I think you already know now that Xilun's eyes have problem and not because of agitation. So that's cleared already.

And I don't see Yue'er gets driven away from Xilun or that he's constantly getting in the way. Yue'er still interacted comfortably with Xilun, especially with their English speaking teasing each other. She just didn't know that Xilun likes her. What Xilun said to her in the praising game should make her realizes it now.

Xilun is competing with Hewen. To be fair, you can also see how Hewen always tried to place himself between Xilun and Yue'er cutting them. For example, when they ate together before the dishwashing game, when Yue'er asked Hewen to join them on the table because he sat alone separately, Hewen intentionally placed himself between Yue'er and Xilun. And even Hewen made Xilun so uncomfortable with his interaction with Yue'er that made Xilun went away to sit alone separately. Hewen also placed himself between Yue'er and Xilun after the praising game when it's his turn. If Hewen can do that, why not Xilun? So I think you're just biased about Hewen and Xilun. They do it to each other. Not just Xilun to Hewen, but also Hewen to Xilun.

Balance male and female participants doesn't guarantee that everyone will get chance/pair. What if the new male catfish also goes for Yue'er or Kaiyi for example? If that happens, Mengmeng still won't get a chance, and no point for the male catfish. It'll only invite more hate. Xilun is already getting hate because his effort for Yue'er is considered "blocking and interrupting Hewen" by some people, and I am sure if this happens then the new male catfish will get hate also. And there is screentime problem. 13 people are already a lot, WeTV even has to make it into 4 parts starting from Episode 3, from the usual 3 parts each episode.

Then I think you watch the wrong version of dating show. There maybe drama in Chinese version but it won't be too hard, they're more to heartwarming. If you want chaos, you should go watch Korean dating show (or maybe Japanese also).

Hahaha yeah I won't be gloomy for long😂I hope HS season 9 won't be a disaster like season 8. Watching it, I felt as if I watched the Korean version, not the Chinese version, if you know what I meant haha.

I can only say that I am speechless after watching the Episode 7. My mood turned gloomy after that. Especially after I saw the preview that Danqi cried, it made my heart ached.

Firstly, my first reply was for the OP, not directed to you. Most people really confused rumor as spoiler or fact/truth. They seem don't consider that a rumor is not a 100% certainty, and hence their confusion/question. If you scroll down just a bit, you can even find another one questioning the same thing. Yes, Chinese fans are too extreme acting like "detective", but even some rumors / "leaks" that they gave turned out to be false alarm / not true.

I never look at social media platforms while watching dating shows. Why should i ruin my enjoyment in watching and let it affects me? Besides rumor is rumor, some of them can be true but some of them can be not true also. You said "it's already out and about in social media platforms.", so the results are already out there and confirmed?

Youling felt guilty towards Liuliu before because he thought that maybe his words were too harsh, but I think after their last talk in his room, he finally became fed up and decided to go to Danqi and trying to know more about her. You can see his smirk seeing the ridiculous drama and irony ongoing in front of him when he's standing in front of his room. A woman that he liked was busy running around looking for another man and ignoring him while another woman was inviting him for a date.

I know there is a rumor that Youling and Liuliu is endgame CP, but a rumor is a rumor, I won't let it to affect/influence myself. Since Youling said that he feels a step behind from Danqi and wants to tell her that he's getting started and he really showed it in action, I prefer to believe him for now rather than the rumor.

If he really turns back to Liuliu, then something big must be happened between him and Danqi, not just because he feels guilty towards Liuliu or wants a one-on-one date with her. Because of his conflict with Liuliu and what he said in the interviews, there is really no reason for him to turn back to Liuliu. But if that really happens, then yeah, I agree with you that Danqi deserves a more better man that can wholeheartedly loves her.

Yeah Danqi is my fav also. She reminds me of Xiaoshi from "Yes, I Do" season 4 which is my fav as well.

I really hope that Danqi and Youling will be endgame CP. I think that Youling is true to his words about not seeing 2 girls at the same time. That's why he asked about it before to Liuliu "Do you want to know more about me or other men?" He implicitly said to Liuliu that if she wanted to know him more then she should cut other men out, and if she wanted to know other men more then she should cut Youling out. Youling wanted a clear answer from Liuliu precisely because he didn't want to see 2 girls at the same time. Because at that time Danqi already sent her signal to him. So if Liuliu wanted to know him more then he wouldn't entertain Danqi, but if Liuliu wanted to know other men more then he also didn't want to waste his time on Liuliu anymore. But well .. we got the drama.

Until now, IMO, he's true to his words, and I really hope that Danqi will be happy and get the man that she likes.

People should be able to differentiate rumor, fact/truth, and spoiler.

- Rumor means that the thing is not verified and it's not a certainty. It can be true, but it also can be NOT true.
- Spoiler means the fact/truth that should still be secret is being leaked.
- Fact/truth means that it really happens.

Most people seems just treat rumor as spoiler or fact/truth, and think that's 100% true, and hence the confusion (that shouldn't happen).

I don't think/feel that they feel attracted to each other so I can't agree with you on that.

It's only one-sided from Youling towards Liuliu. She just kept him as a spare tire / safety net if everything goes wrong, or maybe she just enjoyed his attention. There was no affection shown from Liuliu towards Youling, otherwise Youling wouldn't question her about her intention/priority towards him and asked her why she never sit with him in every occasions. And if she really had affection towards Youling (even if it's only on par with Lizheng and not higher) then she wouldn't just stand up and leave Youling to find Lizheng, and even just running around in front of Youling and didn't care about him. Every men (BK and then Lizheng) have higher priority that Youling. And then she just ignored Youling the next day even when they passed each other. No affection towards Youling can be seen from her.

Danqi, on the opposite, didn't ignore Youling even when she's unhappy and scolded Youling the night before because she thought that Youling bullied Liuliu (though she admitted that she didn't really know what really happened between him and Liuliu). That showed her affection towards Youling.

It will depend on how much Wentao likes Peixuan, how mature Wentao in accepting and handling the situation, and how much Peixuan likes and can trusts Wentao.

IIRC, in "Yes, I Do" season 2, there was a similar situation. A female participant was divorced and had a child also. A male participant liked her so much and even accepted the reality that she had a child. That female participant didn't trust him enough and they failed to be a couple in the show. But the male participant didn't give up and kept pursuing her outside of the show. Now they're already together happily.

So even if right now Peixuan seems not ready for a relationship, it shouldn't hinder her from participating in this show and finding her love and happiness.

I firstly supported Youling to fight for his love for Liuliu. I rooted for him against BK, and then against Lizheng, to get Liuliu, even when I like Danqi more than Liuliu. But after Episode 5 Part 3, I totally changed my mind and now rooting for Youling and Danqi. I hope Danqi can get the man that she likes.

How Youling can tells Danqi that he's not interested in her if she never asks him directly? So you want Youling to be a rude man and goes to Danqi and tells her "I don't like you" to her face and embarrasses her, when she even doesn't demand anything from Youling? Danqi already said herself that right now she doesn't care whether Youling likes her or not. She even knows that Youling likes Liuliu with how Youling acts around Liuliu. Danqi is not a dense woman. She just wants to enjoy the happiness that she feels right now. And with how Liuliu acted, even if Youling changes his mind and starts to like Danqi, it won't be a surprise.

Wentao also didn't take the initiative to tell the other two girls. They CAME to Wentao to ask him themselves, and that's why he could tell them that he only likes Peixuan.

Jeyeon and Jimin were the participants in Heart Pairing, the spin off of Korean Heart Signal. S/he said "In hp", but I guess you don't know about Heart Pairing and s/he was not clear enough assuming you know about it.

The production team cut off almost all of the interaction between Hyunwoo and Hyunjoo to build a narrative about Hyunwoo and Youngjoo that misled the audiences/viewers.

If you watched carefully, there were some moments that couldn't be explained also, for example when Hyunjoo was upset towards Hyunwoo. There was no reason that could explain about it, except that their interactions were heavily edited / cut off.

The same thing happened for season 4.

You can watch Chinese Heart Signal S6 if you haven't yet. In there, there's a legendary female catfish that's not only caught the heart of the (arguably main) male participant, but also caught the hearts of many viewers/audiences. Many people were impressed and still can't forget about that season until now.

Too bad Korean Heart Signal S4 cut off many of Mingyu-Yisoo interaction to make Mingyu-Jiyoon narrative, just like how they did in Korean Heart Signal S2 that cut off many of Hyunwoo-Hyunjoo interaction to make Hyunwoo-Youngjoo narrative, resulting in many hates for Hyunwoo and Hyunjoo at the end. Luckily AFAIK, not many hates for Mingyu and Yisoo because of the editing of S4.

She's been like that for a long time. I defended "the most hated guy in dating show history" from Korean My Sibling's Romance, because I thought that what he did was just normal, and she was very unhappy. She even chased me to other comment that I interacted with and told (or maybe more exact ordering) me to stop defending him and hurled me with her assumptions. I countered her with the facts shown on the screen. The person in that other comment actually agreed with my POV which I discussed with them.

After that, she went into rage and blocked me LOL. I am glad that she did that though. My page appears to be calmer because of that. I don't have to see many toxic comments. At first I was confused what people were talking about because the comments seemed disjointed. After checking, I finally know it's her 🙄🙄🙄
