I just saw the kissing scene in the rain. Omg. It was so hot and passionate! And I thought no one can win agasint swl's kissing scene with tsy. I was wrong. But both guys give different feels. I've just never seen such a passionate rough kissing scene for tsy. I'm so excited

I can't agree more!!! I want one where JJ reciprocated just as passionately as LX does. They only had 4 kiss scenes, and JJ's one was more of a peck. They were interrupted way too often, 3 too many. I was soo frustrated.

The main CP has no misunderstandings. If it did, it's resolved just as quickly as it happened. I think it's the most solid relationship with the least conflict between the CP. There a bunch of "A likes B, B likes C, C likes D, D likes A" kinda thing. BUT, it's resolved just as easily, this drama doesn't drag on romance. Which I actually like, since romance isn't the main thing of this drama.

Actually, if you pay particular attention to certain areas of the drama, LX's dead sister did play a significantly important role for LX's personality and his decision to go to Singapore. LX always thought he was the cause of his sister's death, he lived his life in silent guilt and remorse. The scene where he and his dad were having hotpot and LX mentioned whether his sister's lack of appearance in his dreams meant that his sister forgave him. This showed that he constantly had nightmares, of the event where his sister chocked to death, throughout the years...this meant that he never forgave himself and he lived in guilt. He decided to move and take care of his mother was bc he wanted to repent for his guilt of causing his sister's death. Not only that, his horrible uncle accused him of killing his sister as well. I think that intensified his guilt and remorse, thus I think that's what really made his decision to leave JJ to Singapore. It's also the death of his sister, that caused him to have to closed off personality since young. Since if it wasn't the death of his sister, his family, especially his mom, wouldn't have gone such a dreadful turn. Her mom turned mental and psycho which affects LX obviously as we can see in the drama.

As for JJ's mom, it was only mentioned briefly from time to time, but we can see that bc of the loss of JJ's mom, Li dad doubled his love for JJ and bc of that JJ lived a carefree, splendid childhood. Each person grieves loss a different way, JJ never spoke openly about her mom bc she didn't want her dad to feel sad. It was mentioned in earlier eps when little JJ showed little LX the pictures and clothes that Li dad still kept. Also in ep one, where JJ was drawing on the ground, if you look closely it's a picture of her PREGNANT mom and herself. It meant that JJ missed her mom. I think JJ was able to live a carefree life bc she was loved by the four men in her life. She was able to overcome her sorrow bc of the profound love and attention she received, while LX lacked love. The real attention and love he received was from JJ, thus bc of JJ, LX didn't totally sink down to the pit of abyss. He was broken then, but bc of JJ his didn't break entirely. However, that's a different story after he left Singapore.

I heard Seven Tan is in this drams too. I hope she is partnered eith Bai jing ting

In so glad you liked it!! I love LX's character. He's so complex and JJ is a selfless adorsble angel. I just love the small details in this drama. Like the scene where LX, JJ, and ZQ sat in a taxi and JJ was holding both their hands. It was the scene after ZQ confronted his mom at her spa salon. You can see she holds their hands differently , it shows the different relstionship she has with the boys (bf and bro) and what each boy needs. Like the way JJ holds ZQ's hands is to give him warmth

Nope, their relationship is pretty solid, surprisingly given his mother. I would actually love a break up to spice things up and see how he courts her or wins her back.

ZQ dotes on JJ, and JJ understands LX the most, but it's LX that understands ZQ the most. Perhaps it's because LX and ZQ have similar experience where both their mom's abandoned them in some way or perhaps it's bc LX is more observant. There are many times that LX indirectly consoled ZQ. LX may not show it openly but his actions speaks louder than words.

Just watch! There's barely a love triangle. The love triangle lasted for 3 eps and it dissolved or resolved just as quickly as it happened. Most hated the idea that there was a love triangle so they stopped watching or never even bothered giving it a chance. But, they really missed out bc it's such a great drama with so much depth. This drama has a lot of details, that a lot of dramas lack. Other dramas these days have a lot of loop holes, but for this one, if you really really pay attention and think then this drama actually makes a lot of sense. The director put a lot of details in the background of the drama, like photos, drawings, even drawings on the towels, and shoes!! These tiny details that we all miss when first watching it, thus I rewatched certain eps at least 3x and watched other vids of people analyzing the characters and small details of the drama. I'm always shocked at what I find.

I really really like the main CP! It's so different than other idol romcoms (I must emphasize this drama isn't a idol romcom, but it does have some sweet romantic scenes in it...to lighten the mood of the drama I guess). What I mean by different is that the cp are really childhood sweethearts that grew up together, so they understand and are familiar with each other, unlike the typical romcoms where cp meet/clash and fall in love within weeks of knowing each other-It's unrealistic. But, I find Go Ahead's cp to be the most natural, they behave very natural and comfortable with each other bc they started out as family, and even if they are together romantically they are still a family. Don't let a love triangle stop you from watching this drama, bc this drama doesn't focus on romantic love but familial love and the different types of dysfunctional families and their affects on their kids from adolescents to adulthood. I usually don't go for these types of family centered dramas since I find it boring, but the acting is phenomenal, never a dull moment. It's a roller coaster of emotions, I'm smiling and laughing one moment and then the next scene I'm heartbroken and crying. I've never experienced watching a drama like this.
