If that one scene where the ML is picking up his ex bothers viewers, the FL interactions with her ex should leave the same viewers seething with anger. Wonder if one can dare call the FL as bitch for most of the drama?

The basic characteristic of any cdrama ML is their lack of normal relationships with other women than the FL and this ML fits the criteria perfectly. Look at the FL and her interactions with other men in the drama and compare how the same drama makes sure the ML never has any interactions like that with other women.

In almost every drama, the ML is a pure virgin who would not even make eye contact with other women, In contrast the FL has very physical interactions with many men in the drama.

The GF grew business in a time when it was dog eat dog world & that time would have destroyed any businessman who was idealist. In fact businesses even today are like mostly like that...purely profit based and answerable to shareholders.
Let's not forget the ML main intention was to save his own mother and not some generic political or moral statement.
Does not mean GF was not harsh, it just means it was and is the reality of business.
His class views about servants are appalling in any modern setting but in many cultures across the world, that generation was pretty much like that.

FL even wrestles SML on her own initiative. She has no problems with being touched, in factshe seemed to invite them.
In Cdramas only ML have problems with touching opposite sex. FL have no issues ever, the more the touching the better.
