Thank you for this wonderful, wholesome series! I liked the pace the story was told, the actors were well chosen what the chemistry is involved - not only the MLs, but also the side characters added a fantastic atmosphere to the story. One honorable mention: Morisaki's brother Ryoto who only appeared in two episodes, but took my heart away. I wish, we could get a second season to see his background story as he always looked melancholic.
Yes, the whole story is pure cliché, but so well done! One of the rare stories where I wasn't only fixated on the MLs, but also on Hioki's and Watarai's friends who were such lovable characters.
For me next to BL series as "Dining Table" and "Minato's Coin Laundry" one of the best series with rewatch value!
I hope we international Fans can see the two special episodes, plus hoping like never before for a second season!

I don't know why, but I am probably the only one being a bit disappointed about the movie. The couple was captivating, but I didn't see the chemistry too much. Maybe it would have been better to make a series of the story instead a fast movie, because I simply couldn't grasp the love between these two. Literally step by step relationship-wise would have been better than a quick turn.
But maybe my expectations were too high. I wasn't too much into the storyline, it somehow didn't click with me, even though I liked the dancing parts. I might change my view when I see the sequel whenever that will be.

The next two Sundays. If you are in Japan, you are lucky, but we don't know if we get it on international basis.

One of my favorite scenes (among others of course) of the last episode is the one with Hioki's club friends and where Watari asks for Tsujitani's Insta account! My goodness, Watari would do anything to get more info about and photos of Hioki! 🤣🤣🤣

Exactly! Whereas in other shows there are millions of break-ups because there is lack of communication, Watari and Hioki are the best example for how not to let this happen, to get misunderstandings out of the way immediately.

Yes, that man played himself straight into my heart! He often looks melancholic, so I would love to know his background story! 🥹

Wonderfully put into words. The fact that both of them are insecure because of the gender is a way more realistic way. Not bothering at all at this age would have been too idealistic. So even though it wasn't a part of the original story, I don't bother at all, it makes the love only stronger.

I truly like the side characters of this drama.
Ryogo-san is such a lovable character; Hard on the outside, soft on the inside. I wish he would have an extra episode for himself so we would to get to know him better!
And Hioki's club members are wonderful - how Tsujitani says that he was worried about Hioki being an errand boy of Watari. They all care about each other.
And how they all supported Hioki while cross.dressing is lovely! Except Watari: he looked very seriously like falling completely for Hioki if he hadn't already.
Yes, this how is all about clichees, but done in a real warm-hearted way.
I will really miss this show when it ends next week!

Actually also like the little scene shortly before where Hioki is having the letter in the hand and walking back to Watari, where he mumbles to himself: "Why me?"
One can see the pain and hurt in his face, maybe not realizing fully yet that he is already in love with Watari, but it is like a stab in the heart that HE of all people has to deliver the letter to him.

I agree with you 100%.
For me this show has so many subtle allusions that one only recognizes when the show progresses. And not only the main cast is well chosen, but I also truly love Hioki's three friends. They have so much character and give us things to smile about.
And yes, I belong to the minority who also didn't like "I hear the sunspot". The concept was good, but the execution not so. I missed the chemestry completely!

Some people think they ARE the standard. 🤣 There are other people here that rant over this series since weeks and still keep on watching it 🤣 (and almost write posts long as novels) , but seriously if they are not into fluffy bls, why watching it? Everyone has her/his likes and dislikes. 💗
