Loved episode 10 and 11 so much. ❤ Zhang Qiling's story is truly heartbreaking; everything about him is just so damn tragic. Sacrificing his future and everything he could have been, just to get answers about his origins. Someone give that boy a hug. 😭 I liked the colors in episode 10, especially the black/white contrast in Zhang Qiling's appearance. With his pale skin and his dark hair and eyes, he kind of reminded me of Dream of the Endless from The Sandman.
Also, I liked that tiny Zhang boy who imitated him. Wu Xie's and Pangzi's reactions were absolutely priceless, when they saw him. 😂
Yeah, I agree. And I'll keep calling this Tibetan Sea Flower in my head, because that title is way more poetic and sounds less generic than the current one. 😌❤
Yeah, I miss their relationship, too. I loved watching the adventures of the three baby grave robbers (Li Cu, Su Wan & Yang Hao). They would have made a great next generation iron triangle. At least there's still fan fiction. 😂
Same here. I loved Wu Xie's relationship with Li Cu, which was messed-up and complicated but also parental in a way. The two were in a way very alike, just a generation apart.
I absolutely loved Qin Hao as Wu Xie in Tomb of the Sea, which is also my favorite 'season' of The Lost Tomb overall – ironically, since the Iron Triangle is barely in it. But I loved how dark it was and how much Xiaoge's absence has taken a toll on Wu Xie, seen particularly in his bitterness and loss of innocence. ❤
I knew this drama would be about Zhang Qiling's backstory, but I still didn't expect to see him THIS much in it. I'm not used to that. 😂
But so far, I'm immensely enjoying Zhang Kang Le's performance in that role. His subtle micro expressions and his expressive eyes really bring the character to life without (m)any words. ❤
This drama has reached 25000 in terms of popularity on the Tencent Heat Index and we're barely 10 episodes in! Let's see how much further it will go. 😄
Episode 5: Knowing Wu Xie, I always knew he'd annoy all those serious business Zhang family members to death if he ever met them, and man, he does NOT disappoint on that front. 😂 It's a miracle that Zhang Haixing hasn't murdered him yet.

No, this takes place mostly after he's already gone behind the gate, but there are lots of flashbacks to both his youth and his adventures with Wu Xie and Pangzi. :)
According to the end credits, this should be the first time we get to see Wu Xie's parents. There's also going to be a lot of interesting cameo appearances. 😊
