This drama is the same as that one, a terrible terrible sequel with a FL who is poorly written. Amnesia for 7 episodes of a 10 episode drama and the only thing that happens in these 7 episodes is the FL getting it on with multiple men,

Just looked up the writers, they seem more interested in projecting their men fantasies in this drama than to actually tell a nice story.

romance Kdramas and Cdramas are hit and a miss.
When they are shitty, they really are shitty.

Imagine if the drama actually has the ML hug, give CPR to the 2FL.
It's not like the writers can't write the scenario where the 2FL is in danger and ML performs CPR on her multiple times...

For all those saying it's just CPR or it's just a peck or just a hug etc...these are deliberate interactions written by writers for the FL,
They could easily have given the same to the ML with 2FL if they desired but we know that will never happen in Kdramas or Cdramas.

while the first part was fantastic,
the sequel is pretty much meh.

Nothing except for the continuation of love triangle happens for 7 episodes.
The show is more interested in giving the FL a intimate moments with as many men possible than to actually progress the story.

Strong FL in Cdramas is an oxymoron, especially in romance dramas with a love triangle.
I find each and every FL of a romance Cdrama with a love triangle to be incredibly dumb with no exception.
being dumb is just the starting point, they are also unlikable and duplicitous.

And strong women in Cdramas seem to be a women with the worst manly traits.

In Korean and Chinese dramas, the FL brain is replaced by shit when it comes to the 2ML.

They become impossibly dumb and naive.
Just look at this drama, why would a married woman in this period hug her husband's friend?

Episode 1 was better than most 40 episode dramas.

By the end i was pretty convinced the ML would chop his testicles, gift wrap them and present them to FL as proof of his love.

Had this been projected as FL coming of age story with legal and business background, the drama would be perfect.

They got a top ML, projected it as romance but the ML is hardly in the drama.
The interactions of the leads is barely present.

The ML was very damaged right off the bat and he remained damaged through out the drama, except for the last episode.

FL had the best growth ark. She goes through tremendous highs and lows & eventually becomes very strong person.
This version of FL, especially in the later half of the drama is one of the strongest in cdramas. She understood what ML went through, she did not shout or cause stupid dramas. She did what needed to be done, which pretty much is a reflection of strength.

YH feels completely fake just like every other cdrama ML.
The core reasons are pretty much posted by you.
YH base characteristics fit with every other cdrama ML, the variations are pretty superficial.
Remember that all cdrama ML become soft and cuddly once they fall in love with FL.

the ML in Binary Love is pretty much like YH. There really is no difference.

Most ML's in most Cdramas are predictable and one dimensional, hence pretty much boring.

ML does not need to cheat with other girls, he can just have normal friendly interactions like normal human with them. The Cdrama ML don't even make proper eye contact with other women. At that point they remind me of psychos. You can literally feel how fake these ML are at that point.

All men near the FL are handsome and nice.
All women near the ML are pretty much bitches.

This was a nice drama but damn the charecters are so cliched.
You literally know how the characters would be in episode 1.
