today’s episode was cute and emotional, i quite liked it :’)

i was so close to doing that today because he actually pissed me off so much at the beginning of the episode lmao, but i have a feeling him and mechoori will join hands against michelle🤏🏼

despite the pretty high viewership here, i’m so sad that the comment section is so scarce every week :( i wish more people could just take this show in, it’s such a good palate cleanser; humor, romance, some drama.
i usually love going through the comment section, but it’s a bit dry here 😔

I enjoyed today's episode, especially the last 15 minutes or so were hilarious🤣

netflix translating "casse-toi!" as "get out!" is taking all the juice from it lmao. this is actually not what you should say in a regular setting at all lmao. it means "get the fuck out/fuck off" it's pretty rude and vulgar🤣

generally, i'm glad the subs actually work here when they switch to french because their pronunciation is genuinely atrocious. i wish they didn't include that at all if the actors can't even get a clear sentence out. this is not about them having a koren accent before anyone says anything; it's just ... completely unclear what the hell they're trying to say in the first place😭

i haven't gotten to that part yet but i think the problem might rather be that jin zhao didn't tell him about her past crush (because that's what it was back then, she did not love CXQ, she had a crush which didn't develop further because HE rejected HER) herself, but had to hear it in such a way. coupled with the fact that his own nephew has an on-going thing for jin zhao ... i don't blame CYY for crashing out honestly🤣😪

i love how jin zhao has her little dolls and plushies in bed, it shows that she's still pretty yound after all, and it makes their spaces more intimate and feel lived in🥹

i understand her plight, but she suffers from victim mentality, starts shit and then wonders why li zhen actually talks back like maam… be quiet. ep4 also made me think that she’s more upset about not being the matron of the family due to the failed tribute and death of her husband. she’s an opportunist😒

no offense, but the fourth aunt needs to kick the bucket, i am already tired of her

well clearly not, she’s a snob who comes off as an idiot. seeing her act that way it’s crazy she’s the male lead’s mother. she lacks any sense or propriety.

ep29 and mama chen is again getting on my nerves. all she does is be annoying and gossip, the total opposite of being virtuous

I'm hoping for a twist and that the conflict gets resolved within the episode. I need Ye Jin to be stubborn like a mule, like in the beginning, pestering the male lead to talk things out 😪💯
