There's this really popular milk tea brand in China called ε€θ, who collaborated with Mysterious Lotus Casebook and a few other really popular dramas/games. It would be really cool to see them also collab with Yu Ming Cha Gu, especially with how this drama's very focused with the entire "tea" thing. I do hope I will be in China if that happens though ππ
This can NOT be happening, please, someone explain the ending, is Jian Zi dead??? Cause I know for a fact there's no way anyone can escape being trapped in a vehicle under water with handcuffs, but then who's the guy in the hoodie??? Unless he faked his death, or the guy in the hoodie could be someone else???? I understand why some dramas do this, but please, I hate vague endings ππππ
Looking back, I'm so proud of the person Neo has become, not just his success in the entertainment industry, but the person he is.
Watching this just further cemented my belief. Whenever anything happenes, he's always the first to offer help. He's always very responsible and hardworking, whether it's filming his dramas or in his personal life. He always wants the best for everyone else, often times neglecting himself. He always wants to shoulder everything alone, wanting others to be carefree and relaxed while he himself is struggling. In a way, he reminds me of a lot of his characters that he's acted.
I don't care what others say about him, the truth is laid out right in front of their eyes, it's their descision whether to purposely blind themselves or not.
Yes, I'm a huge fan of him, but I will never let that cloud my judgement of a person.
It's because Lu Jianglai is Lu Da Ren. Da ren is a way of calling someone of high status (eg. in Fangs of Fortune, Zhao Yuanzhou calls Zhuo Yichen "Zhuo Da Ren,"). Da ren roughly translates to "master" or "lord". β Lord Lu Jianglai
Maybe the directing team is using "no promotion" as a type of promotion, who knows?? π€¦ββοΈπ€·ββοΈ
Exactly!!!! I am a little frustrated, I HOPE that the director and team won't mess this up, but like please, even a 10 second clip is fine π€£π€£π€£
This is lowkey getting worrying how little promotion there is.
Casual watchers rarely pay attention to the casts and directing team, so many dramas rely on promotion to get the word out and reach international audiences.
While some dramas do well without promotion, the amount of success with promotion couldn't be compared. This also uses an original script, meaning there's no promotion from existing works.
Seriously, barely anything, even from IQIYI's social media accounts.
Xiao Yao is also an S+ tier drama, meaning that the production was very high budget, but if they don't use the resources well, then it will be no different from a normal drama with poor promotion.
I just hope they will release some form of promotion soon and won't cram everything the month before it releases -- or even worse, have little to no promotion at all. πππ
From what I know (correct me if I'm wrong), actors will say their lines during filming, and those will be used, however some specific scenes require dubbing for various reasons such as cencorship, improving audio and other reasons relating to the storyline. This shouldn't take too long though, as it's not for every line, only specific parts.

Try going on Chinese social media or using image search
