Rewatched this classic and appreciate it more now because this humor and silliness is rarely seen in shows nowadays. XD Nakatsu with his monologues lolll
I agree that it's - in part - the interference/perception of others that cause the couple problems, but its also,…
I'm of the view that it's not fair to equate women to men here, because they are biologically built different. Some women, especially in Asian countries, are sometimes in the dark about certain things men are naturally very aware of and sensitive to. I see countless situations where men would experience perverted thoughts or be physically attracted to some degree, where the women are entirely clueless. I hope this makes sense and doesn't offend anybody. I think the FL here is that clueless type. She was focused on helping a gifted student and didn't care about other things. Also there are many many adult man-young girl relationships in real life, where the cultures largely overlook, maybe criticize a bit and forget the next day especially if the couple seem to be doing okay. So no not all men are reprimanded, many get away or are excused somehow maybe because they're men and men have done so for centuries, eons .
I think we can't excuse the side characters just because the leads seemed fishy. They would've found some other fault of theirs or someone elses's to criminalize and use for their own benefit, if not this one. Whatever the leads' behaviour is, the right thing to do if one is so concerned would be to approach them and calmly discuss what is going on and come to an appropriate solution, not the circus that happened in this drama. Not one person did something constructive. To gossip, slander, stalk, manipulate, scream, shout, hit, defame and get abusive is insanity and should not be tolerated anywhere.
I wish there were more love lines! I don't understand why there needs to be so many shapes lol. The latest love line I saw was in Happiness, but that's in another genre. Nice article!
Best drama of 2021 for me! It was fun to tune in every weekend. I wouldn't mind if there was season 2 with the same main cast and Koo's detective squad lol.
I instantly thought Inspector Koo is like a jdrama/anime character. All the characters are charming in their own way and feel fresh. I like that the women are the most badass lol, nice! I think I fell in love with Santa?? Yikyung is best villain and Yikyung-Geonwuk best crime duo!
Loved the development of the leads' relationship. How every other character went bonkers and could f things up at any moment. That sure heightened the tension. The main leads were kind of role models, FL one of a kind & MVP. My only concern is the rushed ending. Other than that, amazing drama, it was fun to watch. 👏
I would have loved to watch and see what they made of this, especially if Jaehyun and Lee Hyun Wook were leading. Such a shame it got cancelled. I'm still waiting for Dear M lol
