Can you tell me which of her dramas she "delivers" on? Because I'm not familiar with her, and I think she's TERRIBLE. It says she was a support role for butterflied lover, and i watched that but can barely remember it, and don't remember her in it at all.

He's actually a legit good actor, he was solid in My Uncanny Destiny and f*cking incredible in Love And Bid Farewell. idk why he takes these roles, but at least i get to see him act all the time because he's in like ten things a year. I hope someday he gets THE ROLE, and utterly slays it, because he has the ability.

I decided i'm waiting till this is nearly done and then i'm gonna binge the rest all at once. I think it'll be the best way to view this for me.

So in the meantime, i'm trying to find something else to watch. I'm watching soft-hearted god with the best kisser on the planet Yan Zi Xian, and it's ok so far, but i can't binge it because it's ongoing.

What should I binge. Anyone ever see Joy Of Life? Or have any reccs for something A) romance B) has a dark streak and/or a spicy streak C) isn't already on my watched list 😭😭😭

I watch anything twisted/dark/strange/supernatural/toxic/insane/badass/redflag/morally gray/taboo/obsessive/possessive/demons/monsters/creepy hot Luo Zheng CEO waiting till the FL is taking a shower to call the landlord to see if he "can get the power shut off to just one apartment unit"... all that sh*t.

OMG no lol... but that surprises me coming from Wang An Yu? Because he was hotttttt as fire in Falling Into You.

I know FL's don't want to seem cheap on their resumes, and you pick the time, place, degree, the right co-star to go for it with, and then other times you hold back, but some actresses its like COME ON. If it freaks you out this much to do an intimate moment with your ML in front of the camera, then *why did you take a lead role in a romance*.

Actors and actresses who do this annoy me, because nothing pulls you out of immersion faster than an awkward fake kiss in a romance story at the crucial moment OF the romance.

i fell in love with her because of ELOD, and then it quickly got to the point where i'd just about given up on her because she just won't make herself emotionally vulnerable to the camera like that anymore... brutal take i know, but it's like she thinks shes so pretty it excuses her from having to actually act IN LOVE with the ML.

But I always remember how good she CAN be. So we'll see how this one plays out. So far all she has to do is act like she is in love with him but doesn't know it. But pretty soon she's going to have to act IN LOVE with ML and then kiss him like someone would if they were in love.

To me, out of the A-lister dramas, the best kisses belong to Ling He and Bai Lu in sokp, and Luo Yun Xi and Bai Lu in Love Is Sweet (that kiss in the hall next to the elevator omggg what even was that).

And I'm not even saying Dilraba has to live up somehow to that, I just want her to be believable, and not that "Im too good to lower myself to do this kiss scene properly" stuff. I know that stars are touchy, and touchy about their professional images, but i mean please. I just don't want to have to throw in the towel on her dramas like she's the female equivalent of Ren Jia Lun, and she's gonna G-rate her performances IN ROMANCES so that the ccp censors don't have to do it for her.

I don't like it when actors WHO AGREE TO DO ROMANCES put an emotional wall up when things start to get hot in the kitchen. That's what a romance is ALL ABOUT. You can't just gloss over that part and then say youre such a great actor or actress. No one should be above the role they take.

i'm watching a Dilraba drama so that's how you know the degree to which I'm existentially bored. But it's pretty good for a Dilraba, right?

ok well im not defending this drama because i havent read the novel, and i've been burned by other dramas, so you may be right

BUT

I distinctly remember on my first watch of SOKP, coming to the comments section at around ep 27 and saying "why am i watching this again? cuz im so bored im ready to drop, WHERE is the romance, I see absolutely none." And people were like hang in there, i swear to you just hang in there

And in that one, you have to wait til like the last 5 eps or something, BUT THE PAYOFF, my god.

there's still over 25% of the drama left to go, there is time for redemption.

No you'd rather vaguely wave your finger around and call a contingency of this discussion section shallow and disappointing. It's much better to just address the whole comment section in general about looking down on others watching this show, but then that way if anyone confronts you, you can just say you weren't talking about them.
