The version of your « worst ending » will give me nightmares X.XI really hope they end up together. I think…
Even I thought that may be there will be another age gap until they finally get together. The gist of the drama mentions 'their love story over several years' and 3 years is not really several years...hence the possibility.
Not sure if anyone watches yaoi/BL but the movie Doukyuusei is a must watch if you liked this drama! It's only…
There is this anime which has been my long favourite - :Honey and Clover'. That anime was the best slice of life genre. I have no idea how they managed to ruin the live action of such a beautiful anime. It had deep emotions, deep friendship and interwined relationships.
I was loving this, but dropped it after 10 episodes I think. May be because it was airing then and as usual anticipation killed my desire eventually. Hopefully someday I will continue.
it's suffocating seeing only a few scenes for kuroiwa and hijiri for episodes 6 and 7. I want more
I wish the director sees these comments. Not as a fan service, but I just want to see their love bloom. Them talking like a normal couple, enjoying each other's little things.
I have watched a lot of kdramas but this is totally on a different level. I have never been so invested in a kdrama…
In the anticipation game I have actually dropped most of the dramas.I think normally I would have completed many dramas if I had watched after their air time. How do I put it,.....I just give up and move on with my emotions mid way through the drama.
even i feel the same. k-dramas are just not going deep anymore. The love in recent rom-coms feel superficial.…
I am personally extremely happy that you mentioned Miss Hammurabi. That was an absolute gem this year. The characterization was deep and Im Ba Reun is definitely my ideal man if there is any such thing. Each case played with my emotions and had a deep impact on my understanding as well.
I was crazy about Pretty noona because of the chemistry when it started and how natural the love between them was but i dropped it suddenly after ep 5-6 and haven't picked it yet.
Same here, rarely do i complete k dramas even if i love the actors. Somewhere in the middle it's just doesn't seem exciting. 'It's Okay that's Love' is one of those dramas that will forever remain personal favourite like Chugakusei nikki. That though is not just a love story. W-two worlds was also very exciting. The chemistry between leads in these dramas was electric.
Although, nothing is comparable to our dear Okada Kenshi and Arimura Kazumi. Not even Lee Jong suk can do that :)
I saw ep 7 raw and don’t understand what they said. I want to know what in the note, too. Akira is dating with…
If she continues doing that, ahhhh....I'am angry. While I understand her state and her passive nature....I am like 'just please Hijiri, go with your heart.. accept it. You won't love anyone as much as him. He is for you!'
Anyways, because she keeps breaking his heart, I guess he decides to give up thinking that that is what she wants. And then in the end she will go to him finally. It has always been a trend with her. Eventually, giving in to her heart despite everything.
Shit... seriously anxious.....like i absolutely want to believe it will be happy ending....and I don't know what…
But speaking about 5 cms per second, that is one of my most favourite movies of all time. Deeply moving masterpiece. Although sad, I did accept his moving on because the connection was long lost. May be I only moved on because the guy smiled in the end. That single expression changed everything. Otherwise in all likelihood i would have been a wreck.

Dude...no!!!! I still accepted 5 cms per second because they first meet as 10-12 year olds and share innocent love and then there's a huge timeskip and they again barely cross paths in their late 20s. This was still acceptable because obviously you will smile nostalgically at your kid self and plus it's completely different after 15 odd years and transitioning from puberty.
But Akira and Hijiri share pure but mature love. Although he is 15 , he has gone through puberty. And the timeskip is 3 years when he also becomes an adult legally so I don't see a reason why they should not end up together. They both haven't moved on.
Very stressed out over the ending now. I can't trust the japanese with endings.
This drama is a masterpiece!!!!! being a kdrama fan I can say this has much more feels than the recent kdrama…
I have watched a lot of kdramas but this is totally on a different level. I have never been so invested in a kdrama and that too for so long. I wondered if whether me knowing/learning japanese automatically made me feel closer to it. But i guess not ... it's the' feel' eventually. The complexity of emotions is just too deep. At least I have never found any drama which is purely a love story so engaging from start to end and felt so crazy with the emotions. No where close to this.
Ive been wondering too. What is Akira means exactly? And whose the one that hijiri chase for? And also the scene…
Personally , i feel Akira does think of giving up on her finally because she keeps pushing him away. And in between the fellow sensei also asks her to leave the city together since she is severely accused again because of Kuroiwa's and Tachibana's mom. But in the end she does run after Kuroiwa for a change accepting everything. And it is them sitting by the sea.
why do i feel like the ending wont be a happy ending
How could they still give us sad ending after all the turmoil. I would totally stop watching dramas if that really does happen. My heart is already a wreck as it is ever since i started watching this drama.
