Kan - the actor for BLs! 😂 But yes, I truly wouldn't mind seeing him in one again. "Although I love you and you?" was okay, but I didn't see the chemistry there enough.
Please some director, cast him for another BL again! 😂

In my eyes, this is one of the BLs that is completely underrated! I love the interaction between Sahara and Toki. Toki might at the first glance look like a person who isn't really grown-up in his character, but mentally there is a lot going on his head. Truly love his rebellious side, but also his loving and accepting character.
The only thing I didn't like about this series is that it took too much time about telling Sahara's love of the past. It could have been reduced and spent more on Toki. other than that, for me this series has really rewatch value!

No there are two special episodes! But I wouldn'r mind a second season to be honest!

Now after also the JBLs "Therapy Game" and "Love begins in the world of if" have ended, I can truly say that "School Trip" was a fresh breeze. No break-ups, never rushed but slow-paced and therefore a great development of the characters within the storyline. Truly outstanding.
I hope we get to see the two special episodes internationnaly otherwise my heart breaks in two.

The initial idea of this series is good, and I loved the slow pace in the first episodes, but the last episode ruined the whole thing because it was way too rushed (including the bed scene). Why doing 6 episodes instead of 10 or at least 8?
The point is that the series showed Kano almost longer in the other world than in the real one where he didn't have a chance to let the relationship with Ogami grow step by step.

I forgot one drama where the setting is also school and where the story is also very fluffy: "I cannot reach you". A MUST watch in case you haven't yet! :)

Actually I love Hotta the most also! I hope to see this actor in other dramas in the future! 😽😽😽 Maybe he gets his own JBL? That would be nice!

The story had a strong beginning, but unfortunately lost the charisma over the episodes. These constant break-offs got on my nerves and even in the final eoisode Minato still had to think over. At some point the relationship didn't make any sense anymore. Honestly the chemistry wasn't there either.
I wasn't a great fan of their acting, good looks unfortunately don't save a bad storyline and acting. There were way better JBLs this year.
So all in all, it wasn't that bad, but not exciting enough to rewatch. For me 6/10.

One of the rare cases where I loved the second season! Watch it!

Next to School Trip my most favorite JBL! So comforting! Love also Season 2!

If you are looking for a wholesome series without any rivals, I can recommend you "Our dining table". One of my most rewatched JBLs! Another one I can recommend is "Minato's coin Laundry" (this one has TWO seasons and both are great!)!

For me personally where Watarai eavesdrops Hioki and his friends and where Hioki says that Watarai seems to be kind since he borrowed the pencil to the one girl. Watari's facial expression got me there so much!

Thank you for this wonderful, wholesome series! I liked the pace the story was told, the actors were well chosen what the chemistry is involved - not only the MLs, but also the side characters added a fantastic atmosphere to the story. One honorable mention: Morisaki's brother Ryoto who only appeared in two episodes, but took my heart away. I wish, we could get a second season to see his background story as he always looked melancholic.
Yes, the whole story is pure cliché, but so well done! One of the rare stories where I wasn't only fixated on the MLs, but also on Hioki's and Watarai's friends who were such lovable characters.
For me next to BL series as "Dining Table" and "Minato's Coin Laundry" one of the best series with rewatch value!
I hope we international Fans can see the two special episodes, plus hoping like never before for a second season!

I don't know why, but I am probably the only one being a bit disappointed about the movie. The couple was captivating, but I didn't see the chemistry too much. Maybe it would have been better to make a series of the story instead a fast movie, because I simply couldn't grasp the love between these two. Literally step by step relationship-wise would have been better than a quick turn.
But maybe my expectations were too high. I wasn't too much into the storyline, it somehow didn't click with me, even though I liked the dancing parts. I might change my view when I see the sequel whenever that will be.

The next two Sundays. If you are in Japan, you are lucky, but we don't know if we get it on international basis.
