Absolutely right! The director or whoever chose the two main leads did a superb job. Don't want to think about other actors playing them. May have come out way differently!
My goodness, this series is too good to be true! Episode 6 was so emotional and simply wonderful played by both main leads. I am simply in love with the story and with Takoi and Shionno! 😭😭😭
This happens rarely with a series: The chemistry between the main leads is there, but the story is way to repetitive, there is no real development. They could have cut it to a 6 episode series instead of dragging it. At times boring, but still watching until it ends since I like the leads.
I wonder: Is Takeuchi (the one with the glasses) into Suzuki or Serizawa? I had the feeling that in the last scene his eyes were rather lying on Suzuki (but this could be as he is seeing him as a rival to Serizawa).
Honestly, this show feels a bit too idealistic and unrealistic, but I’m not complaining! It’s a good mindless…
I actually have the feeling that Matsuno either regret that he didn't take his side back then or is actually gay/BL lover himself. That would be nice to have him in the circle of Suzuki's friends in the end!
Somehow this series didn't click with me because I didn't see much chemistry between the two. Still the series was okay, but not a rewatch value for me personally.

So far they also changed two things especially: In the scene where the delivering man appeared Takoi DID kiss Shiono while in the series, they were interrupted. Plus, their date place wasn't the sea paradise in the manga, but a baseball game they went to. So let's see if next week it will be a dream(as darbie alluded) or not!
