I just noticed that Akira's expressions when he's with Hijiri is more... Sweet and caring and loving and genuine…
I had been thinking the same. He eyes are just so tender and in love. Yesterday's park scene was euphoric. Although she eventually pushes him away but the whole scene was so satisfying. The reassurity that he loves her exactly the same way he did 3 years ago and yet there's maturity in his 18 year self.
He is so clear and honest about his feelings for her. None of the other relationships in his life have that connection. He is just not open and evidently doesn't feel so strongly about other relationships in his life. Okada Kenshi is just a great great actor to be able to emote all these feelings so perfectly. Like where was he uptil now!
Shit... seriously anxious.....like i absolutely want to believe it will be happy ending....and I don't know what…
TRUE....so true... everything that I feel as well. My heart has been absolutely a wreck ever since I started watching this drama one fateful evening in my life
The drama was trending number 1 on japan twitter while airing/immediately after it finished airing
Whoaaaa... that's just amazing. More than worth it. I wish this will be like a break through drama for japanese industry and make it go beyond the level of korean dramas.
Personally I am huge fan of korean dramas, but this is just levels above the korean dramas. And I am extremely euphoric that's its japanese for a change. Kudos to everyone involved. It's absolutely working like a maaterpiece.
Just thinking about how this drama will end in 3 more episodes makes me dejected.
Shit... seriously anxious.....like i absolutely want to believe it will be happy ending....and I don't know what will happen of me if it doesn't. Currently quite honestly, i would still be happy if nothing else works for them in their life but they end up together. That is what i am concerned about.
I look forward to your recap desuuu ????????????????????
Yes, i will write recap for this one....m elated that they meet again...and it was perfect until she took away her hand....but still...i know she will go to him.....I just so love to watch how persistent he is .Well. not in a bothering way..he just knows that she loves him too.
Wow!!! It seems like they are sitting together by the sea. Thank god....I almost felt like at the end of episode…
I'm convinced it's Akira. Arimura Kazumi posted the pic from that scene a couple of weeks ago expressing how deeply she feels about love between Akira and Hijiri.
New preview is out. They finally meet but seems like Hijiri pushed him away :((https://twitter.com/Yahoo_GYAO/status/1063404403405709313?s=09
Probably... I am getting excited over nothing....i absolutely can't bear Hijiri pushing him away again for any damn reason.
Okada Kenshi is looking too dreamy again. I am in awe of this actor, in a couple of episodes he just transformed into an adult, with that voice and personality it seems like it's really been 3 years since he was 15.

Wow!!! It seems like they are sitting together by the sea. Thank god....I almost felt like at the end of episode 7 he is just going to run to look for her which meant another episode without them actually meeting. But that doesn't seem the case.
There is god out there to listen to our prayers!!! :):):)
True that.. that's exactly what they are doing. Desperately trying to move on . I am glad though, that both of them don't deny still loving each other. They both just deflected it when asked about it.
Isn't Hijiri absolutely adorable with the kids(in ep 6)? It totally feels like that is what she enjoys the most and should stick with teaching elementary school kids. She is perhaps too gentle for the middle/high school kids.
I loved watching Arimura Kazumi playing with those kids.
Yo! This drama is affecting me big time (like seriously no other drama affected me so much for such a long time). Initially I did plan to write summary for all the episodes, but ep 6 was too heartbreaking :( I am not sure i want to go through all that again while summarising. Probably, i will write a short summary..not a detailed one. Too bad for my heart.!
It's not her fault though. She is very kind and good as a person but often somewhere someone else will always…
Hmm....I actually didn't find her playing a damsel in distress. She is passive which is reminiscent of the japanese society and yet she wants to break free and follow her heart (which is also reminiscent of the current generation). She does have strong will and follows her heart as much as possible. She tried so hard to build the rapport and trust with the students even though the situation was totally against her. Also, her honesty with Shioya and Kuroiwa's mom was commendable. Her decision to break up and leave the town was brave- to start all over again when you are that broken-hearted and have nothing at all left with you. She is independent enough and accountable for her own decisions . And she is not shown to be that open about her feelings, although she is aware of them and fully understands them. She is too good sometimes and innocent , eager to appeal to concerned people, and going out of her way for students. Unfortunately, due to lack of experience and absence of shrewdness, she is taken advantage of.
Why did you have to say that? I can't wait to watch it, I am just holding myself from going crazy. I cannot stop…
I can't stop thinking about drama either and I have my Japanese exam coming up this December. I am making myself believe this is part of my studies!
ahhh....I happen to be using this forum as a way of vomiting out all the things I feel after watching and analyzing the episodes. That seems to be the only way to keep me from losing it completely. :D:D
Seems like Kuroiwa moved out of his mom’s house and stopped speaking to her. She must’ve blamed Hijiri for…
She's apprehensive. Not wanting her again in his life. I don't know, its a difficult situation to be in. Like how would you react if your underage son is having a relationship with a women 10 years older than him and plus like starsappear mentioned, she raised him singlehandedly,
But obviously, I don't support her blaming Hijiri even after 3 years and deliberately confronting her. That's too uncalled for. The thing that Hijiri was honest about it and left the town should have made Kuroiwa's mom less resentful about her. And besides now that Kuroiwa is 18 , it's totally his decision who he wants to be with.
