This article should be retitled: "Currently Watching Something in the Rain and Making People Hungry with a Bunch of Elaborate Food Metaphors". I have to try popcorn with milk now, thanks a lot :)
lol, Korean daily dramas sound so much like Indian dramas. I hate Indian dramas with a burning passion that comes from years of having them on in the background. Think I'll stay away from Kdailies then!
One thing I love about dramas in general is how well and openly the male actors cry. It's so refreshing compared to the western TV shows I grew up with, where dudes grit out a couple manly tears in only the most extreme circumstances, and actual sobbing is simply unheard of.
I started watching Youn's Kitchen 2 because of Park Seo Joon but I found I really enjoy the relaxed, mellow vibe and now I want to find more variety/reality with that gentle feel. Sounds like Hyori's Bed & Breakfast might be similar?
Just started watching this even though I know it's probably going to be terrible, because I feel like my education in Kdrama won't be complete without it. Maybe because my expectations are low, I won't hate it?

Yep, they were two different people and yeah, it's totally random. I was kind of confused by it myself and had to go back to double check, so it's not just you. Welcome to the wonderful world of dramas! I'm sure in like a year from now you'll be well-versed enough you could take over a corporation yourself ;)
Everyone's focused on Madam X, but am I the only one confused about the car crash? Chairman Martin was the one…
I don't think Martin had anything to do with Min Kyu's parents' deaths? He killed the former chairman, an old man we met a couple of times in flashback, but the parents really did just die in an accident it seems to me. It IS hard to believe that for once an accident was just an accident in dramaland, but there we go :)
This drama could have been silly, fun and cute and that would have been enough, but somewhere along the way it turned into a real heart-wrencher. The lead performances gave it so much emotional depth. Yoo Seung Ho gets a lot of deserved credit, but Chae Soo Bin really nailed it - she made me care as much about Aji 3 as I did about Jo Ji Ah.
Every beautiful moment of this drama hits me in the heart. Even hours after watching an episode, I still feel a strange mix of joy and sadness hanging like a weight in my chest. I'm only on Episode 8 still because I seriously need a day or two to calm down between viewings.
I did enjoy this and I even tried to love it like others seem to, but there was just a bit too much pointless angst. Joo Gun and Tae Yang are so cute when they're happy together, it's a pity they spend so much time insisting they can't be happy together.
