I'm a Wallace Chung admirer and have watched a lot of his dramas. This one does not sound like a new drama to me since I started watching this story years ago where he's also in love with a ballerina. Am I going crazy?
Until this episode (9) I didn't find it dragged, but now they don't seem to be getting anywhere except eating and driving in cars. They are supposed to be rescueing her mentor/father figure. She doesn't seem as strong here as previously, maybe she should have taken him up on the idea of eating and sleeping more. He keeps asking if she's alright when there is obviously a blade through her midriff.
Started watching this 'old thing' on Netflix 'cause I love historical Kdramas and this was the only one left I haven't watched. Disappointed there is so much time spent in the present. Keep wondering if as Prince he ever gets to see the younger sister's face and finds out what a scumbag his beloved 'Princess' is? I don't care who killed her, I say good riddance! Just read the main actor's history and it sounds very troubled. That's too bad as I would like to see him in other dramas.
Just started this drama strictly for Chen Xiao. Great environment, plenty of blood and guts with evil characters promising more of the same. Wonder what caused Gu Ping Yuan ending up a criminal? So I'll keep watching.
Just finished ep. 2 Looks like blood sport. Dilraba on the hunt, but surely Yan Tuo can't be such a fiend. They are bound to run into each. Take heed, don't look at your phone while driving.
Just finished ep 5. Too many switcheroos which can be confusing, but in some way it doesn't matter as it fun to see them interacting and trying to make sense out of what's happening. Dealing with the outside world is difficult, but since the main characters all know she's not really a eunuch why was everyone so shocked to see them in bed together. Oh, yeah, I guess that's a no no in those days.
Just finished this drama. It ended with the main 'lovers' standing at a cliff overlooking the nation as they give a long patriotic speech. Their two horses whinnying behind them have more CP than they do. As at the start of the drama, Yu welcomes the warrior who has been away at the border for three years with her trademark sword dance. However, by this time the widow has aged and may well be in menopause when the nuptials are finally allowed to take place. The strongest impression was the dramatic arc of The Princess and her male harem boy Han Mei who took a sidetrip to the North to play at being king but 'mommie dearest' was not impressed with his love life. The doomed couple took a flying leap off that very cliff. The other two romances while facing some hardships along the way bloomed nevertheless. Good looking drama.
"Amisdt a snowstorm of love" (2024), "Nothing but you" (2023), "Love like the Galaxy"…
Yes, I've watched them. Then he made a number of films that I was not able to access. I see he has a new drama in the works called 'The One' which could be coming out soon. He is right up there with my favorite actors.
Does anyone still think putting spoiler alerts on their posts is important to keep details from those who have…
You sound really put upon. Just how hard is it to click on the spoiler button if you are discussing an episode in minor details? People come to dramas at different times and can't always watch only the most recent episode. Others come to ask if the drama is what they might be looking for, but they don't want all the details beforehand. There is no reason not to be polite to one another given we all like these stories.
I'm loving it. A heroine full of gumption. A slightly befuddled Crown Prince. An evil spawn of an evil Minister. A besotted second lead who is rightous. A helpless King. What could go wrong?
