it's open ending so believe what makes you feel best. From the videos I saw they were glowing and then disappeared in to thin air so that made me think they died and disappeared on earth, no longer exisiting. Also, his hand, in the end, is not missing his 3 fingers anymore.

Both leads died in the novel and seems like the drama they also implied they died. I read a comment on xhs saying that after what they experienced, earth is now not a fit place for them to live, and death is a better closure for them. Quite sad

I keep seeing videos of this drama on xhs and it looks good and angsty. Acting is good too, Haven't really watched the drama yet, only watched up to ep 2 but I already cried seeing the end. I heard that the novel is more angsty than the drama

it needs a lot of proper promotion. Any mediocre drama (not referencing xy) can do excellent as long as there is proper promotion

She lost the trust of the girls. Mudan running away, faking death and taking on a different identity...those are all illegal crimes that will warrant her downfall if exposed. Yet SY told her ex about all these, she may not of intended malicious things for Mudan but she should've known the consequence of what happens if another person knows, especially one that has ill will or conflict with Mudan prior. Sy should've kept her mouth shut, it's not her business to tell her ex about Mudan's private matters. She didn't have boundaries.

Sy going back to her ex is seperate since it's common for partners in domestic abuse to go back.

People are allow to make mistakes, however it depends on how big and detrimental those mistakes are and the effects it will cause. Mudan bacame a slave, lost her free will, lost her store/business, got beaten and almost raped. Aint no sane minded person should forgive and forget. Mudan is already benevolent by not revenging.

Sy is gullible and easy to be swayed and influenced. This is because of her family, her father and older brother is abusive to all females of the family. They are rough with words and actions, and constantly belittle the women, never giving them freedom of thought or speech. Because the men of the household are useless and lazy with no prominment success in anything, they can only abuse the women to inflate their ego as if they matter in the world. Sy living in this type of home, she is constantly belittled and often self deprecate herself, especially when compared to the female doctor friend since she's illiterate and thinks she has no little skill. Her going back to her ex is expected since her family constantly emphasize that she's nothing without a husband.

However, this does not excuse her actions and what she caused Mudan to be a slave and lose her business. With Mudan's personality, she will prob forgive her, but shouldn't forget. This type of business partner or staff is dangerous. If I were Mudan, I would help Sy when needed, since she was a good friend and bonded with trauma (haha), but that's it. There's a line that shouldn't have been crossed. I hope Mudan cuts ties

I read the novel already, though skipped the first 100 chps. I hope they changed the script bc ml is just lecherous and possessive. They script will have to be changed so that it's appealing for an actor to consider. I also hope LanXiang's personality is changed so she's not always so mother theresa.

I see her fans saying they will support and anticipating for this drama, which is a total change of their previous behaviour when they said to wait for official announcement to be true. So I guess this is true.

is ml's dad dead also? I wonder how he died. ml showed his jokster and benevolent caring side to mudan, and his threats are empty to her. So she forgets that he has a sinister side when angered (ok not really sinister but ya get what I mean).
