Apparently, Hong Ye and another character (possibly Ning An?) had a wedding in at least 1 of the lifetimes and was killed during his wedding (at least once).

Also, it said that Hong Ye was reborn, which means that he must have died somewhere before the story took place (possibly during his wedding)?

Some leaked scenes from Red Note also lead fans to speculate that Hong Ye was initially mortal and had a pretty hard childhood, but it's unconfirmed.

Overall, I think there'll be lots of sad scenes, but it'll end up being a happy ending (hopefully)🙃🙃.

At first, I was actually really sad that Wang Ye's going to have such a little role in this drama, since he's really important for the storyline, and honestly, I only started watching this series because of Neo Hou (but I've grown to love the rest of the cast as well -- still soo sad Wanyan is not a part of the cast this time😭😭, he and Neo had such good chemistry!!), but now I'm pretty glad that he didn't have to film so much (apparently someone said that the filming for him only took 3 days), since he's playing leading roles in so many other dramas, and honestly, he deserves a break!!

The new actor for Zhuge Qing seems...okayy?? I'm not going to say much about him since I haven't watched any of his dramas, and who knows, maybe his acting's really good and it'll turn out really well...?? But for me, it'll never hit the same as Wanyan as Zhuge Qing, like he was made for this role!!! Apparently he got a lot of hate from Chinese media for...idk, not suiting the role??? Which like, what?? I honestly thought he was amazing, also, like STOPPP with the unnecessary hate😡😡!! Another reason for switching actors could be that he and Neo's chemistry was really good on screen...too good if you know what I mean... Like to the point that a lot of netizens started shipping the two characters, which if you know, is a big no-no with the Chinese overall entertainment industry, but mostly with dramas (I personally don't agree with it, just check my pfp 😁😁). The last reason and probably simplest would be because Wanyan got a lot of lead roles in other dramas, and he doesn't have time, or the filming for two dramas collided and he (with the other reasons mentioned above) ultimately decided to choose the other dramas over this one. Overall, I'm very happy for him, but at the same time, kinda sad that the old cast is incomplete 🙃🙃

I came across this really good ff on 番茄小说 , it's called 大梦归离之我命由我不由天 , it's about Zhao Yuanzhou being reborn into his younger self when he and the group first met (I suck at summaries, but trust me, it's good). Main cp are ZYZ/ZYC, PSJ/WX, LL/ZYZ (sort of).

Though I'm not a fan or anything, I have to say that the crew did a great job at casting Luo Yunxi, he's literally like the perfect person to play Chu Wanning, especially after his role as Tan Taijin in Till the End of the Moon, the first few episodes of him was really giving 1.0 era Chu Wanning 🤭🤭
Everything including the visuals just give off Chu Wanning, and with his acting, especially in TTEOTM, I'm convinced that he's literally 天选 CWN, the role was made for him.
This drama would be such a hit if it ever gets released (which is probably never), but you never know, maybe 50 years later, we'd be able to watch it?? 🤭🤭🤭
