Physics and science aside, this was a good movie, better than the first one for sure.I like different languages…
So quantum computer wants to destroy mankind by watching Yaya in the loop, but she was only "exposed" to the 550W by the time of lunar engine crisis, so how referencing space elevator crisis would make sense as by then Yaya was still "in the lab" ?
And maybe it is a translation thing but: - how destroying mankind can preserve human civilization? - what was it with "overcome your obsession of past, present and future"? It would be interesting to hear someone that speaks Chinese to explain that part, as it seems like very inaccurate translation.

I like different languages used in the movie, so it is not only Chinese but a lot other (like English, Russian, French and some more), I didn't expect that.
Story wise, first 1h is way more solid than last 30 minutes. And even if it is Chinese and there is some propaganda, it is not like anyone is perfect, all people make mistakes, even the Chinese.
I still don't quite understand the ending, see the spoiler below.
That is what happens when you get caught using drugs in Korea. It is a shame, as he didn't hurt anyone by him by that (it is not like they caught him DUI)
Finally watched it after waiting months for subtitles and another months for me to pick it up. What a heartwarming story about parental love and family. As someone already commented, it gets better and better until the end. And I didn't expect such emotional ending at all.
It’s probably just me and that’s a fact but I think it’s a good thing Do-Il and In-Joo aren’t shown ending…
Yes, couldn't agree more. She never lived for herself so it is finally time for her.
Many people write that they don't like the ending, which I don't understand. It was good. I'm only salty that there is no scene with sisters meeting together at the end. Even after some time skip just 3 of them simply having dinner or something like that. Or meeting somewhere in the open just looking at each other from the distance. It could have been like a 10 seconds scene and would add so much, for me. After all, it was about 3 sisters which at the end wend their own ways, but I would like to think there is still strong bond between them and they didn't cut the ties with each other.
One of those "first half briliant, second part good" dramas. Worth watching, but I didn't like they've expalined everything in firet 15-20 minutes of the last episode. It was an easy and uninspired solution from writing perspective.
I'm not a big fan of LiSA, just happen to know some songs. Her voice is amazing and I listen to her stuff every now and then. I didn't know anything about her past but damn, she had one eventful and pretty hard life that somehow lead to her great success. It is surprisingly very emotional and personal production. That Budōkan 2014 footage after the concert hits hard and is something most artist wouldn't share. It is different to talk about hard situation and different having footage of that. If you like documentaries about musicians then this one is worth watching.
When the fl and ml get together is there any break ups? Also is it the ml always chasing after the fl or the fl…
They get together very late on, like ep 14 or 15. There are some scenes with ML and FL but i think first kiss (like the real one) is in ep 15. Romance is not a main focus here. There are no break ups, and I cannot say one chases more than the other. They clearly are attracted to one another which evolves into a relationship. But considering the flashbacks, originally it was rather ML chasing after FL.
I've just started s2 and changing of ML and FL hurts me a bit. I cannot get into liking new characters, maybe it will get better.
As so many mentioned already I would like to see leads from s1 to appear at least as a guests but having to many top tier actors is expensive so I wouldn't hold my breath (and Yoo Yeon Seok is probably doing next season of Hospital Playlist so it might also be a schedule conflict).
Nevertheless, even not finishing s2 yet, I'm happy the story will continue with same leads and not like a new opening for a 3rd time, which could be boring :)
I've just finished the last episode. Some thoughts below, behind spoiler tag.
The last episode doesn't really give any hints why SoMin will not be in Part 2. It must be something we will learn in the first episode of the Part 2.
It is surprisingly strong drama with episodes 10-12 and 19 being the only ones I really didn't like (19 just dragged too much for what they've tried to show and pacing was really off) and skipped bigger parts of them. Uk's father sub-plot was also very underwhelming and disappointing at the end.
I was worried when I've read that Crown Prince might be a main villain going forward, but after finishing Part 1 it all makes sense. I would also try to get rid of Uk if I were him, to much risk of loosing his position :)
Hopes for Part 2: - more action, magic, blood and gore - less family/couples dramas and romance
I would be fine if both leads (or one of them) would sacrifice themselves to finally destroy the stone.
TBH the romance for me is the weakest in this drama...I think individually and as a group they are doing a great…
I'm sucker for romance too, but it doesn't have to be exposed that much. I liked how it has been done in Military Prosecutor Doberman. If they would pull off something like that here it would be perfectly fine for me. And characters having their own personal agendas is also a good point. Whatever they do, I'll rate it at the end. I've learnt that people overreact too much to romances and relationships developments. That is the reason I'm afraid to start 25-21, people seems to be very emotional (in a bad way) about the ending :)
I wonder how many of those who write that without SoMin they won't watch it, will actually watch it. But I expect low rating bombing no matter what the quality of the show is. I'll be waiting with popcorn to see that :)

It is available on Netflix if anyone wonders.
