I'm thinking if you're not hooked by maybe ep 5-10, then drop. I don't think 2 eps is enough to really determine.…
there's nothing else good to watch rn anyways, so it can't hurt to try, think of it that way. If you end up liking it, then great. And if you don't... then you haven't wasted your time any more than you would have watching anything else that's out right now, so there's that at least.
I love them! They have that kinda sexy toxic vibe, like a little fluffy cute rabbit and a nasty pissed off honeybadger…
He's either a scheming narcissist or seriously misguided, it just depends on how you look at it. But in any case, it ends badly for him, and he does not redeem himself.
Story = Very good Settings & Costumes = Double awesome! ML FL chemistry = They have it! Humor = It works Action sequences = Awesome Shirtless Gao Zheng acting sexy and being all sexy = Super-mega waaahhhhhhhh

IMO, good scriptwriting. Look how he ended. And she was like I hate you, but I don't want to see you defiled by these soldiers. That was an excellent scene as far as dialogue and emotional content. I don't think that his ending could have been written as well by less talented/imaginative writers.
i can't believe i felt sympathy for songhan when ansu killed her. He gaslighted ansu, trapped her and all. that…
I felt the same way. I found it to be a very interesting point of emotional complexity in an otherwise straightforward show. As soon as he starts getting all yandere, I found myself suddenly enchanted by him in this really dark weird way, and after that point, everything ansu did in reaction to him made perfect sense to me, and his end was so fitting, it was just really really good scriptwriting.
I also think a part of that is that they don't SHOW songhan actually doing anything underhanded for a long time. So I kept wondering if he was truly being wrongfully judged by everyone or not, I didn't know where his character was gonna go.
When he offed ansu's brother, that's when you find out where he's really at as far as morality. But then there's the question of WHY he did it. At first it appears like he did it out of love for Ansu, in just a really messed up way. But then later you are left questioning if he did it for her or if he just did it to serve his interests and his narcissism. He is the one character that's really hard to pin down psychologically. That makes him interesting.
I find her stunning - a natural beauty. She is more beautiful than most A list actresses I've watched recently.…
Luo = At first I couldn't watch him also. Then, I watched him because I couldn't stop staring and was fascinated by his weirdness. And because he happens to be a pretty good actor (esp at straight-man comedy and kiss scenes).... his weird face just sort of grew on me, and now I think he's like 65% hot 35% alien-weird.
Not gonna lie, a lot of what you said is nitpicky at most. How will you not like the FL wearing business casual…
lol! the thing I didn't like about boss and me (me being picky again), is that she wore this plastic face shield for so much of the drama. like... the opposite of sexy. and it had that little chin-rest.... aghh it was so stupid. but her clothes? fine with me. if only she'd lost the faceguard.

These are often just like my "note to self" because i've seen so many dramas and most of them i can't remember without some prompting of the impressions I had while I watched it.
Aside from that though, I am nitpicky at this point. You can still have a business romance that's less exhausting, like Boss and Me, or there was another one where the CEO ML hires the FL for something, and he doesn't want her all over the office so he changes her desk to a little kid's desk playspace inside his office, and it's hilarious the way they do it.
Also the woman can be a professional at her job, but if more of the scenes are filmed at away-from-office locations, she doesn't have to be IN her corporate attire in so many scenes.
I just very much dislike the blazer/blouse/pencil skirt motif of clothing, but that's just my thing.
There is nothing wrong for fans to express their satisfaction to the drama. What is wrong is to attack a drama…
Get this through your thick, thick skull: MDL IS A PUBLIC FORUM. Not a place for psychotic fans to bully others. Now run along little mean girl, and take your toxic up out my grill.

I put him on a pedastal because he's the best kisser in c-dramaland. I don't think there's any plastic surgery there, but if there is it was money welllllllll spent, wew LAWD he so sexy!
Luo Zheng, now that's plastic surgery. (And I don't even care because he's fine as a mofo too!)
I'm exhausted. This constant going back and forth. And the FL, girl, can we just help her with her wardrobe and…
ML's past-life khaki outfit with the ascot.... also not great. And he has this leather coat in some early scenes that it's like YEAH Zi Xian looks good in black leather anything... but that jacket was just covered in big cargo pockets and the fit was so boxy and dumb, and I'm like how do you mess up just "hot black leather jacket", smh.
The one that just killed me was the green dress with the black top-trim on the bodice, and the sheer sleeves. God, that was ugly. Then later she was in that baggy velvet thing that looked like she'd gotten in a fight with the living room drapes.

Plus he's hot, so there's that.
