I like that ml gradually likes fl. It's a slow burn. I'd say skip the 2nd lead couple, they arr boring and not really important. It's a bit draggy, but overall not bad.

Affection perhaps in the last few eps of this drama. If you read the comments here most want to slap ml and some rather have fl stay single. You can try Under the Power, script/plot/cgi is mediocre at best but onscreen chemistry between the leads is on fire. It's really what carried the drama the whole way through and what got me watching the drama to the end. There's an english translated novel of Road to Home online, it's a quick read and I enjoyed it a lot, hence why I'm excited for the drama. it's definitely a bit of angst before sweet romance, but I feel like it makes the leads appreciate and treasure their love and find gratefulness. If you have watched My Sunshine, the mood reminds me a bit of it. I've watched the promotional video and it gives off a late 90s-early 00's vibe of kdrama like Winter Sonata.

I just reread the synopsis, after reading your comment, and I find the synopsis to be spot on about the drama. It basically got the whole gist of the drama. The synopsis doesn't really hint on anything about romance. It blatantly said fl wanted to be an investment director, which is really the main plot of this drama. Both ml and fl did dad personal growths and they did learn from each other. There's not much ups and downs in this drama, and definitely minimal on romance. Seven Tan doesn't take on romcoms anymore, she wants to change her image/career route, which I believe she's on the right track and doing pretty well. This may not be the drama for you, but defiinitely look out for Road to Home next year as it's a 100% romance based novel/drama by author MBFB, who is also the script writer for the drama. So I am pretty rest assured she will do her novel justice. Also, I find the ml in Road to Home more handsome than Kenny (no offence boy), so I am definitely much more excited for this particular drama.

not much romance. lots of banter between the leads, which I find the dialogue to be refreshing at times. Romance near the end of the drama.

I see that it's removed, that's good. Some were complaining that there's next to none of the romance when mdl tagged this drama as romance. I believe some viewers wrote to the admin to remove the romance tag. I guess it mislead some viewers and they were mad so they didn't like the drama. It's a self growth drama. Romance isn't the main priority in this.

Honestly i dont think 7 would be in a support role in YZ's drama. 7 is working her way up and her status, in terms of scripts, is pretty good now. Nothing wrong with yz ofc. I'm just saying the only way she would be a support is maybe an S+ production like SSS for e.g. also 7 and yz are rumored to be nominated/competing for goddess award, so fan war will happen. I dont see them collabing anytime soon with the golden eagle shit. It always causes riots and trolling

The only rumor I've seen, regardig Seven anyways, is the possible collab with Li Yifeng or these two other period dramas, one is a huge fl drama and another is like first female official (rumored with either Allen or Steven). I haven't heard any of Seven being in this drama except on yt once in a while. None on wb. I'm not sure about yz since she's currently filming another period for now. Can I ask where you are seeing this rumor?
