WHY what will happen to her ????
I watched a video saying she gets dethroned and placed in the cold palace or something and eventually died. Could be wrong and it may not follow the novel

The last sentence that consort said in ep 30 is translated to ""ignore their attempts" to demean or divide your bride". But in Mandarin she said in literal translation as "fart"=fang pi, which nobles and any one wouldn't say that, at least not in public and definitely not in front of the King and Queen, since it's unlady like and uncultured. But consort doesn't give a damn, and I like that she stays true to herself. She says what she wants without regard, and I think that's one of the reasons why King admires her.

Just saw esp 30 and love consort Yue’s speech. This show has a great ensemble cast and the writers were on point.
I like her personality and character. She's bold and direct enough to say what's in her heart. I think both the consort and the queen are good people, but with vastly different personalities. I hope she stays good to the end. As for the queen, I feel bad for her as to what is to come.

Although lby has an unfortunate past/childhood...he's still raised with many people doting him and they are all powerful people: king, queen, consort, old Duke etc. They all saw him grow up and wish him happiness. It's very heartwarming to me.

7yr gap is fine. But it's pedophile if they start a relationship at 13yrs old for her. Maybe when shes 18 at least

I think it's fucked up and selfish to destroy a woman's life (vice versa) if the husband is gay and just wants to find a protective shield to hide his secret. It's worse than cheating. He shouldn't have ruined a woman's life like this. I find him repulsive.

He is also clinging his fists when he stands.
Hmm, maybe just standing with hands relaxed is awksward looking as a soldier???? No idea. Maybe Wulei is trying to make lby look tough in doing so? I think this is his first military character? I don't count TLB bc his character is a bit different since culturally his character in TLB is born in the greens and has more freedom vs born in the capital/city.

For me the way he walks sometime. It sort of a bit awkward specially in long shots. His posture and gait for me…
yes, awk and rigid. He's still so young but with his acting abilities already...he definitely has potential to be even greater. He's far succeeded, in terms of acting abilities, more than actors a decade older than him. He just needs to hone down some minor details and it'll improve bounds. This boy will go far in life and career.

Very very well explained. I thought same too but people were like she is going to loose her identity, this is…
Our poor boy is definitely trying. I feel like CSS still doesn't know what she wants in a man for herself. She's not grown in a loving environment and isn't exposed to what loving couples should be like. Hence why I think her 4th engagement is truly the right timing for her. She's grown, matured and understood herself better then.

****Ignore my rant, I just wanted to express myself****

So CSS doesn't like that LBY is "controlling" or "guiding/teaching/regulating" her. I don't know what's the proper term since I know in chinese/mandarin it's "guan". Some viewers, including CSS, may not like that LBY is "controlling/regulating" CSS bc they think he's trying to change her nature to fit him. I think that's a grey area. Bc in Chinese culture, "guan" is a form of doting or love as it means the person takes time to teach and care about the other. He didn't want CSS to eat her biscuit bc it was late and he didn't want her to have indigestion. There's two types of doting parents and people like to do. The former, which is LBY's style and then there's Luo's style which is to please and heed everything that CSS wants. I don't think LBY was wrong in doing it. I definitely think CSS' mom is wrong in showing how she cares, even though she's still doing it out of love.

In, Go Ahead, fl has two non blooded brothers. The older one "guan"/regulates her a lot such as not allowing her to eat sweets at night bc of her bad oral hygiene...she gets toothaches a lot. While her younger bro caters to her every whim. Even their careers tells a lot about their relationships. Older bro is a dentist, who regulates her on her eating too much sweets and unhealthy things, while younger bro is a baker who likes to bake pastries for fl bc she likes sweets. There's a balance...if she lacks proper guidance and is only doted then she will become astray in some ways since if she complains or whines she'll get her ways. But if she's always being controlled or regulated then she loses her own autonomy and freedom (I'm referring this in general now). When fl, in Go Ahead, whined to older bro she wanted to eat ice cream at night, he said no bc it's too late, but he did it in a loving gesture such as rubbing her head and saying it in a soft tone with a smile. While in LLTG, LBY said it in a monotone voice and stoic face. Perhaps, he just needs to find a better way to communicate with CSS so that CSS isn't offended, but understand why he said what he said. I get where LBY is coming from, he deosn't know how to express himself and he's trying. If we had a mix/balance of Luo's cuteness/softness with LBY's strict regulations... I think CSS will be more accepting.

You know for the banquet scene am I the only one who felt that LBY went extra hard and savage not only to “protect”…
Also big bro Luo's wife secretly helping CSS by just saying she left her cloak in his carriage. Just slight implications and lby gets it. That's one of the reasons why I enjoy chinese period dramas.

I'm just finishing ep 25 and sigh what a breath of fresh crip air in this hot humid night. Most period dramas have ladies and gents following proper social norms, there's things they can and can't say, things they should and shouldn't do. Sometimes it can get oppressive, but LBY doesn't give a shit. He does what he wants and he doesn't care about offending anyone.Usually that that would seem egotistical and selfish to other characters in different plots/dramas, but this seems to work for LBY. When he talked back at that girl, I thoroughly enjoyed it. He's calling her out and defaming her without a care.

There's one small critique I would like Wulei to improve and it's his posture or stance. It was most evident in the beginning of ep 25 when he was talking to his "father". His arm was placed way at the back like arched wings with his back rigid straight. I know he's does this bc of his military strict background, but I think he went a bit overboard. Hopefully, after more experience he'll improve on that. If ya'll think I'm trolling him...I'm not. He's a sweet kid, but that's how I watch dramas, I analyze.
