The way Sae Woo's family is behaving feels like such a betrayal. How can they treat Poong that way?? Their ungratefulness is simply staggering. Sae Woo's mom has obviously been a delicate, snooty little flower all along, but Seol Ja and Geok Jong know the meaning of hard work - they should know it's time to show her a little tough love. By now I want them all to leave and go down with the sinking ship that is the hotel. The gangsters have been learning well, they've got this covered!

I watched Japan vs. Belgium today and it was SO STRESSFUL I was like why am I doing this to myself why is the universe depriving me of the cutest robot smile our world has ever seen and giving me weeping Japanese soccer players instead?

You know you watch too many dramas when you read this comment and assume it's referring to Lee Jong Suk

I can't stand her. Every time she appears on screen she just makes me tense up, wondering what pushy thing is she going to do next? It even bothers me the way she keeps calling So Bong 'Jagi' (sweetie), like she's constantly trying to sweet-talk her into a bad idea. Maybe I need a flashback or something to show me why those two got so close because right now I can't think why So Bong would want to be around her.

What a fun, fast-paced thrill ride of a show that was! Yes, it got a little plot-holey at times but I can forgive that because tightly-wound logic is not what I came here for. The cast was amazing - we got a badass female lead, two hugely charismatic villains, a hilarious, loving family of sidekicks and of course, the amazing Lee Joon Gi running the show, doing what he does best.

Poong and Sae Woo are so flat out cute. I love how they're so casually flirty and suggestive with one another. I'm going to be so frustrated if Sae Woo starts keeping more secrets once her ex is back in the picture next week - that's what will hurt an honest, upstanding guy like Poong the most (thanks a bunch, Dal Hui). The whole thing kind of smacks of conflict just for the sake of conflict, and so far this drama has been better than that.

You gotta love a good k-drama cliche. When So Bong stepped out of the bar into the rain, I was literally counting down: "Umbrella appears over her head in 5... 4... "

Wow. This was so beautifully heart-twisting. I liked that characters who would be predictable in lesser dramas were more complex than they seemed at first, and had the power to surprise me until the end without it feeling unrealistic. I loved PMY in this but YWJ really got my heart with the emotion in his eyes every time he looks at her. Also Yeonsangun is by far my favourite villain of all time now. I never thought I could feel so sorry for someone so cruel. He was always cruelest to himself, I guess.

I know right? The military seems to agree with them so far. Plus it's great they all get time to focus on solo stuff. Already looking forward to Junho's next album and tour this summer, and knowing his work ethic I suspect he might even squeeze another drama into the year. Here's hoping anyway :)

I was intrigued by Junho in Chief Kim, so I watched an MV and it all began. By now I’m even saving 240px raw clips of variety show appearances from 2009. Feels like I got six new faves for the price of one, only a decade too late lol. Oh well, only five years to go til the next comeback!

This drama made me see you don't need to get the girl to steal the show. I would rather see Poong with Sae Woo, but Chil Seong is my fave. And I say this as a Junho stan who never watched Jang Hyuk in anything before. Chil Seong is just that unique and beautiful as a character. Ultimately, though, it's all about the trio. Each one makes the others better and more interesting, and I eat up all their scenes together.

I totally get why these things annoy you, but personally I kinda love them. I'm not expecting reality from my k-dramas most of the time, so I just have a little chuckle at the silly cliche thing and chalk it up to the weird rules of dramaworld. Looking out for stupid tropes makes a fun drinking game when you're watching with friends, actually :)

More and more people watched the ending, I guess. It's a wonderful drama for the first half, but it becomes slow and repetitive by the end. Characters change from amazing to awful, or from bad to worse. Nothing is resolved in a satisfactory way. The OST which was sweet at the beginning becomes mind-numbing. Sorry, can you tell I'm still disappointed by how fast it all went downhill?

The umbrella scene was so warm and lovely. I ship Sae Woo with Poong but I ship Chil Seong with HUMANITY. We can't survive with you, Mr Light.

That awkward moment when you just stand there and burn to death because you're so into each other (even though one of you is in Disaster Mode and should know better).

Does Park Seo Joon live in Hyun Bin's house from Secret Garden?? Maybe Joo Won and Ra Im decided to move out lol. I could see Joo Won selling it to Yeong Joon because he likes the cut of his jib

Okay when Poong gave Chil Seong the princess moment, picking him up from the hospital, it was the CUTEST. I would watch a whole drama just the two them having breakfast and running errands together.

I really didn't understand Sang Pil's uncle in ep 8. Why did he suddenly feel like he HAD to go to Giseong alone? And then why walk into the fishiest situation ever in Mayor An's office, with barely any backup? It makes no sense that he would last for so long as a respected gang boss only to be taken down like this. It's annoying because everything else is so good and fun but this just smacks of poor writing.
