Today's episode was a filler episode and a bit boring.
but the interesting part was when both Male leads discussing about the ML's marriage and how it would impact FL's career.

It was such a stupid, moronic and from Korea POV a dangerous narrative.

Exactly what would have changed for the ML and FL if they were married?
Literally nothing.
This is not like a century back where the woman after marriage would have to move, leave people and interests and live with a strange man.

Both ML and FL are in love, go on dates, almost are living together.
Exactly what changes for them after marriage? Except for getting the marriage certificate, nothing changes.
So, why all the sacrifice talk? What exactly would FL be leaving after marriage? And what exactly would ML be gaining after marriage in the context of this drama and these 2 characters?

With dwindling population and trust in marriages, one would have thought Korean dramas make an effort to honestly address this issue.
but damn, they just threw a kitchen sink on a drowning baby.

Well, she sold herself to the ex husband for money. She destroyed her boyfriend, ML, in the process.
She literally shagged the villian for money and status.

So, asking for self-respect after doing those things is a little too much.

Fantastic first episode.

Kdrama ML's and 2ML's are all sus.

Another drama with harem for FL.

All the cold and arrogant male leads in Kdramas are also very very simpy to the FL whom they love.
They will go all mushy and soft for the FL, they will be the doormat for the FL to wipe her feet.

In this one, while the pathetic one if the ML, the role reversal will never happen.
the FL like in every Kdrama will never simp the ML or go to lengths to show her love. Per kdrama's strong FL's don;t do cringy shit. That's reserved only for the ML, who need to shoe their incredible love for FL in various cringy fashion.

Kdrama ML's need to preserve their purity for FL.

It's the first and most important rule of Kdrama romances.
the ML must not soiled in any way or form by other women.

Apparently, female viewers who are ok with FL getting it on multiple men, are not ok when ML even looks at other women.

Add 'Welcome to Samdal' to the list.
The ML in that one is a bigger cuck and simp than this one

She absolutely screwed ML and showed zero remorse.

While her husband screwed her, she was also screwing him.
basically the FL uses men like toilet paper only and only to look out for her interests.

The ML being a simp is the norm in kdramas. They are all doormats and simps.
Even in recently finished drama 'Samdal', the ML is a cuck and a simp.

We watched a different show then.

It's strange we keep ignoring the facts.

fact 1 - ML did everything divinely possible to protect her, including taking extreme punishments on her behalf
fact 2 - FL was supposed to go through that suffering. That was the whole point of her trial. Suffering.
fact 3 - ML was pulled into the misery FL was supposed to go through. He was the one who unnecessarily suffered while FL got power upgrade because of the suffering.

That's what the drama showed.

Now FL gets her power after suffering, dumps her husband and child and carries on her life with another man. pure coincidence that the man turns out to be her husband.

FL is pretty much the villain of this drama and all around piece of shit.
She screwed every man she came in contact with.

ML is yet another simp in long list of simps in Kdramas.
ML's simping is getting more and more cringy with each new release of Kdramas.

the only character that i liked was the husband of villainous FL.

really fail to understand why any man would ever consider to be anywhere near the garbage like this FL.

1. The reverse needs to be true as well. But in most these dramas, the FL's have teams of men surrounding the FL and she happily let's them tag her whenever they want. Just like this drama
2. nothing wrong in ML being like that. The only thing wrong is complete lack of women in their life except the FL. On contrary, the FL never lacks men in her life.
3. Until the meet the FL, their pecker pretty much is in slumber and theur puberty locked up in a locker. show me one Cdrama ML who looks at a woman and thinks of her as hot, not counting the FL.

It gets worse.

2ML is a bigger simp than the ML.
And it's a love triangle for most of the drama where 2 men who never looked at any other woman than FL (who dated multiple men) are in universe ending kind of love with her.

It's all plot devise by the female writer.

She wanted to give Fl multiple relationships to make her look cool.
She made ML that way to make sure he stays very very pure for the FL. the ML in kdramas can never be soiled by another woman's presence in his life.
For good measure she added 2ML to continue to make FL look very very cool.

It's like, look how the cool the FL is...She dated a team of men and then there are these two men who only loved her in their lives and never looked at another women.

It's like a wet dream of a teenager where she is bonking whole of rugby team and ends up with a handsome virgin prince who never looked at any other woman.

if drinking is huge in Koran, then it becomes the responsibility of every medium available to send a message that it is a societal problem & a really bad one.

It's like celebrating having 90% of population with STD's.
I doubt they would be glorifying STD's in these dramas or the govt would be passive about it.

If a society have become drunkards & dramas continue to glorify it, it's a massive problem.

That's the biggest problem, normalizing excessive drinking.

Any young person watching this would be going away with the thought that this kind of drinking is normal and ok.

While dramas need not be medium for messaging, what is happening here is opposite, a very direct normalization of excessive drinking - which is worse than messaging.

They also have high % of STD's.
Don't really see Kdramas showing their leads going through different kind of STD every episode.

This is an example of healing drama.

The one thing that would have made this drama even better would be if they didn't romanticize alcoholism as a virtue.

They swapped bodies, not personalities.
The FL still retained her shitty personality even after body swap.
The brave ML becomes a coward.

And there is no actual science on body swapping - so, it's just make up anyway.

ML was very daring, active, stuck to his ideals and would go to any lengths to get things done.
After body swamp, he becomes a frightened rabbit.

How did the spunky young man who bravely confronted the world become a frightened clown after the body swap?
