ty for the flowers how sweet! I tried to make a more detailed review, but i'm just at a loss as to where to begin on this one. It's so freaking GOOD, yet there is nothing specific i can point to and say "this is why it was good".
The FL was truly outstanding, but did she hold the entire drama up on her own, no. A little bit of everything went into making this A+.
Even in the ending eps, they completely ditch the romance and go straight for "justice and revenge" resolution. Normally that does not hold my interest. But this time I was still fiending for every last ep all the way to the end.

idk, he just doesn't seem like he's doing anything that different from standard guy behavior. It's nothing - to my mind - to freak out about. This could have something to do with the fact that I dated a guy for 12 years who had Borderline, OCD, and Tourettes, idk.
She refused to accept the gift of an imperial sheep. How would she explain that to the Emperor if she was called to account? Regardless of if her father did the same thing, it's a faux pas. When ML leaves the sheep out in the rain, it's because he's being filial to someone he thinks will be his father in law, he COULD explain his actions to the Emperor if he had to. His actions are defensible.
Couch - that's why I said she's letting him sleep on it, not making him sleep on it. And he said why he was leaving when he left, to give her space because she seems displeased. He ASKED what was the matter. She wouldn't say. He tried explaining himself, and apologizing, and she's still mad, so what more is there for him to do except respect her space. I don't think he's being childish, personally. I think he's being respectful.
Sometimes when there's strife in a relationship, you have to take it in hand and manage it, or there will be no relationship.
I guess the best way I could see what you're trying to say is just that you mean "It's not sexy." To me these kinds of things are not dealbreaker stuff, but if it is to you, who can argue.
One time I broke up with a perfectly good sweet nice man from a relationship of 8 years, and when i look back on it now, 50% of the cause was fart jokes. It's just not sexy. The relationship turned platonic because he just would not stop with the fart jokes. I'm sure there's a lot of females out there who would think that me dumping him over something like that was pure idiocy.

A) That's not what he said B) She never asked WHY he did that, just jumped straight to the conclusion that he's a big fat idiot without communicating C) Making jokes in stressful situations is part of his personality, some people are like this D) But they already hashed that out earlier and it was resolved fairly quickly
I would neither put up walls or break up with him, but A) Cook a bomb ass meal and sit down with him for a nice big dinner with plenty of nutrition and protein B) try to make some jokes to lighten the mood C) give him a good massage and let him sleep like a log all night D) Cook an amazing breakfast and a lovely pot of hot tea E) Bring up what's making you upset, and have a nice heart to heart in a reasonable manner. F) Know what kind of resolution you want that would appease you and then ask for it.
Problem solved, man kept, reputation intact, feelings = respected without being indulged and allowed to run rampant and sabotage all she's worked for.

... and now she's letting him "sleep on the couch". When she should be worrying about whether the both of them are well fed and well rested and feeling like champions to attack their upcoming problems, she's just adding more cortisol to their situation. She even treated the Royal Sheep like crap, that's treading into dangerous faux-pas territory. The way she's indulging her negative feelings right now to the point that they are sabotaging her interests.... is something i'd think for her is out of character.
[I mean, you could say her burning the 4 confessions was also sabotaging her own interests but I think she burned fakes personally idk]

He's just not picking up what she's laying down. But what's irritating is her realizing this and then just doubling down instead of relenting and telling him what exactly is the matter. He is just being an idiot, but SHE is putting up a wall.
He's trying to figure out what's the matter, he keeps asking her "what's wrong" and she won't be honest, open, forthright and just tell him. At first that kind of thing might be coy or cute, but let it go on for too long and it turns into foolish pride that drives a wedge, and could potentially endanger their relationship.
Already he's not sleeping in the same domicile as her. He can't fix it because he can't wave a magic wand and read her mind. But she can fix it by simply "using her words".
if it were me and i was on ep 19, i would go back and tell my past self to pause it and wait till it's just about done, so i can fully immerse and binge it. i think the day-to-day drip of episodes is not fun. this show is total binge material.
