I adore your new icon by the way. It is the epitome of squee-worthiness, for lack of a better term. XD
Curls are a weakness for me too. Though I agree some people look better in them than others; for instance, Matthew Macfadyen needs to avoid them like the plague.

My currently airing set includes: Deja Vu, In A Good Way, Prime Minister and I, and Can We Love? Otherwise I'm working through several somewhat rarely watched titles like Dream Again and President. Each of them is pretty fun, so I feel lucky.
Have you been hitting slumps lately? That tends to happen to me, only with genres... romance was a big no until recently @_@
Congratulations on writing a very informative article ^^
Thank you! I'm glad you stopped by to check it out. :)

McMaster Bujold writes with a very evocative quality. I feel a real sense of being with her writing, due to her vibrant descriptive powers. Unlike some writers that might get bogged down with such things, she uses it to great effect.
I haven't gotten far enough to comment on her plotting abilities, though. Everything seems like solid fantasy, though I get the distinct impression of originality so far.

That makes two of us. It doesn't help that I have a tendency to utilize characters I like versus what might be best for my team. Right now I'm actually playing with supports, so my current trouble is choosing which couples suit each other best. XD
My favorite Harvest Moon titles might be the two for the Wii. That game never seemed to get old, though sometimes I'd get frustrated and want to change husbands, haha! Talking about it actually makes me want to dig it out, so perhaps after Fire Emblem. My hope is that the 3DS titles grow in quality soon too; if they go on this way, the company might discontinue the franchise. Though that seems quite far off, even if that were to happen.
That sounds wonderful! Feel free to share details on your work with me; I love hearing about creativity. Which dollmakers do you use, by the way? It's been a while since I've seen a good one. (Part 2 ->)

Oh, so they still do something similar there? I wonder why the melodramatic ones were so popular. Though I must admit sometimes that kind of thing appeals to me, they can be so painful after a spell. XD
The only thing I always miss about actors (who've portrayed regency heroes) in other roles is the costume. Sometimes the right curl or suit coat really does it for them. They're mostly gorgeous in or out of it, but it always makes me sad. XD
Most of these 'currently watching' articles just makes me add a drama to my Plan to watch list at the most, However…
Glad this article compelled you to watch Can We Love?, though hopefully the wait doesn't hurt too much. At least we're almost to the halfway point, ne? :)
I'm enjoying this drama very much, it reminds me of Gentleman's Dignity (3 mature ladies instead of men) only…
I still need to see Gentleman's Dignity, but the description always did strike me as similar. Can We Love? really does have a great cast though; it surprises me how solid everyone is!
I'm glad someone wrote an article about this drama...it's so underrated! Ilove all the characters here (except…
It really is underrated, ne? Ji Hyun keeps me consistently interested as well, though Eugene's has an emotional weight. Sun Mi doesn't really make me angry, so much as sad; her behavior is so desperate at times.

Oh, hello again! We all get busy, so don't worry about apologizing. I'm very glad to hear from you :)
I've been in a similar mood, though I've gone back to the old-ish Fire Emblem titles. Because they're strategy titles, it's easy to play them and watch things at once. Double the entertainment, haha. What kind of game are you thinking on writing? I honestly miss the old Harvest Moon style also, though Rune Factory filled the gap for a little while. It's really too bad the company didn't do well.
Eventually, I finished that novel and moved on to a better series. This time I'm working on a fantasy series by Lois McMaster Bujold; the change absolutely feels refreshing and I always love a good female author.

Oh, wow! I'd known that Mr. Dickens had been her editor, but never that he'd helped with the title. That was a very smooth move by him; "Margaret Hale" has the same flavor as Bronte titles, but a more descriptive title really adds to the beauty of the story. People say titles never matter, but sometimes they're like cherry topping.
On the subject of serialization: it's wild how many classic novels were actually released in parts. Too bad that format rarely works anymore! There are many decent online publications like that, but it would be fun to have to buy like a magazine every month. XD
Bridget Jones! Colin Firth was too cute as the modern Darcy; like, the Christmas sweaters alone, haha! Totally agree on the second film, though. That happens to me too, any time a character does that to themselves. Second-hand embarrassment actually makes me avoid things sometimes XD Terrible feeling.

With Taiwanese dramas, it seems fans tend to swap incorrect episode counts frequently. Few ever run over 21 episodes these days (even though all sites read anywhere from 15-20). I wish in these instances the producers would drop a definitive amount, though; the lowest numbers are too little, and the highest are too much. Almost had a heart attack when I saw "33" today. XD
There are several Japanese dramas, particularly currently airing, which have caught my attention. It seems those top choices (Ashita, Mama ga Inai/Lost Days) are being reliably subbed, so that's promising. I've just finished this TV Asahi sp called The Ransomed Olympics. Might review that one after my thoughts settle.
It's good actors are so choosy though! I've noticed most come-back dramas are utterly fantastic -- well, most, anyway. XD

Definitely agree on Ms. Wade and Tattycoram. It actually surprised me how deep the divide was between the build-up and delivery. The majority of the revelations were portrayed very Dickensian, which is nice. Monsieur Blandois got a rather smashing send-off, no? XD
Things like the parallel between Mrs. Clennam and Mr. Dorrit make me love cinematography. Little things with the camera can add whole new layers to a story that might not exist as such in the script or novel.
It makes me sad places like that office still exist in the world, though. I was flabbergasted at how ridiculous and corrupt it was.
On RA: I know right? How remarkable for him to delve so deeply into his character. Even as an actress, I probably would have never checked out the thoughts of an author -- only peeped into the world of the character. Those interviews really make you appreciate his talent more.

It was the same writer as When A Man Loves? That actually explains a lot. Though I found that drama fun in a masochistic way, The Equator Man evens out pretty quickly (mostly because of the male leads). But it seems that writer enjoys characters with reprehensible behavior. Oddly enough, the *director* is the same from Sword and Flower, so the uncanny reaches in from all angles.
If you see and enjoy Resurrection before me, tell me how it fares~
I'd noticed that too. Does he not act anymore because he's already made the money and fame? That's too bad. It's usually easier for me to "meet" actors in new/recent productions.
I am! In A Good Way remains consistently pleasant, every single character is likable and unique. The nostalgia factor is there, and somehow I learn a lot about Taipei all the time. I'm just worried about how many episodes it'll ultimately have. Seems to change a lot.
Very nice guide to other entertainment formats available on Korean television. This should be very useful, especially to those who don't know where to start. Good work!
I typically turn to western entertainment whenever a burnout strikes. The total shift in tone (and well, most everything) makes for a good change in pace.
