Between the ML and FL, the 7 year old is the FL. She caused the whole mess and somehow is showing attitude to the ML who is there in the police station as deal to help her team out.
Episode 2 shows the FL is still a bit insufferable & bit unprofessional.
it's ok though. I like this characterization of the FL. She is not perfect and has issues, which the writer and the drama seem to acknowledge. The actress seems to be pull of the character well, she has a nice dignity that she brings to the character.

One of the most important part of police work is to maintain a healthy relationship with people, unlike military force.
The FL's mistake is not her violence and not listening to the ML. It's her prejudice and later on her hubris.
The fact that she has not apologized and in fact has doubled down on her hubris is what makes the FL poorly written. She was in the wrong, not just as police but also as a human being. The least she should have done is say sorry and try her best to make amends.
People seem to forget, usually police who do what she did get fired and jailed. Even after the shit storm the FL is still acting as if the ML is in the wrong. He never was wrong, neither legally nor morally. It's not like the FL does not know it....so, the only other reason is hubris.

It's her discrimination of people, in this case the rich ML. then comes her lack of humility, she has not apologized to the ML and the writer is not going to write one, since the FL's in kdrama never say sorry to the ML. Last is her hubris, you can literally see her annoyance towards the ML in the end of ep1 and even in the preview of ep2.
She has absolutely no sympathy towards the person she put through shit. Her prejudice is not addressed, her violence is not addressed and the writer will continue the character to have same attitude until she falls in love with the ML.

but Kdrama's with the FL as a cop shows them as rude and annoying, at least now a days. I was rooting for the ML to punch her in the face and tell her to settle down. Any cop behaving like the FL in real life would have definitely lost her job and probably be jailed as well.
Whatever I know of Korea, the cops for the most part are very smart, well trained and know how to behave. Only a banana republic would have cops like the FL on their force.

So, they were truly never her boyfriends. Fl always had another man in her heart. Only her body with these men.

The execution was nice, actors played their parts well and it was an enjoyable drama for the most part.
