Yeah, it's been long since i found a drama with such slow burn into it. Lately, most dramas are like love at first…
yes! as many have pointed out, a nice detail was when the leads went to that wedding. the ml subtly asked the fl how he should acknowledge her ex-fiancé (if at all), and also had her back when the ex-mother-in-law tried to play innocent.
also, even if there is a slight misunderstanding (like the "oh, so he doesn't trust me??"), they resolve it calmly and reasonably. their relationship is mature, but it is also a lot of fun! and nothing is more romantic than being forthcoming and considerate tbh, it shows that you truly value the other person!
last friday, youku released the express package for the last 4 episodes (18-21). i didn't want to spend the money, and since i didn't check the calendar, i didn't know that starting today we'll get an episode a day again. tried watching ep.18 on saturday and couldn't, so i had to wait until today haha. i was just being dramatic!🤣🤍

i like that their conversations are always on eye level, they truly listen and hear each other out. in moments like this the show feels like a slice of life drama tbh. generally, the blend of and use of tropes is done well so far, the show is a lot of fun🥹🕺
I want to start this but isit confusing to follow the gaming part? Like isit a VR headset they wear to enter the…
the sets are real, but the glasses add to the effect as there are some visual effects generated by the game! the vr game is actually quite essential to the leads’ relationship, which is nice! technically, they do wear the headset for as long as they play the game, for immersion’s sake it disappears as they are playing so that the characters and we the viewers really feel like they are in a different world, playing the game. hope this wasn’t too confusing lol!
i really like about the show how the leads get to become friends and build a foundation of trust, understanding, and loyality without entirely dismissing that they do find each other attractive. like yes they like each other but they don’t immediately fall in love, we actually get a nice and strong build up to their relationship as they get to know and understand each other! it’s really nice and mature.
so far, not very much. might change as the story continues though!
second male leads are usually supporting characters
he is the second male lead as he’ll be sort of a competitor/rival to the male lead. he may not have as much screentime right now, but that can always change as the story develops. for now, i think he is intrigued by the fl, maybe physically attracted to her, but i wouldn’t say he’s romantically interested in her at all. he seems to be using her to stirr some feelings in the ml since the two guys are rivals. but i’m not any wiser than the rest since his appearance so far has been sporadic😄🤞🏼
For now, all we have to go by is that Dad thinks it’s a difficult profession.
true, but that was a glorified position tbh. she was treated like a lap dog instead of pursuing a proper career. i'm glad she's at the male lead's company now, working andliving her dream. she may make less money for now, but at least what she does fulfills her!

i mean during their argument he does say that she initially kind of gatekept her major from him because she knew he would oppose to it.
but i also found the sequence hard to watch. i guess i can see where he's coming from, but on the other hand... the fl resigned from her job, found a source of income rather quickly by renting out her apartment, then she found a job (she actually wants to do) and thus secured a STABLE source of income. All in all, she solved all her problems herself, and she did so quickly and smartly without compromsing. Bummer that he did not acknowledge that at all actually :(
maybe it'll be a little bit of both? we'll have to see👀
i mean it certainly is physical attraction since they have only met a few times and barely spoken about anything of consequence. but the fl is attractive, from what he has seen quite dedicated to her work, so yeah. i think he's attracted, just not romantically!
