tmr=tomorrow. So 7 is joining a mini series, similar to her propaganda drama which was only a 30min ep. She's just going to film a few days and it's rumored to be with the guy that played the king in yanxi palace. She went to the airport not long ago to fly to the filming site. As for her other drama, it's still unknown, but rumor to be Pearl and starting next month, ml still unknown

But i checked and xk finished his drama in June so he could be a possibility! I hope that's true. No idea. None of her fans even knew until her schedule was updated/posted on wb. We are all in the dark and all in surprise and disbelief. 7 is really too low key and quiet about this. I was talking to somone and we both hoped she would take 2 weeks break and then join a new drama. But it was just our wishful thinking. I thought she would join in august. That's why she was quite and didnt join any activities. She was resting and prepping for next drama

Yes, I do believe she also has this sense of carefulness around him. He isn't the most easiest person to get close or talk to. He can come off as cold and stand off ish, so I won't say that's not one of the reason why she rejected his cape. But there's a lot of possibilities other than the most obvious one.

I wish there was an audio book. Usually once the drama airs and it becomes successful there will be an audio book but it costs money. that's no problem, the only issue is that I have no way to understand how to pay or make a membership since it's a Chinese site.

I feel like, unless it's certain cultures, married couples don't live with their uncles, aunts, grandparents, cousins etc. Parents maybe.

I personally don't think LY is smart enough to be appointed as a magistrate in another city, like css' 3rd uncle. It's wishful thinking on his part. But, yes, he's adorkable and is really like a puppy listening to css' every demand. I think it may be a fresh of breath air from his previous fiance, that's why he's also so enormed with CSS.

There was this one scene, in CSS's room where both LY and her were reading those romance books and she put her arm around him. There's 2 interpretations from that action, in my perspective. 1. This movement is more towards friendship. I don't see anything romantic about it, it's more like bonding and comaraderie. They both have similar goals and commonalities, like how most friendships starts off. 2. This arm action is definitely crossing the line between properly mannered lady of that period and the culture. We all know men and women are to not be too close or touch each other, as it's not proper, unless married or engaged. CSS understands this concept, but she tends to use these formalities towards LBY bc she sees him as a man, not as a friend or brother. A man that can be a prospective husband or lover. While LY is like a friend or "brother" to her, so she basically forgoes all these formalities.

I feel like she didn't want to accept his cape bc she didn't want anything to do with him. She isn't fond of him bc she thought the 2nd time they met he was bad talking about her to her parents. And the bridge thing as well. But, yes I quite enjoyed when he deliberately made sure her parents knew they have already crossed the line of what proper lady and gentleman shouldn't do.

There's a person here, I forgot the name sadly, that was skimming the latter half of the novel. She told me this in detail (very nice of her) as well as on wb there's a lot of videos about it too. It's an open secret. Once you go on wb, there's no way not to spoil.

I gave it a shot bc of LYF, but it got boring for me. She is ofc classy and so graceful and the dancing is great. But plot wise it got draggy and I didn't get the giddy gushy feeling for the leads. lltg, on the other hand I can't wait for the leads to get together. I want to see another side of llby

Yes, age, and also bc she's just not exposed to what liking someone in a romantic way is. I was a teen once and I knew I had a crush on a boy bc I liked him, no matter how fickled that crush was. We get exposure, from seeing how our parents interact, our parents' teachings, novels and media, friends etc. But CSS has 0 exposure since reading those types of scripts are forbidden and she was away from her parents, as a baby, and no one was there to love her. She never received love, so the first chance a boy treats her nicely she'll agree to marry him.

Yes, but in part 2 of this drama, after all the fiasco is over, he's basically a lone wolf so there's no family to interfere or cause trouble.

In these historical periods, when a female is marrying a husband, she's marrying the whole family. So it's not just the husband that should be a match for her but also his family members. I agree with Css' mom that Luo's family isn't a match for CSS.
