ridiculous. It wouldn't be so bad if his character added to the story. But imo he really adds NOTHING to the story other than been infatuated with HQ. They didn't develop his character well but still give him so much screen time. That's why I always skip his scenes cause I know they won't matter much. 🤷🏿‍♀️

When she lost her baby, she told ML to demote her to commoner and send her to the side house cause she didn't want to see or deal with him. He sent here there.

But while she was there for two years she was planning and working on her comeback/revenge on those who made her lose her baby.

Please don't stop watching. I think the story is just starting. I think everything that's happened up until now is setting up the next arc for our FL to come into her own. Up until now, we've only seen the FL react to things thrown at her, by other people. But now, I think we are about to see her in her power once she comes back. She might even go against the ML cause you know Prince An (her father-in-law) listens to her

This show is really good so far. I am enjoying all the characters (even the evil ones) cause they all play their roles so good. The storytelling is fast-paced and not boring even though it's palace/harem. All characters are given good screen time and their motivations are explored and everything is connected. I really like the FL character!

I think people watching this needs to keep in mind that these characters are a product of their time. Watch the show through the eyes of that time and not our modern standards. If you do, then you will enjoy it.

The last two episodes (17 &18) were really good. I wasn't expecting THAT outcome from what happened to FL. And though I was surprised by her decision, I respect it cause everyone deals with grief differently. I can't wait for her comeback and see how she will deal with that new concubine!

I don't know yall, but episode 28 was very disappointing. Since this drama started, this is the first time I have been disappointed by it. I'm so confused as to why they will have a filler episode this late in the game??? A lot of insignificant things happened and the plot didn't move forward.

On one hand, I get it, they are trying to wrap up the dream world. But did we really needed to see/know HRZ come to fight ZXW every month for the last two years?? Did we really needed to see HQ living her boring life? Did we need to see the maid explained what happened to them (after HQ dad was arrested) as if we didn't already know this in previous episode?? Such a waste of time.

Ep 27 finished on such a high note that I thought we were done with the dream world and now in real life. I was excited for what to come. But they gave us this let down of an episode.

Episode 28 should not have been a skip worthy episode, but unfortunately it is. 😩

Lol I know. But according to those who have read the novel, she ended up with HRZ in the novel. I hope that's not true for the show.

Blooming Days is airing right now. It's a palace/Harem drama/romance. Though not your typical "pure" idol romance. If you are into palace/harem dramas, this is a good watch

Just caught up to ep 26 and 27. Ep 27 was really emotional and I cried when HQ father was crying. The acting of the story is still good. All the actors are still doing a good job of portraying their characters. Lol they make us love them, hate them, disappoint us, make us happy, sad, angry, make us cheer for them, etc... this is how well all characters (even minor servant roles) are executed!

One thing that made ep 27 really good to me is that ZXW finally got to understand/feel how his "I'm doing this for your own good" stance was making HQ feel. I really loved that moment in the show btw him and his mother when the realization hit him. That scene was very poignant.

On a different note, these last two episodes were hard for me to watch. It was frustrating how much miscommunication was present. I love my girl HQ and will always support her decisions but damn she is UNRELENTING. Like girl can you give an inch, just a little bit??? Lol.

Though I'm disappointed in her (just a little bit) I understand why she's the way she is. But she still comes off as a hypocrite because in actuality, she has a cheat code to life (went back in time). Before then, she was just like everyone else, selfish and mean. So I need my girl to get off her moral high ground and calm down.

The FL and ML are two unrelenting people. HQ is not willing to give into ZXW and see that he loves her, meanwhile ZXW is not willing to let HQ go and see he can't control her. Lol they are both so frustrating. But I still love them nonetheless.

On side note, where did HRZ get off thinking he can attack ZXW with no consequences? Lol this proves my point yet again on why he can't be with HQ. HRZ is too emotionally immature.

At this point in the story, I've stopped trying to guess how it will all end. I've gone from wishing she will be with ZXW, to wishing she will end alone (cause didn't think any of the men deserved her) to now just waiting for everything to play out. I seriously have no idea how all this will end.

Before starting this show, I saw a lot of people on here complaining about the ML looks, the age difference (in the show), the many concubines etc etc. I almost didn't watch because of this. But then I decided to give it a try and see for myself. I'M GLAD I DID!

This is an amazing drama that deals with palace intrigue and harem fighting. It's quite interesting how all the characters are portrayed and the decisions they make and the consequences of it all. Even the evil characters have a reason for doing what they do, not just because they evil for evil sake. Though I hate concubine Yao, I can see why she does what she does. Props to the writers! So far, nobody is overacting and everything is going seamlessly. Props to the director.

Some on here are saying the ML and FL don't have chemistry. I respectfully disagree. The leads definitely have chemistry. This is not a "pure" romance story so people can't project their fantasies on it, so they are turned off. I think most of you are biased because the ML is not your ideal young idol ML and there's no unnecessary filter on him to make him look otherworldly. So I think yalls harsh judgements is unfair to him.

I read some comments on here saying the story is too fast paced and there's no time to process. I respectfully disagree. I think it's moving at the right pace. If it was any slower, it will be boring. If yall are really paying attention, you will notice from episode 6 to the current ep 12 we are still dealing with the death of the son. Every scheme, plan and actions taken were all to oust concubine Yao for her crime. Everything that you think that happened "too fast" or not given too much attention was all in the plan to deal with that woman. Didn't you guys notice, even the emperor had a plan. It all adds up. So while it may seem things are moving too fast, it's actually slowed down in the sense that every reaction was because of that one incident. So, the pacing is quite well.

I think the first arc is over for now. (we might come back to it because the main wife is using the death of her son to guilt ML). Episode 14 just brought us into a new one. Now lets wait and see how all the other concubines are going to deal with the FL pregnancy. And how that new scheming concubine will be dealt
with.

I'm excited to see how all this plays out and how the ML and FL end up!!

To start off, I think ep 25 is my favorite (top) episode so far. The storytelling (the mother/daughter/ father relationship) is just so good, and the overall story is fast paced and told so well and beautifully. Again, props to the writers!! This episode is really emotional and if it wasn't done well, it would not have had the impact it had. All the actors brought their A-game and left us with lots of emotions.

Again, Zhou Ye really owned this role. HQ is a really bad azz character. The way Zhou Ye executes and brings this character to life is something to be ADMIRED. I was at the edge of my seat when she was choking Meng, frantically waiting for what she was going to do next... This is how well this character is done. Props to Zhou Ye!

Now to the show. I'm scared we are going to get a rushed ending. The drama is almost over (5 episodes left) and we are still in her dream. I was really looking forward to her and ZXW interactions outside of the dream. Let us see him love her, and let us see her accept or decline his love in real time. I am really hoping. But at this rate...

I think it's because transmigrated is banned in China, so they do "back in time" to get past the censorship.

Also, the synopsis on here is the one of the actual book the show is based on. I think MDL need to update the synopsis since the show is different.

HRZ is 16. He is still a child. Which is the main reason why I don't think he can handle HQ. I agree with you, I too feel like he's going to be a problem cause he can't regulate his emotions.

As for ZXW, I think if he hadn't acted so irrationally, and waited patiently for HQ, she was going to come to him willingly. It's so sad all around cause none of us saw this twist coming. Lol good job to the writers!

Also, can I please know the other drama other than BRTB is Zhou Ye in, so I can go watch it?

Lol at this point, I'm against her ending up with any of them. Truth be told, none of them really deserve her. ZXW seems to always put his family first, and HRZ is too immature emotionally for her.

This is the first time I've felt like this in a drama, where I just want the female to be alone and enjoy her life in peace.

Just caught up to ep 24. Again, the storytelling is progressing quite nicely. A little slow on some areas, but even the insignificant scenes adds to the main plot and theme. So the writers did a good job on that.

I gotta say, I knew there was a reason I immediately liked Zhou Ye (FL) in BRTB. She's such an amazing actor and she's carrying this whole show. Her acting is flawless (from expressions, to emotions, to the way she moves and does things) it's all very believable for her character. Lol I was in awe when she was interrogating the Jr. Lord Wu and she told him she might cut off his tongue, or his fingers, or his eyes... she calmly delivered that scene (no over acting) that I totally believed/ was actually waiting for her to do just that. And when she was talking to MY, I was really happy to see her put MY in her place. She's executing HQ quite perfectly. I can't wait to see her grow in C-ent!!

Now to the love part. ZXW really disappointed me for how he handled everything, but I understand. His only major wrong is in him not disclosing who killed HQ brother (yet) because of his position. He's in a tight spot because no matter how much he loves HQ, he has to think about his family first, so I understand. Him going after HRZ, while petty, it's understandable. Although HRZ had a hard life and was abused, he did kill someone afterall. I don't think he deserves punishment, but people (ZXW) become irrational when love is involved.

Lol I know I have said this before and might make some of you upset by saying this again, but HRZ and HQ DOES NOT BELONG TOGETHER. HRZ does not have the emotional capacity to handle HQ. He's like a child with unresolved feelings of love. The love he never got from the people around him, he's looking for it from HQ because she treated him like human. I still don't get any chemistry there. Sorry🤷🏿‍♀️

HQ have been through so much and has no one to trust and really be there for her like that. At this point I think she should end up alone. My girl needs to REST.

Lol okay so, a part of me is actually hoping she doesn't take his hand. (Yet) she shouldn't trust him that easily. He needs to fight for her love and win her trust.
