Hello again! Sorry for the large gap between this message and the last. Of your lists for PTW, I would strongly recommend: Beethoven Virus, The Greatest Love, and Nine. I believe you mentioned that your On Hold list were your priorities, so of those: Maou, Mr. Brain, and That Winter The Wind That Blows.
These were all series I found very high quality or just plain entertaining. :)

You're very kind, thank you. That kind of uncertainty happens to me a lot, too; like right now, I'm kind of inbetween on currently airing shows myself. Princess's Man is a pretty good drama, so that wouldn't be a bad choice at all. :)

Oh! It would be nice if it were merely postponed. He and Shin Ha Kyun both work too little for my tastes, though they're utter joys to watch. At least Uhm Tae Woong does several projects a year, haha. Enough to keep the spoiled me at least somewhat happy.
In A Good Way is still airing, yes. If I could do it over again, I would have waited for the end too. For that and Can We Love? honestly. My impatience when something is good always overtakes me in the middle. XD
That sounds like a good way of dealing with the food cravings. I should try that next time XD There's a series called Gourmet that caught my eye some time ago, as well as the recent Let's Eat. I'll need to prepare all the weapons I can, ne? XD

Absolutely will! In A Good Way, if it continues on as such, will probably be one of the best Taiwanese dramas I've ever seen. The characters are all very real, there's not much in the way of villainy (just believable conflicts), and it has an uplifting feel. Nothing frustrating lasts for long, etc. I'd also agree with other viewers that say they wish they had friends like these characters in school.
You get hungry during food dramas too, huh? I experience that often too, but need to be careful what I eat. Double torture. XD
Apparently the movie was just not coming together well. His co-stars dropped out, the funding wasn't working, etc. That's really too bad, because Myung Min had already completed some mountain climbing training for the thing. X_X

Oh, I know right? It's amazing to see a guy so into the family and being okay with not being the "pants" in the relationship -- especially at a time that most men were. My Victoria-fan friend adores the archetype and wants a similar husband, haha.

I wish Myung Min would come back with another drama too, honestly. He'd taken a film about this mountain climber some time ago, but eventually dropped the project. >.<

Very glad to hear that, then. When I went to watch 1994, all anyone talked about was the love triangle, and I absolutely wanted to avoid such things at all cost. Afterwards, I get to hear many more objective views, as from you, so it sounds much more appealing. If the Taiwanese In A Good Way is any indication, I do like nostalgic dramas, and strong onscreen friendships are always a plus.
I might try to watch them in order they aired then. My mood is more favorable toward romantically-focused dramas, it might take some time to reconcile school themes to that also.
Dinner is fun because the characters are quirky, have their own lives outside of work, and the restaurant atmosphere is very realistic. I actually learned a recipe from it, which is positively delicious. Ah, and the soundtrack is absolutely clutch.

You should track down more of Eguchi-san's work then~ I think you'd like him in Dinner, for instance. He plays such a quirky character there, but his enthusiasm is wildly infectious. Sadly, I've never found his poetry to read, though I'd love to. It's always been difficult for me to find specific Japanese imports (outside of the usual media).
Ah, you've seen Bad Family then? I'm glad to hear it was entertaining. Sometimes when I see idols involved, it worries me -- whether or not I like them.
When it was airing, I had considered Reply 1994. The ship wars scared me off so fast my head spun. Now that all that is through with, I'll probably return to it in the future. I noticed you rather liked it, so that's also pretty encouraging. Have you seen the other, 97? If so, are they similar? The sound of that one was iffy for me, also.

Ah, thank you again for reading that article. It was incredibly fun to work on, so I'm glad either way. Moving is never easy; I recently moved apartments myself, though it was in the summer. I hope things even out for you soon. :)
I keep hearing great things about Miss Korea. Somehow I've never "met" any of the cast other than the second lead, so I feel a little guilty, haha. Boku no Ita Jikan caught my eye as well; Japan does its genre so well. Though, I haven't heard of the Japanese 49. There are so many right now and I'm waiting to see how reliably everything is subbed before choosing between them. *_*

Ah, Captain Tsubasa! My brother was chatting about that with me the other day; apparently we used to have its Super Famicom game long ago. My nostalgia usually starts with magical boy/girl series, like Saint Seiya, when it comes to anime. Now Pegasus Fantasy is stuck in my head, haha.
I'm considering Bad Family, Iki mo Dekinai Natsu, and 37-sai de Isha ni Natta Boku. I'm basically making it very hard on myself, because all three have excellent casts. Choosing between Kim Myung Min, Eguchi Yosuke, and Kusanagi Tsuyoshi was never going to be easy. >.<

Travel might be one of my favorite things in the world. As a child, riding all over the country to relative's houses, it seemed so fun. Or maybe I just liked car rides, haha.
With an accomplished Victoria, it would probably be very difficult to depict every aspect of her in any one thing. If they were to do a miniseries, that might help, but with her reputation it would have to be a monumental effort. I've often wanted something similar with Napoleon, but everything they've ever produced (while pretty and interesting) pales in comparison to my books. Argh. XD
It does seem, historically, that people tried to kill both the best and worst of rulers. I've never understood trying to kill the good ones, but there are just some genuinely bad or genuinely crazy individuals out there.

My brother lives in Florida, so I know that feeling. He comes here for the holidays and snow, then returns to sunny weather and beaches. It's so not fair, haha. Though, I think I would languish in the heat; I've lived too long in the chill.
It makes me happy that you're enjoying the novel! The picture Gaskell paints is so detailed. I need to remind myself to pick up her Cranford writings; even though I enjoyed the drama version, it seems I kept putting off the books themselves. XD

I always liked Iolaus too. Did you ever see the animation crossover they did between this series and Xena? The art itself was nothing special, but the voice acting was authentic and it had great music. Nostalgia has me thinking about lots of old animations I liked as a kid lately, haha. When checking out Kevin Sorbo's IMDB though, it appears he works pretty often. XD
I know right? It was when I was much younger, so it was pretty much me, a notebook, and the computer. Now, I certainly keep multiple copies of everything, but work happens less.
It probably wouldn't be too hard to recreate the stories, honestly. The one I worked most on, I still remember most of its details. It might be fun to spin those ideas into something with the influence of 1001 Nights, since it regarded multiple stories anyway.
It'll give me something to do while I agonize over which series to start next. XD

It seems like the channel used to utilize actors with bigger names in the past too, wow. Kevin Sorbo, though? I can never get him out of my head as Hercules. My family used to watch that and Xena so much when I was just a kid, haha. Never knew that Hallmark used to do so many fantasy productions :o
Wouldn't it be fun if scripts got picked up like that? I once had an impossible dream of doing a Japanese drama. My language skills never got good enough though, unfortunately. If the story goes anywhere though, I'd love to share it with you! Your critical eye would be much appreciated.
I adore retellings! When done right, they have such an atmosphere. There was a time I wanted to do this huge series based on them, but lost the first entry in a hard drive crash. Ouch.
Ah, tell me how that one treats you! I heard their chemistry was such that nobody was surprised they got together. XD
Great choices! It's good to see the classics getting love. The one I really need to get around to is Rashomon; there's this wonderful little special on Hulu that prefaces it. It talks about all the cinematographic effects used in the film, since everything apparently looks amazing even today.
These were all series I found very high quality or just plain entertaining. :)
