Please go look at the character map uploaded in the gallery! BZ has no romantic connection with XY, I think he…
I think initially she did like xy genuinely. It's the gradual creeping of jealousy that prob caused her to burst. I also think there's a Chinese cultural aspect placed in. I read a Chinese comment that mentioned the significance of Peony in China. Peony is a top tier flower and many admire them. There's even a poem which idrm anymore. But, anyways, Dali is a Peony so innately she feels like she should be enamoured by others. But, seems like all the attention went to xy.
Honestly, I thought her character was a bit annoying, so good riddance. I hope she doesn't come crawling back.
I actually explained it in this discussion, feel free to scroll down to find out. There were already hints of her friendship dynamic with luoluo (the pig demon). She was controlling and in a way suprior to luoluo, e.g., in the first couple eps when she and luoluo first met xy. Luoluo was only able to eat once she allowed, also later on she asked luoluo who he liked better:her or xy. That already indicated some sort of competition internally. There's more hints.
Dali Dali, made me so mad. I did have to fast forward and skip a bit at a time for eps 15-17 cause I had enough…
I should've known she was the ghost when one of the girls mentioned they haven't seen her before. But, I didn't think much of it since it's 100 girls, and she's so timid so I thought she was just background, and it was just to highlight xy being kind
bc 2ml is focused on demon hunting and setting free his sister's soul. He protects and spoils fl like a sister. He's basically being a brother vicariously through fl. This also allows 2ml to have a more developed character and his own plot line, insead of focusing on vying for fl's attention or fighting ml for fl's love. But, I do see the chemistry between them. There was a hashtag trending on wb that tsy (the fl) can't leave men in brocade uniform. it's also referencing her previous work, Under the Power where ml is a brocade officer.
I'm very pleased with the background music so far, it's pretty and flows along with the story rather than distract…
The background sound/music right? not OST? Bc I was telling my other group that I'm impressed with the choice of the background sounds like that chinese instrument (like a trumphet of some sort, sorry Idk what it's called). But I like that sound bc it provide a good amount of drama to the scene. I'm glad it's not just me that noticed the background sounds they use for this drama.
I was thinking what he's spouting about. Now I undersand, I truly do :'(
