Same! I thought what she did was insensitive. I know she's impatient and worried that UK is not being diligent and becoming defiant towards her. But what she did to him was low. I felt hurt for UK. But, after losing so many fights and still lost using Tensu, I think he has come to the realization that he needs to work harder and that it was pure luck that he won against crown prince. Using Tensu alone is not enough to win against a regular mage, let alone one of more power.

There's a lot of similarities with The Destiny of White Snake and AOL. So far, the recent eps aren't very original. I've come to accept and realize that most xianxa dramas have very similar plots...I feel like maybe that's why I've started to lose interest. I'm just skipping the boring parts when I watch, I particularly enjoy cy as white hair. It may get more interesting as they will be going through their trials.

I just saw Dambi trending regards to this drama. So she is replacing crystal for the 2nd fl role. Didn't someone in this comment say she's responded on a live stream or wb comment that she's not taking the role......Well I think she lied.

I didn't get the idea, it's based on the novel. There's a user here that is reading the latter half of the novel and she told me. Also on wb basically every viewer of the drama knows since there's a lot of videos of it. When you go on wb there's a lot of spoilers. It's impossible not to be spoiled on wb. It's not a mystery or secret that lby is huo general's son. If you scrolled down this page i bet there's lots of comments that mentioned this. Also lby's "mom" is pretending to be crazy. You can tell with her acting. She lets it slip a couple times

Hmmm, I don't think you fully comprehend what I was pointing out. I was mentioning that this hate/distate for his "father" is not just bc his "father" forsakened his "mom". but bc he may have already knew from the beginning he's the biological son of Huo general, aka his "uncle", and he may already have a clue as to who brought the demise of his Huo family.

In ep 24 it was mentioned lby's "dad" remarried when his first wife and son were missing. I think that is justifiable to remarry when he presumed his wife to be dead. He's a widower at that time when everyone presumed his first wife to be dead, for 2 years. When he remarried, lby and his "mom" reappeared. This has nothing to do with incest, so idk where you got the idea from. Anyways, from this logic and societal norm, lby should not hate his "dad" to this degree. So I am thinking he already know the big secret of his real identity but he doesn't reveal it bc he need to exact revenge. meaning he has another reason to hate his "dad" other than his "dad" forsaken his "mom".

What appears on the surface is that Huo general is lby's uncle, but actuality Huo is his biological dad. His aunt switched her son or her son was already dead so she switched her son's identity to save lby. You see in trailers that lby does a big massacre before his wedding with css. the people he massacred was Ling household, aka his "father".

I didn't finish pillow book, it was too long and sometimes boring. I finished Peach Blossom and I thought it was good, the cp I totally got into, Marc is an amazing actor.

I thought he was closer to crown prince too since crown prince seems so nice and he's born from queen. But someone said on the novel 3rd prince and lby are secretly good pals. They just pretend not to be close. So im confused since i thought queen treats lby like a son. Bc if lby supports 3rd prince then that means he supports the concubine not the queen.

In ep 24 they mentioned that his "father" remarried another bc his legal wife, lby's aunt, went missing for 2 years. So they all presumed she and the boy was dead during the war. She miraculously came back unexpected and so the aunt and nee wife would be same status wife. The rest i didnt understand 100% since i didnt use eng sub.

I don't really think it spoils much. I haven't mention anything new. Im just using logic to dicipher this based on his behavior. Also, they showed scenes of him as a kid during the war where Huo family was slaughtered. I would think heold enough to rmb who is his parents unless he selective amnesia bc of trauma

I always assumed lby thought Ling guy is his father, but I think he already knew from the very beginning that Huo is his biological father. That's why he's so set and stubborn on revenge. I believe he wanted to find who the real culprint is or maybe he needed evidence hence why he didn't kill Ling. Cuz it doesn't make sense to hate the "father" so much just bc he married another and forsakened his "mom"/aunt

So I watched a video on wb explaining the situation in ep 21 or 22 (don't rmb which ep). It's when CSS went to explore the temple and found out 2 msytery guys speaking about dethroning the crown prince. Well turns out lby was the 3rd guy...there's a total of 3 guys, not 2, during that discussion. lby came down to kill the person that listened in on the secret but when he found out it was css he switched and pretended to save her. I questioned how he would have her pendant if he came up from the bottom of the stairs...he wouldn't have seen the pendant since css dropped it before she came all the way down and met lby. So, lyb came down the stairs and saw her pandent and picked it up. This is good indicator that he was one of the people discussing about the crown prince.

Ep 23 is was cute and funny. Lby doing everything he can to intertwine his relationship with css and to mske her stay at his manor and then these 3 burgers appear and ruin everything.

Did snyine notice when css said lby's manor is too solemn and no single ladies/maids. Lby then said you are enough

I'm slightly interested since cy and yz are good with angsty xianxa dramas.

A total of 50+ eps. It tends to drag later on with too much filler eps. I hope this one won't have as much.

haha, a good filler. Might just watch it until lltg airs.

While waiting for next week to come is anyone watching immortal samsara (yz and cy). I tend to watch the first half then slowly drop the drama with xianxa even tho i keep telling myself i like xianxa haha. For those that have watched is it good??
