It was so charming to see the FL already in relationship with the ML confess her love to her true love Min Woo. That's what you want to see in a romance drama, one of the leads still very much in love with another person in the last episode.
The only thing missing was our cucked Wimp ML falling on his knees and thanking the FL for still being with him even though her true love is now free.
Does anyone who is currently watching this have a mini-review or any comments about how they feel about the drama…
This is pretty much a rom-com.
The focus on most part is on ML & FL and the evolution of their relationship. Every episode shows growth of both ML and FL as well growth in their relationship, add it some insanely hilarious moments to top it off.
The dumbest Kdrama in a while, Expected out of a cdrama but not a Kdrama.
The FL was borderline having an emotional affair with her crush for a long time and through out the drama. The only way to make her look less shitty was to make another woman even crappier. The drama achieved it by making her crushes girl go off the deep end. That girl was pretty much a victim of FL and her crush having questionable relationship for years. Who would question an affair, especially an emotional one, if you claim you are friends? The affair pretty much continues even after she gets together with the ML. Only in last few of episodes does she realize may be there should be boundaries in their "friendship" - No shit Sherlock.
The ML was shown as some hot shot in the initial episode and slowly turns into a wimp after falling for the pathetic FL - all in all, a typical Cdrama CEO & they even added a trauma LOL.
The amount of regressive ideas and red flags in this drama is ridiculous.
Started off strongly, ended decently but the some of the aspects of the journey did not make any sense.
FL had no business to be nice to her Ex. The ex was a turd & they did not break up because they did not fit in and neither was the break up a normal one. He basically screwed her in the worst possible way. Her constant searching for his for advise and other things made no sense. Was it supposed to show her good the FL or how cool she became with things? At some point one needs to start looking for excuses to understand why the FL kept engaging her ex. This whole story line did not make sense & was not needed.
The father's redemption arc was not necessary. It's not necessary to tie up all the ends
usually asian dramas, especially Cdramas have ML being neutered for the FL. That's not the case here.
Whole story resolves around a jackAss ML and down on her luck FL. One of the main points of the story would be about ML having his growth as a character & the FL being the catalyst.
While the things she did to him looked bad, in hind-sight they were very superficial, like things & money. We do see her regretting her acts now and then. Lest we forget, she rushed back and saved his life in the first place. Does he deserve it or not is moot, considering he never had amnesia and was using her to sound people out.
He was a mildly willing participant in her crazy schemes.
It fits with his original character though, he started off as nasty and it probably would be tough ask for him to do 180 degrees so soon but you could see certain moments of tenderness here and there starting to come out.
the FL is absolute blast & the detective guy is stealing the show - he is damn funny
There really is no end how stupid and pathetic FL is. Another disappointing episode.
For most part this episode was good and just when I was thinking 'ok, this episode was really fun' in comes in her crush & being the asian drama FL, our girl decides to give an explanation to the 'man' as to why she is dating another guy. Let's all grasp this for a bit. The FL is giving an explanation to her crush why she is dating the ML. Not just that, she also tells her crush that they might not work out...blah blah blah. She was almost apologetic, as if she is telling him if only you were available, I would not be dating other guys.
Have we seen her crush ever giving any explanation as to why he is dating other girls? Or did the FL ever demand an explanation or interfere?
The FL is just plain stupid and continues to be pathetic at this point. She keeps encouraging her crush by interacting and telling him things she has no need to. Her crush has now dumped his girl and we know what's coming next, don't we?
another episode where the woman has to give explanations and justifications to a man regarding her dating life. Let's not forget the apologetic tone as well.

FYI, i did not force anyone to read my comments or comment about it. Don't remember being abusive either in my posts.
A suggestions to people like you, if you don't like my comments, please don't read them and mind your own business. I have never begged you or anyone else to read or give your opinion about what I posted.
The fact that you posted something in language I don't understand tells me what kind of a person you are, not that I care about it though.
Have a great day and let me reiterate that I DON'T want to know your thoughts on this garbage of a drama.
Cdramas (webdrama) tend to have these cliche romance plots (low budgets, plotholes, etc), because people like…
Of course not, even when it applies to any character, it needs to dealt with correctly. Point being, you are not that invested in secondary characters, the drama does not make or break due to them. If some one else wants to take up the secondary characters consistency, you won't see me objecting to it. Does not mean I should be forced to doing it.
This is not about just this drama showing the FL weeping over a guy. this is about significant Asian dramas with this same trope.
I am yet to see a ML crying over a girl like a wimp in front the FL. have watched dozens where the FL cries in front of the ML over a guy, never the other way around. When this is an established pattern, it points to a misogynistic thinking in whoever is making these dramas.

So, you are perfectly OK with these sexist tropes repeated in these dramas?!
'forecasting' dramas is adult themed, the emotions are different and the trauma of relationship is shown on the man and the woman - not just the woman alone.
If you don't like my comments, you are welcomed to not read them & even if you read, I am not forcing you to respond. and what's this objection on a forum discussing dramas to me posting about the drama? Do they always have to positive? If you find something deeply disturbing in a drama, you don't want to share it?

Let me guess, you don't like it because the ML is not a CEO.
It's a drama geared at adults and not 10 year old's, so I am pretty certain it's not to the taste of a lot of usual asian drama viewers, unsurprisingly.
having adult themes and uncomfortable topics as driving force of a drama does not make it bad. It just makes the drama different.
What's bad is BP. Have had enough of asian dramas that project their FL so pathetic. You never see asian drama ML weepy over girls in front the FL. This trope where only the girl always is shown as crying is so regressive. projecting these women as some one who can't live without men, especially men who never cared for them or loved them...does anyone not find watching this uncomfortable? What's worse, these FL's always cry and weep in front of another man. my god, this is so pervertedly regressive that I am surprised not more people find it offensive at all!!

I don't mind the cliche CEO-employee romances. They can be light and entertaining, if done right. The immediate one that comes to my mind would be 'whats wrong with secretary kim'. It had all the cliches but they did it right for the most part. Looking at the ML and FL, you can easily guess they cared for each other and eventually developed feelings for each other. On their own, FL and ML were likable and since the main focus was romance, they did most things right, including the love triangle.
BP took the worst possible cliches and some how made it even worse. The webtoon was very good, the author showed the progression of characters in way as readers you could see and understand. The first half of the webtoon was mostly the FL journey from getting over her crush to falling in love with the ML. In that journey the FL falls in love, doubts herself and eventually realizes she was as pathetic as her crush & decides to be brave to fight for her love of ML. The drama messes this up. Where is the FL journey that shown in the webtoon? She is weeping over her crush one day and the next day she is jealous over another. That's just not what happens in the webtoon. The drama just murders this part and includes the worst possible cliches. This in turn makes the FL look absolutely horrible. it makes her look like she is with the ML since her first choice of love is not available.
been watching '2521' 'crazy love' and 'forecasting love and weather', all of them are pretty good. '2521' is not primarily romance but it does romance 100 times better than this crap. You could actually see their journey, why they fell in love and why they cared for each other. It's like eating a nice french 5 course dinner with fine wine. BP on the other hand is like eating mcdonalds burger made by a guy who didn't wash his hands after taking a dump.
This Cdrama which is currently running alongside BP has same story line & exactly same leads.
the Pathetic FL who weeps in front of the ML over her lost love. The cold hearted rich and successful ML looks at the crying pathetic FL and finally hits puberty.
Could not get past 20 mins of the first episode of this shit.
dear lord, why are most Asian romances so shitty?! I thought it was unique thing to Cdramas. Now I see it is common in Kdramas as well. Don't know about other asian dramas....are the FL and ML so pathetic and cold in most asian countries dramas?!
Teens, both boys and girls drooling over celebrities.

The trioka of noob teachers are hilarious and endearing.
That whole drama felt so fake, including the characters.

It ticked all the boxes, it was funny and had much needed growth for the FL vis a vis her ex-crush.
Another disappointing episode.

rest of your points are fair. At this point I am just lashing out because I liked the webtoon and I feel the drama turned it into a turd.
