I feel like this whole thing was planned from the start, Yu Zheng showed Neo the script and promised him top billing without any intention to actually follow up on it, they lied to Neo to get him in the cast, knowing that -and that clown Yu Zheng said this himself- it was near impossible for Yu Zheng to be working with someone at Neo's level. How hypocritical!!!!!!!!!

Wait, did the billing for Yu Ming Cha Gu change?? If it did, then that's so unfair, that Yu Zheng clown said himself that Lu Jianglai played a bigger part in the plot and had more screentime. Billing order matters a lot in the Chinese entertainment industry, it's a symbol of status, popularity, and negotiating power, and it can't just be changed like this!!! Seriously, what are they thinking?! And of course, Hesong is doing absolutely nothing about this, forget about defending him, they're making it worse and backstabbing him!!!

I hope Neo is doing well, I know that he's really mature/稳定, and being in the entertainment industry forces you to get used to stuff like this, but no one deserves to be treated this way, much less him. 花少6 and now this, it's like a never ending cycle. Stuff like this is not easy to get through, and I hope that his friends and family are helping him along the way. Thank you to all the Kiwis who are supporting him, and I hope that justice will be served.

I'm so mad at myself, I didn't know anything about Yu Zheng before this, and I thought, "What's all this hate about? Dude seems like a pretty decent guy!". I was so wrong, seriously, he's beginning to show his true colors now.

And don't even get me started on Nazha's agent, seriously, Neo and Nazha are working TOGETHER, Idk if they're trying to take down Neo to raise Nazha in the spotlight or whatever, but what they're doing is really low.

I really hope that Neo leaves Hesong and gets a better team, seriously, that so called "manager" makes me so mad.

Hesong is wasting Neo's potential, the amount of success he could've reached is uncomparable to where he is now.

Yeah, that's the thing, it only included the female lead, which could lead to a lot of problems. This poster seems more like a temporary one, they usually include photos of the leads, but the drama only began filming a month ago, so we'll get more :)

Was the original cover for this drama official?? I actually quite liked it, but I guess it will just keep changing as the filming continues.

Personally I didn't like the book, the characters' backstories were interesting and it had a lot of potential, but the plot got dry from the second half of the story, and the execution from 白鹭成双 wasn't very well done.

The thing is, the characters and story setting were all very unique, and I thought it would've been really interesting if the author focused more on that.

The novel is also unnecessarily long, and some parts were very draggy, I started to get bored after the first half and had to constantly page back because I kept on forgetting information.

Since the drama will diverge a lot from the novel, I hope that they won't include the whole "cheating" and Ming Yi becoming the ruler of Chao Yang city part, and the entire harem thing was too much for me.
Instead, I hope that they will focus more on the setting of the story, and their pasts (judging from reuters, they will).

This is of course my own opinion, I know a lot of people really enjoyed this novel, which is fine, we all have out own opinions and likes & dislikes.

I must ask, who are the makeup artists for this drama?? Cause the 丹凤眼 they did on Neo looks absolutely gorgeous and natural, seriously can't wait for this to air!!

Since any info on this won't be released any time soon, I spent the whole day searching, and found some interesting info about the plot and characters. Take this with a grain of salt tho, some of these are unconfirmed and could be incorrect:

1. Xiao Yao is a story about love that is set in three different lifetimes.

2. Hong Ye gets stabbed a lot, especially in wedding scenes 😭😭.

3. UNCONFIRMED: Ning An is a princess and is allegedly a dragon demon??!!

4. Hong Ye was originally a mortal, who later became a demon (somehow??). He built The Valley of Ten Thousand Demons, and became The King of Ten Thousand Demons (wow!!).

5. Hong Ye's real (demon) form is a 鲲鹏 (Kunpeng), which comes from/is documented in 山海经 (The Classics of the Mountains and Seas) and 庄子·逍遥游. Kunpeng is a giant fish and bird in ancient Chinese legends. According to Zhuangzi's Xiaoyaoyou, Kunpeng's physical characteristics are that it is extremely large. Whether it is a fish like Kun or a bird like Peng, its body is thousands of miles long. (I couldn't find a lot of info on it, so if someone could, pls help 🙏🙏). In Chinese culture, Kunpeng is often used to symbolize great undertakings, lofty ideals and endless possibilities. At the same time, Kunpeng is also used to describe those who dare to challenge authority and are innovative.

It is unknown if he remembers anything from the previous lifetimes and if he recognises Xiao Yao or remembers Ning An. He is immortal, so we can assume he didn't die??

7. Xiao Yao is a young and carefree girl, who stumbled into the Valley of Ten Thousand Demons. She doesn't remember anything from the previous lifetimes (?).

8. Ning An is Xiao Yao from one of the previous lifetimes (?).

Neo always looks so gorgeous in ancient dramas, which is probably why he has so many of them. His last modern drama was I am Nobody 2, which considering all his upcoming dramas will be quite some time ago. I do miss seeing him in modern dramas, and would LOVE if he gets another role similar to Jian Zi or Wang Ye, but I'm sure whichever dramas he chooses to act in will be amazing. <33333

I don't know, but Neo in character vs Neo out of character are two completely different people 🥺🥺, he always looks so cute whenever he's waiting for his cue or just blankly staring at nothing 🤣🤣, but when he's Lu Jianglai, he's serious.
